Then, in the rematch, the Staten Island Princess managed to climb up the ladder and grab the briefcase on her own. Of course, at times Ellsworth did help her.

There had been rumors for a long time that the only reason the rematch took place on an episode of SmackDown Live because there was a lot of fan backlash from James Ellsworth being the first person to retrieve the briefcase in the first-ever Women's Money In The Ladder Match.
Recently, James Ellsworth took to Twitter to respond to a fan who reiterated the above-mentioned rumor. Ellsworth shared that the rematch was always the plan. Both Carmella and Ellsworth knew about the rematch even before the PLE match.
'Actually not true. We always knew we were doing the second one before the first one happened; we did a rehearsal the next day for the second one . But you know 'internet,'' James Ellsworth tweeted.

Renowned fitness influencer Joey Swoll vowed not to be canceled by critics in his return to social media following backlash over his tribute to late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. Swoll, the 'CEO of Gym Positivity,' was back online on Friday — four days after he was run off his platform — as he called out gym bullies, but not before he lashed out against critics over his now-viral post. Fortunately, Cena appears to feel it too, as, in his final promo before SummerSlam, 'The Face That Runs the Place' called out his former friends for abandoning him in a promo many are considering a major babyface turn. 'Cody Rhodes, I told you that I was exhausted. And that a match at SummerSlam would be too difficult for me. You didn't listen. You assaulted me. You forged my signature. And you forced me into one of the most dangerous matches in WWE, on one of its grandest stages, for its biggest championship. I only got one thing left to say to you: Thank you,' John Cena declared.
