Fans roast Indy Clinton for 'cringeworthy' display at Sydney meet-and-greet event

Indy Clinton has faced some not-so-subtle roasting following a meet-and-greet event in Sydney.
The influencer, 27, who is the face of haircare label Bouf, was in the Castle Towers shopping centre in Castle Hill on Saturday to spruik the brand.
However fans were quick to slam Indy after she shared a clip of the event to TikTok.
The clip showed Indy dancing with abandon on a Bouf-themed stage to what appeared to be a smattering of Saturday shoppers.
The mum-of-three looked very much in her element as she gleefully sashayed her way around the stage.

'Dream come true, a dance performance to a crowd (who aren't my kids),' Indy captioned the clip.
However, it wasn't a dream come true for many on the AussieTikTokSnark Reddit page with fans labelling the event as 'cringeworthy'.
'I'm having a good chuckle at the deliberate cropping of the line in her videos, don't think many showed up,' one user wrote.
'Also the dancing on the stage was so cringeworthy, kind of like what a teenager might do as a joke.'
Another agreed, adding that they felt embarrassed for the influencer.
'Just saw her TikTok and nearly passed away from second-hand embarrassment,' they quipped.
'Barely anyone showed up lmfao, and the people that are watching look like they're just having a look because they were walking past while doing their shopping and stopped to see what was going on.'
Yet another, who claimed to be at the event chimed in with: 'I walked past as I was shopping and it was dead.'
It wasn't all negative however, with many fans praising Indy's display over on TikTok.
'We need Indy on a runway ASAP,' one swooned while another, who attended, added: 'You're an icon. Loved meeting you today.
'Such a huge moment,' a third said. 'Performing in front of a crowd must feel incredible.'
It comes after Indy was called out for promoting the hair care brand while wearing wigs and hair extensions.
She shared a video to Instagram giving fans a sneak peek inside her new campaign for Bouf Haircare.
The clip featured Indy posing in a jumpsuit while wearing long hair extensions as well as in a short mini dress with a long blonde wig attached to her locks.
Many flocked to the comments to slam Indy for promoting a hair growth product while wearing fake hair extensions.
'Don't get me wrong, this is cool, but also I'm not drawn to buying haircare when the model has fake hair/extensions. It's just hard to see how a product can be effective when we aren't shown real hair,' one person wrote.
'How do we know her fine hair wasn't caused by postpartum hair loss and the hair gain isn't just what happens when hormones settle after a baby and hair begins to grow back?' another asked.
A third jumped in with: 'I mean this is fun but the choice of wigs and clip ins is not giving hair growth brand. There are so many hair growth serums out there lol.
'Didn't Indy used to plug Bondi Boost all the time?'
Despite the backlash, others rushed to Indy's defence and praised her exciting new campaign.
Bouf Haircare co-founder Rachael Wilde has posted a video to TikTok explaining why they decided to incorporate wigs in their campaign photo shoot.
'Indy documented an entire four months of using the product,' she began.
'The overall art direction, that we wanted to go with was to create this moment of juxtaposition. The woman in her chaotic everyday world and life at home feeling like an absolute superstar with this bold volume of her hair.
'An example is someone sitting on a pile of washing but we wanted to make it glam so we are showing a woman in her bold confident self with all this stuff going on in her life.
'We went with really big with the hair just to go overboard with expressing the polar opposites with these two things.'

However, one holidaymaker, who jetted off to Spain for some time in the sun, recently had the shock of her life when she noticed something unexpected had happened to her skin. ‌ Sofia Carroll recently took to TikTok to share what happened to her after she spent some time soaking up the sun on her travels. After examining her skin after a day sunbathing, it's fair to say she was left pretty gobsmacked - in fact, she probably didn't know it was possible for her skin to look like it did. ‌ Over a clip of her legs, she wrote: "How my skin feels after falling asleep in UV 10." She is then seen pressing her skin with her finger and you can literally hear it sizzle - and it's not the first time people have burnt in the heat. ‌ It sounds like her skin is frying every time she touches it, and it left people totally floored. When they say you can have too much sun, it looks like this video may prove it. One person responded, saying: "Sunscreen my girl." To this, Sofia replied: "Mum sprayed SPF 50 all over [me] when I was snoozing. Didn't work though." ‌ Another seemed to encounter a similar experience, as she wrote: "You and me both girl." The clip has been viewed dozens of times since it was shared. Earlier this week, it was also reported that Hollie Claire couldn't believe what happened to her skin after spending some time relaxing in the sun. Known as hxllieclaire on TikTok, she said a summer tan is "not worth" spending your holiday looking patchy, so she urged people to wear plenty of factor 50 sun cream. As she spent some time relaxing by the pool in Greece, she admitted her head ended up "swelling" because she fell asleep while sunbathing, and woke up looking totally different. ‌ Over a clip, Hollie wrote: "Your reminder to apply sun cream properly and not fall asleep in the sun. Watch to the end to see how my head ended up swelling." How to protect your skin When it comes to protecting your skin in the sun, the NHS advises: "Sunburn increases your risk of skin cancer. Sunburn does not just happen on holiday. You can burn in the UK, even when it's cloudy. "There's no safe or healthy way to get a tan. A tan does not protect your skin from the sun's harmful effects. Aim to strike a balance between protecting yourself from the sun and getting enough vitamin D from sunlight. ‌ "Spend time in the shade when the sun is strongest. In the UK, this is between 11am and 3pm from March to October." When the weather is really warm, people are advised to spend time in the shade between 11am and 3pm, to never burn, cover up with suitable clothing and sunglasses, take extra care with children and use at least factor 30 sunscreen. You shouldn't rely on sunscreen alone to protect your skin from the sun. The NHS says it's important to wear suitable clothing, and to spend plenty of time in the shade when the sun's at its hottest. When buying sunscreen, the label should have: A sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30 to protect against UVB At least 4-star UVA protection The NHS adds: "UVA protection can also be indicated by the letters 'UVA' in a circle, which indicates that it meets the EU standard. Make sure the sunscreen is not past its expiry date. Do not spend any longer in the sun than you would without sunscreen."

