Just days after ESPN released a docuseries following a celebrity-owned European soccer team, Prime Video dropped their own.
In 2023, five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady became a minority owner of Birmingham City F.C., a soccer team in the English football league system. Prime Video's new doc, 'Built in Birmingham: Brady and the Blues,' follows Birmingham City's 2024-25 season as Brady takes on a more active role as owner.
Birmingham City currently plays in the Championship, the second tier of English football below the Premier League, but when Brady came on as owner, they played in League One and were promoted after a successful season.

The doc follows the Blues' first season back in the Championship (where they, coincidentally, play against another celebrity-owned success story, Wrexham A.F.C.), and offers unfiltered access to Brady, majority owner Tom Wagner, and the team itself.

The Architecture of Football: RIBA & Tate Liverpool Unveil Fall 2025 Exhibition

In partnership with theTate Liverpool, theRoyal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)presents a Fall 2025 exhibition centered on a quintessentially English sporting culture. 'Home Ground: The Architecture of Football' at Gallery One of Tate Liverpool traces the historical development of football stadium design, dating from the 1890s to the present day. Featuring more than 50 global football stadiums, the Fall 2025 exhibit will dive into the stories and plans for some of the world's most important football venues. As the city prepares for the eventual opening of the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool in 2027, a wealth of architectural models, photographs, and other archival materials will grant visitors insight into the architectural considerations that form the stadium experience and the accompanying social culture of football fandom. 'Football has a unique ability to stir emotions, cross borders and captivate the world,' shared RIBA President, Muyiwa Oki in a statement. 'At their best, stadiums are as iconic as the players themselves, etched into the hearts of fans long after the final whistle. For architects, they offer a rare opportunity to help shape the beautiful game.' From Everton to Chelsea, the exhibit will start at the foundations of modern stadiums led by early designers like Archibald Leitch, one of the foremost club architects in the early 20th century. RIBA then offers a snapshot of modern stadiums designed by firms like BDP, Populous, Herzog & de Meuron, gmp von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects. 'From the red and blue cauldron of Barcelona's Nou Camp to the iconic arch of Wembley rising in the backdrop of London, great design can amplify atmosphere, heighten drama and leave a lasting mark on a city's skylines,' Oki added. The Home Ground exhibition will be open from October 15, 2025, to January 6, 2026. Information and tickets will be available atthe official Tate website. Days of Our Lives Recap: Xander Catches Sarah and Brady in an Embrace

Days of Our Lives Recap: Xander Catches Sarah and Brady in an Embrace originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's Days of Our Lives recap: Marlena and John's Penthouse: Marlena is on the sofa and thinks back to her dreams of being Stefano's queen of the night. She is staring at pictures of her and John when Brady and Rachel return from the movies. Marlena asks if she and her granddaughter can have a girl's night and Brady makes himself scarce. Once alone, Marlena says she has something important to talk to her granddaughter about. Rachel knows her grandmother wants to talk about Johnny's trial and Marlena tells her how important it is for her to tell the truth. Rachel notes her Uncle EJ wants her to lie but she knows she shouldn't listen to him. Marlena tells Rachel to tell the truth and all will be good. Rachel wonders, if Johnny didn't shoot Uncle EJ, who did? Marlena doesn't know but asks her granddaughter if there is anything she saw that night she hasn't told anyone. Rachel says she doesn't remember anything else from that night. Marlena says she is so sorry for everything and promises it will all turn out ok. Rachel worries if she tells the truth, Uncle EJ will hurt her Grandma Rachel. Marlena promises not to let anyone she loves be hurt. They both call the other fierce when Marlena gets a surprising call. University Hospital – Lobby: Xander says goodbye to Sarah and Victoria, and they give each other a longing stare. Sarah calls EJ and reports about the elevator outage. EJ can't imagine what he's supposed to do about it. Sarah says it's his hospital and needs to tend to it. EJ can't be bothered until tomorrow and Sarah can't believe this is where they are. DiMera Mansion: EJ calls to check in on Sydney (please cast Sydney… Avery Pohl, possibly?) when Gwen arrives on the scene. She says she had no clue Susan could speak to the dead. EJ thinks she better hope his mother can't really speak to the dead because Stefano wouldn't be terribly happy with her living in his home. After EJ hangs up with Sarah, Rita walks in saying she told him nickel and diming the hospital was going to piss folks off. She continues to berate him and then hands him the latest budget reports. EJ has a non-work-related question about his father. Rita says she misses Stefano's charm and quick wit. In fact, she feels his presence in this room so strongly. Her words strike him, and he asks Rita if she believes his father is truly gone. Rita thinks he's being silly as of course Stefano is dead. He explains about Susan feeling his presence and thinks he's still alive. As they didn't find the body… Rita can only say what Dr Rolf told her. Stefano survived Hope's bullet but died many years later in hiding. EJ heard the same story but wonders why his father never said goodbye nor came home. Rita says everyone has to die, even Stefano DiMera. Rita goes back to challenging EJ about pinching pennies at the hospital. He says he has a grand plan for the hospital that is yet to be revealed. She reminds him again about the elevator when EJ gets a call back from Sydney. University Hospital – Elevator: Chad and Cat are stuck. Chad begins to scream as he doesn't do well in small spaces. Cat thinks no one will be coming to get them any time soon as visiting hours are over, shift change is over, and the elevator has been janky all week (These two are simply adorable). Chad tries to jump up to the top to get out the top when Cat says it's an exercise in futility. She goes through all the reasons why his quest won't work. They take a seat, and Chad tries his best to harness his chi. Cat asks Chad about his testimony, and he says EJ thanked him for his testimony on the stand. They go back and forth until Chad tells Cat about Susan and how she believes Stefano is alive. They chat a bit more about Stefano and Chad says, if he was alive, Stefano would have reached out to his family. Cat asks if they were close and Chad continues her history lesson of the DiMera family. Cat and Chad get all kinds of adorable with each other when she admits she's glad not to be stuck in the elevator alone. The Bistro: Xander is chowing down when Gwen wanders up and joins him without an invitation. Gwen is a wee hurt when it appears Xander isn't enjoying their time together. She directly asks about him ditching her a few nights prior. Xander says Sarah doesn't give much of a damn what he does these days and mentions their impending separation. Gwen remembers how she and Xander had a whole lot of fun being naughty back in the day. She hates to see her ex moping around like a sad sack. Xander is done with the conversation and quickly makes his exit. Horton Square: A winded Sarah arrives and runs into Brady saying she had to carry Victoria down six flights of stairs because of the bum elevators. They get a wee adorable as they go back and forth and Brady thinks she deserves a reward. They agree to go have a drink together. Sarah orders a mocktail but says it's not because of Brady. They snark a bit about Xander keeping her from going to the Bahamas. Sarah can't complain because Xander has been somewhat lovely to her recently. They both agree co-parenting with someone with whom you are at odds is a nightmare. She doesn't want to make the same mistake with Victoria that Brady told her he and Kristen made with Rachel. Brady and Sarah grab some beverages and chat about their relationships. Sarah notes next week is her one-year wedding anniversary. She tears up when she says they were talking about having a second child but it wasn't meant to be. Days of Our Lives Recap: Rafe Gives Cat a DiMera Family History Lesson Endings Cat says she and Chad have been stuck for over an hour. She decides she wants to take a little nap but is a wee chilly. Chad takes off his jacket and Cat wraps it around her shoulders. Sarah decides it's time to get Victoria home and Brady apologizes for being a bit of a downer about her marriage to Xander. They share an embrace just in time for Xander and Gwen to see. Sydney tells EJ about her surgery. She says something about Samantha Gene before they hang up. Rita inquires and EJ says he got some interesting news about Sami. Marlena tells Rachel she was talking to Samantha Gene who is coming home the next day. Miyu Yamashita struggles on 24th birthday and sees her Women's British Open lead shrink to one shot, Rockland's Megan Khang three back

