Taehyung, Namjoon, and J-Hope attended Jin's concert in Goyang. In a video, Namjoon sat in the audience along with J-Hope and Taehyung. They chatted with each other. In a clip, a woman, seemingly Namjoon's mother, was seen asking Taehyung about his jacket, to which he shook his head. At this, Namjoon quickly gave his jacket to Taehyung, which he promptly wore. The trio was also seen grooving to Jin's songs. In a video, Jin was heard singing Mikrokosmos and giving a shoutout to BTS member Jimin. Jin said, "Jimin, aren't you there? Come and sing with me." In another video, Jin asked J-Hope to sing a song with him. Talking to Namjoon, Jin said, "RM, our leader. He is quite shy now. I'll go easy on you since you've just been discharged." Petition filed to BAN BTS star SUGA from KBS broadcasts over DUI conviction
A formal petition has been submitted to the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), urging the network to restrict appearances by BTS member SUGA due to a past drunk driving offence. The petition, posted on KBS's viewer message board, calls on the broadcaster's Appearance Regulation Review Committee to evaluate the singer's eligibility for future broadcasts. Titled 'Request to restrict SUGA's appearance in relation to his DUI fine,' the petition references an incident from August 6, 2024, during which SUGA, while serving as a social service agent, was caught operating an electric scooter under the influence. His blood alcohol level reportedly exceeded 0.08% — enough to warrant license revocation under South Korean law. He was later fined 15 million KRW approximately $11,000 via a summary order issued in September 2024. As reported by allkpop, the petitioner argued that drunk driving is a 'serious offense that can directly endanger others,' and expressed concern over the potential message SUGA's presence on television could send to younger audiences. 'As a public figure with considerable influence over young people, SUGA's continued appearances on television could weaken public awareness of the gravity of DUI crimes,' the petition stated. The petitioner also noted that while KBS had not addressed the matter earlier due to the ongoing investigation, the legal process has since concluded, with the fine finalised on September 27, 2024. SUGA was officially discharged from his alternative military service on June 21, 2025. 'Prompt and fair measures must be taken to maintain public trust and uphold the broadcaster's responsibility as a public institution,' the petition concluded, urging swift action from the committee. As of now, KBS has not publicly responded to the petition.

'When it comes to breaking through, when it comes to who's going to be the first to introduce a sound, who's going to be the first to carve their way through all of that, he's winning,' Biggz said. Since SUGA understands both Korean and Western sounds, he's in a unique spot to connect the two, and the industry trusts him to do just that. 'But I think that SUGA is just a chameleon in terms of production,' he added. Biggz also pointed out what separates legends like Kanye and Eminem: 'that maniacal obsession with their careers,' something he clearly sees in SUGA too. Drawing a direct comparison to Eminem, he said: 'He has that presence. He has that authenticity, like Eminem, SUGA carries himself with respect, but if someone offends one of his team members, you're going to have to talk to him first.' 'In the future, K-pop will likely have an increasing influence on global trends,' Biggz said, adding, 'Min Yoongi can become a conduit for Western professionals into the Korean industry, demonstrating that professionalism and respect for the process are universal values of the Korean music industry.' The producer acknowledged that while he isn't sure what kind of life SUGA lived in his early days, one thing he's certain of is that this kind of resilience, understanding, presence, and toughness, those genuine qualities, don't come from a perfect life situation.
