that exonerated all the accused in the
2008 blast case
as he claims that the case was a "conspiracy by the UPA government against Hindus".
"We will study the judgement in detail. Apparently, the way things are coming out...this was a conspiracy. We will not blame the police. The (then) UPA government had done this as part of a conspiracy. They had put pressure on the police (to implicate the accused). The UPA government coined 'Hindu terrorism- saffron terrorism'. This was a false narrative done during elections and to appease minorities," Fadnavis said.

"However, the RSS welcomes the recent proposal by the Kerala Council of Churches which has stood against forcible conversion. It is indeed encouraging to find some Christian bodies rising against conversion. The Sangh has been working on Ghar Wapsi to bring people back to their original faith. The efforts on preventing conversion are going well too," he said. Joshi said that neglect by a segment of society is also a driving force towards a change of faith, apart from poverty and lack of education. Bhopal: The former BJP Member of Parliament from Bhopal Pragya Singh Thakur criticised Param Bir Singh, the former Mumbai Police commissioner and Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer, calling him "a depraved and disgraceful officer who broke every law," Pragya Thakur, who was recently acquitted in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, while talking to reporters in Bhopal alleged that she was illegally detained and tortured for refusing to name senior BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders. The Bhopal MP further alleged that she was held illegally for 13 days, remained in police custody for 24 days, and was subjected to physical and mental harassment by ATS officers, including male personnel. She accused the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) govt of misusing investigative agencies to "create fear" and categorise Hindutva as terrorism.