Advertisement That put Yamashita — who turned 24 on Saturday — at 9-under 207. 'I'll be just looking at what went wrong and what went right and analyzing the day and make the improvements that hopefully will lead to a better round tomorrow,' Yamashita said. Kim put on a fabulous display as the wind got stronger with a 5-under 67. She had a chance to tie for the lead when she hit a 335-yard drive on the 18th hole with a helping wind and fast links turf. She went just long, used her putter from off the green and took three putts for par. Even so, it puts her in the final group with Yamashita as Lim goes for her second major, having won the Advertisement 'Honestly I'm not focused on the leader. I focus on my process and my shot and then my position,' Kim said. And it's not just Kim with a chance. Yamashita's struggles brought several possibilities in the final round, including the always entertaining Charley Hull. She shot a 66, going from 11 shots behind to within three shots of the lead as Hull goes for her first major. Charley Hull's moving day charge in less than 60 seconds ⏱️ — AIG Women's Open (@AIGWomensOpen) 'I just kind of enjoy chasing,' Hull said of playing from behind. 'It's more fun that way.' Andrea Lee had a 67 and was two shots behind, followed by Hull, Rockland native Megan Khang (68), Rio Takeda (74), and Minami Katsu, whose 65 matched the low score of the tournament. Khang, who had six birdies and two bogeys, will be paired with Hull for the final round. Rockland's Megan Khang had six birdies and two bogeys in a round of 4-under 68 that has her in a tie for fourth, three shots off the lead at the Women's British Open. Kin Cheung/Associated Press 'I think there will be a little bit of extra pressure on whoever is the 54-hole leader,' Lee said. 'Tomorrow is going to be pretty tough. Anything can happen out there. I think anyone within five shots has a chance at this championship honestly, so I'm just going to try and keep my head down and stick to my own game plan and try not to look at the leaderboard.' The Women's British Open had the look of a Japanese duel, with Yamashita three shots ahead of Takeda and no one else closer than seven shots. But it was a struggle for Yamashita early with her putting, and then one of the straightest drivers lost her way. She steadied herself with an approach — from the rough, of course — into 3 feet for birdie on No. 11, and a tee shot that settled 3 feet away for another birdie on the par-3 12th. Advertisement But playing out of the fescue caught up with her, and except for that 40-foot par putt on the 17th to keep her in the lead, it was a struggle to get done with the round. She's not backing down! What a moment for Miyu Yamashita to maintain her lead 👏 — AIG Women's Open (@AIGWomensOpen) Takeda wasn't much better, with two bogeys in four holes at the start and two more bogeys over the final five holes. Lottie Woad, the rising English star who Nelly Korda, the No. 1 player in women's golf, is likely to end the major championship season without a title. She shot 74 and fell nine shots behind. Korda has gone 13 tournaments without winning and risks losing her No. 1 ranking to Jeeno Thitikul depending on the final round. The LPGA Tour already is off to a historic start by not having a multiple winner through 19 tournaments, a streak that could continue. Only Kim and Takeda from the top 10 on the leaderboard have won this year.
