Hagi told move to Euro club is 'step back' from Rangers
Ciprian Marica, Hagi's fellow countryman who turned out for the likes of Stuttgart and Shakhtar Donetsk, thinks a switch to Legia wouldn't be the best.

He said [sport.ro via Record]: "I don't know if Legia is a step back for Hagi, but sometimes you have to take a step back to gain momentum and move on.
"Ianis needs to play, he's a player who has suffered a lot due to injuries.
"He needs a club that supports him and a coach who stands behind him."
Hagi himself recently opened up on his future: "I haven't made any decisions yet," he revealed.
"Discussions are ongoing with Legia Warsaw and other clubs, too.
"I don't want to rush, because I want to be careful when making a decision. I hope to start the next season right and find the club and manager with whom I can continue to develop and play to my maximum ability.
"I am aware of what I can do on the pitch and my potential for growth. I still have a lot to learn, I have not yet reached my maximum level.
"I feel very good from a medical point of view. I recovered from the small injury I had. I am already training fully. I am healthy and I can't wait to start the next season.
"As I said, various negotiations are underway. I am free from contract and my agents are very active during this period. At the right time, I will make the best decision."

The club's director Jan Willem van Dop told RTV Oost: "The only thing that's going on, and as far as we're concerned, that's not going through, is a bid for Jakob Breum from a foreign club. "We're so far apart on that. You have to stand your ground. "And then a guy like that also has to realise that it could very well be a good thing to stay with us at least until the winter break, just like Oliver Edvardsen." It's now being claimed by the Celtic Way that the foreign club was Celtic. Brendan Rodgers' side are in the market for a replacement for Nicolas Kuhn who left for Como in a £17million deal, while Jota won't return to action until after the new year. They've brought in Sweden attacker Benjamin Nygren in a cut-price £2m deal from Nordsjaelland. And they've also been strongly linked with Antwerp's Michel-Ange Balikwisha, but his agent has revealed while there is interest, no offers have been made for the 24-year-old. Celtic winger Luis Palma has joined Polish side Lech Poznan on a season-long loan. The 25-year-old Honduras international joined the Hoops two seasons ago ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign. He initially caught the eye with a string of impressive performances and scored ten goals as Brendan Rodgers side won the league and cup double. But he struggled to maintain his place in the starting team following a loss of form and was loaned out to Olympiakos in Greece last season. Celtic confirmed on Monday that he has left in another loan deal, this time to Poland. A statement posted on social media said: 'Luis Palma has joined Lech Poznań on loan. 'Good luck, Luis.'