Maci Mugele has been trolled by people online after she shared clips of her "giant" baby who weighs 22lb 8oz at just four months old - but insists he's perfectly healthy A mum has been trolled for sharing videos of her "giant" baby that weighs a whopping 22lb at just four months old - but doctors insist he's healthy. ‌ Maci Mugele has shared clips of the baby - that some have branded "chunky" - on TikTok to songs like the I Like Them Chunky song by Users have accused the mum of "child abuse" while others have called the baby "cute". ‌ Gunner weighed 8lb 1oz and measured 19.5 inches tall when he was born on February 19 but has since shot up to 22lb 8oz and now measures two-and-a-half feet long. The 21-year-old says that Gunner measured big throughout her pregnancy and continues to "eat more than the average baby". ‌ The mum-of-one says she never expected it to go viral and rack up more than 20 million views. Maci, from Chandler, Oklahoma, US, said: "He always measured a week or two ahead [when I was pregnant]. ‌ "I could just tell that he was pretty big and everybody already told me that my stomach was bigger than average. You only have two scans throughout your pregnancy so I went to an ultrasound place and paid for an ultrasound to be done to see how big he was. "They told me that he was measuring quite large for how far along I was. I think I was like 34 weeks when he was measuring at 6lb 3oz. "The doctors said that he's healthy but sometimes people just have big babies. He's big for his height as well so I think that contributes to him being bigger. ‌ "Ever since the second day in the hospital he has eaten more than the average baby - doctors always told me he was eating a little bit more than the normal baby, which is fine they said." Maci says Gunner is in the 100th percentile for his weight and the 90th percentile for his height. ‌ The hospital lab worker says she was surprised by some of the reaction and pointed out that she didn't see how it could be cruel to feed a baby when they are hungry. Maci said: "It made me upset to realise that there are people like that in this world that feel so comfortable saying these things about a baby. That's just so sad to me and I would never want people to say things about him like that. "I thought that people would think it was cute if they saw it, but I didn't realise how horrible people can be. I don't know how it's cruel or abusive that I feed him whenever he's hungry. I feel like it would be abusive if I didn't feed him when he was hungry and crying. ‌ "Like the doctor said, he's perfectly healthy and has no problem with his weight." Since sharing the clip online, the video has gone viral, racking up more than 20 million views, likes, shares and comments. ‌ Some users were quick to criticise Gunner's size in the comments, labelling it "child abuse". One user said: "Absolute unit, he has booked in to put my new windows in next week." Another wrote: "This should be child abuse." A third added: "Girl the box your supposed to use is baby formula not mass gainer." Other social media users defended Gunner's size, calling him 'cute' and many predicted that his size now is simply a good indicator that he will be tall when he gets older. ‌ One user wrote: "The amount of people who are calling a BABY fat. He's got the chunk because he's going to be tall. It's kind how it works. They gain a lot of 'chunk' and shoot up. It's literally how kids grow. Another added: "Chat he is healthy. That is all that matters. Yes he's a big baby but if you're so bored that a baby bothers you then something is clearly wrong, not with the baby, with you." A third person said: "I love chubby little babies so much! The chunky little rolls look at his squishy little face! From Lorde to Addison Rae, it appears the summer's biggest stars are promoting a more natural look. Now it begs the question: are we in for a makeup-free movement? ‌ Leading the charge is Pamela Anderson, former Baywatch bombshell, who has been making headlines for her revolutionary new look, donning a completely natural face. The 58-year-old was once known for her bouncy hair and intense smoky eyes. However, now she's sporting a much more pared-back look to major events, including the 2025 BAFTAs. ‌ In a recent interview with How To Fail podcast, she told host Elizabeth Day: '[I'm] not trying to chase youth.
