OGC Nice's Marcin Bulka unenthused by Galatasaray move
Marcin Bulka (25) looks highly likely to leave OGC Nice this summer. The Polish goalkeeper, a key player for Le Gym over the past two seasons, has been in talks over a contract renewal. However, towards the start of last season, those talks hit a brick wall. There has been a deadlock ever since, and there is little optimism over a renewal of talks.
Determined not to lose him on a free next summer, Nice are looking to sell Bulka during the ongoing transfer window. Initial interest in Le Gym's No.1 has come from Turkey and more specifically from Galatasaray, according to a report from L'Équipe.

However, the publication understands that Bulka himself is not particularly enthused by a move to the Turkish club, even if they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season. Galatasaray would be willing to spend €20m on the goalkeeper. Local rivals AS Monaco have also been cited as a potential destination by Foot Mercato.

Mallorca star agrees terms with Nottingham Forest
A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca has agreed to the terms of a contract with English side Nottingham Forest. That's according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Pablo Maffeo as the player in question. Advertisement Stopper Maffeo is for his part fresh off a campaign which saw him continue to play a leading role in the colours of Mallorca. All told, the 27-year-old racked up 28 La Liga starts, chipping in with a pair of assists along the way. And Maffeo's impressive form across these outings, evidently, did not go unnoticed in the Premier League. This comes amid confirmation on the part of the aforementioned El Chiringuito TV that the right-back is the subject of an approach from Nottingham Forest. Maffeo, it is understood, has already found an agreement on the terms of a long-term deal to take his talents to the City Ground. Advertisement Not only that, but Forest have tabled a €6 million offer for his signature. It now remains to be seen if as much proves sufficient to coax Mallorca into a sale. Conor Laird – GSFN

Garnacho's Exit Hints Mirror a Long List of Players Who Forced a Transfer
Garnacho's Exit Hints Mirror a Long List of Players Who Forced a Transfer originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Within the last year, Alejandro Garnacho has shown a striking level of disrespect to the Manchester United hierarchy. Advertisement Three times he's liked social media posts critical of the manager and/or another player. Following the Europa League loss, he openly questioned the team selection. And then in the biggest display of petulance yet he posted a picture of himself on Instagram wearing Marcus Rashford's Aston Villa Shirt. But Garnacho is far from an outlier when it comes to pushing for a transfer. In the age of Social Media, it's easy to publicly vent frustrations. Dislike and Unsubscribe Rashford fueled the situation further by liking Garnacho's post. That came on the back of very public fall-outs with managers Erik Ten hag and Ruben Amorim. Advertisement Meanwhile, in 2023, after only six months at Brighton, Moises Caicedo took to Instagram with a message trying to convince the club to sell him. He was banned from the club's training ground for a eventually got his way and sealed a record-breaking move to Chelsea. One Strike and You're Out There's a star studded list of players who have taken the most extreme action - refusing to play - and it usually works. Whilst at Chelsea, Thibault Courtois simply refused to show up to pre-season training, leaving the club little choice but to cash in and allow the goalkeeper to secure the move to Real Madrid that he craved. Advertisement In his desire to leave Leicester, with whom he had recently won the EPL, Riyad Mahrez went on strike not once, but twice until the club eventually relented and sold him to Manchester City where he added trophies galore to his collection. The list goes Nunez, Dimitri Payet, Luis Suarez, Laurent Koscielny, Marcos Tojo, William Gallas are among the others that either refused to play or in some cases even train. All rode bad press train for a while but eventually got the moves they craved. Kane and Unable It's not without risk with the most high profile example being Harry Kane. When Manchester City revealed their interest in Kane in 2021, the striker failed to show up for Spurs pre-season tour to try and force the move. But Chairman Daniel Levy stood firm and it would be another two years before he finally departed. By that time City had signed Haaland; Kane later left for Bayern Munich and missed out on the domestic silverware he had hoped for. Pogba aims to reboot turbulent career with Monaco move
Former France midfielder Paul Pogba has joined Monaco on a two-year contract in an attempt to relaunch a stellar career derailed by injuries and a doping ban. Monaco confirmed the widely expected transfer on the club website, and in a video posted on X, with the 32-year-old Pogba wearing the club's red-and-white jersey. The former Juventus and Manchester United player will play in the French top flight for the first time. Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 last season and Pogba, who has been without a club since leaving Juventus last year, will get the chance to play Champions League soccer again providing Monaco get through the qualifying stages. Pogba is home 😎Welcome Paul 💪 — AS Monaco EN 🇲🇨 (@AS_Monaco_EN) June 28, 2025 Pogba honed his technique in France at Le Havre's academy but signed with Manchester United at age 16 in 2009. Previously one of the world's top midfielders, Pogba made more headlines in recent years with his off-field problems. Last year, Juventus said it came to "a mutual agreement" with him to cancel his contract despite the 2018 World Cup winner having a ban for doping slashed. The Serie A club never seemed enthusiastic about welcoming him back after his four-year ban for doping was cut to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Pogba tested positive for testosterone in 2023 and was handed the maximum punishment by Italy's anti-doping court. CAS judges reduced it as they acknowledged a lack of intent and said his positive test was the result of erroneously taking a prescribed supplement. In 2016, Paul became the then most expensive soccer player in history when he returned to United from Juventus for a fee of $A178 million. He has played 91 times for France and scored in the World Cup final when Les Bleus beat Croatia 4-2.
