Olivia Munn voices frustrated at being blamed for Aaron Rodgers' difficulties
The Your Friends and Neighbours star dated the NFL player for three years until 2017 and she noted how she was often accused of negatively affecting his game.
Speaking to Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast, she said: "During the time that I was with him, he had three hail marys, I think two NFC championships—not wins—but he made it into the NFC championship, which is very hard.
"No one would want to talk about that. I didn't get credit for any of the wins."
And Olivia - who has Malcom, three, and nine-month-old Mei with husband John Mulaney - was also accused of being at the heart with Aaron's family rift, including tensions between him and his brother, former Bachelorette hunk Jordan Rodgers.
She said: "There's this whole big narrative that stayed with me for so many years, but there was just this dynamic in the family that had nothing to do with me.
"It became this whole big thing, and people were like, 'I can't believe her, she's keeping this family apart.' "
The 44-year-old star does know the source of the family tension but didn't feel it would be right for her to reveal the truth.
She said: "People have speculated for many years what was the rift, and I know, but I'm not saying because it's not my story to tell."
Aaron is typically very private about his personal life but confirmed in a book about his life that Olivia had "nothing to do with all the years" of "deep rooted" family estrangement.
And even if people don't believe she isn't to blame, the former Newsroom actress is just grateful that Aaron spoke out to defend her.
She said: "Thank God somebody had read it and said, 'Oh, wait! Aaron speaks.'
"You've been asking for the longest time. This is the constant conversation. The man himself is saying it. They don't want that answer.
"I was really grateful that he did that. Even if people didn't want to take hold of that statement, it made me feel good that it was said."

Brad Pitt's ‘biggest regret' revealed after settling ‘toxic' Angelina Jolie divorce: report
Don't miss out on the headlines from Celebrity Life. Followed categories will be added to My News. Brad Pitt has a new outlook on life following his divorce from Angelina Jolie. The F1 star, who recently opened up about life's 'struggles' during the latest episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, wants to move forward and put the past behind him. 'The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years,' a source told Us Weekly of his split from the Maleficent star. 'He loved her and he knows he made mistakes.' 'It was such a divisive, toxic situation,' the insider added of their divorce that took eight years to finalise, per Page Six. Jolie and Pitt in 2008. They split in 2016 but only finalised their divorce recently. Picture: Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Pitt and Jolie started dating in 2004. They tied the knot 10 years later, but the marriage only lasted two years. Throughout their 12-year romance, they expanded their family and now share six children together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Following the split, however, Pitt's relationship with his kids became strained as he and the Girl, Interrupted actress spent years fighting over custody. The events surrounding their split — like the 2016 plane incident and his battle with alcoholism — 'turned the kids against him.' However, Pitt 'doesn't blame [Jolie] for everything,' the insider said. Pitt also hopes to make things right with his kids. His 'biggest regret is he can't repair this,' the source revealed. 'The case is over but there are no winners.' 'To have that behind him is a relief. But on the other hand, it's been hard for him because he doesn't have a great relationship with his kids.' The actor is now dating Ines de Ramon. Picture:Since the split, Pitt, 61, has been working on his sobriety and it has reportedly changed his perspective on life. 'Ever since he stopped drinking, everything has changed,' the insider said. During a June appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Pitt told listeners that he went to AA meetings while 'pretty much on [his] knees' and needing to 'wake the f**k up.' The Golden Globe winner recalled, 'I was trying anything and everything, anything anyone threw at me. … It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting.' However, Jolie, 50, 'is still not in a place where she is going to forgive him or ever will,' the insider told Us Weekly in their report published on Thursday. The insider explained that Pitt, who is now in a serious relationship with Ines de Ramon, is 'relieved that this [divorce] is over.' Still, 'the lasting impact is something he's going to live with forever.' A rep for Pitt did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise backed out of starring in Ford v Ferrari together
Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise opted out of starring in Ford v Ferrari after the Mission: Impossible star realised he wouldn't be "driving much". The 61-year-old actor has been on the track for his role as Sonny Hayes in F1 but explained that he was due to collaborate with Cruise on the 2019 sports film about the battle between the two car manufacturers at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans race before his fellow star went cold on the project after discovering that his character - car designer Carroll Shelby - wouldn't be getting behind the wheel. Brad told The National: "Tom and I, for a while there, were on Ford v Ferrari with Joe (Kosinski, to direct). This was about 10 years before the guys who actually made it - and made it a great movie. "What it came down to is that we both wanted to drive, and he wanted to play Shelby, and I wanted to play Ken Miles. And when Tom realised that Carroll Shelby would not be driving much in the movie, it didn't come through." Ford v Ferrari eventually came to fruition with James Mangold directing and Matt Damon and Christian Bale portraying Shelby and Miles respectively. Pitt and Cruise haven't worked together on the big screen since the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire but the World War Z star is open to collaborating with the film icon again - as long as he doesn't have to do any crazy stunts. Speaking to E! News, Pitt said: "Well, I'm not gonna hang my a** off airplanes and s*** like that. "So when he does something again that's on the ground [then yes]." Meanwhile, Pitt is open to the possibility of an F1 sequel but said that he "would want to drive again, selfishly speaking". He said: "F1 is still the focus. It needs to be on Joshua Pearce - Damson Idris' character - and the rest of the team fighting for a championship. Where does Sonny fit in? I'm not sure. "Sonny's probably out on the Bonneville Salt Flats, setting speed records or something like that. So I'm not sure beyond that, just yet." Pitt has previously starred in the sports genre in the 2011 movie Moneyball - in which he played baseball revolutionary Billy Beane - and says they are his favourite type of film. He told NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast: "I love a sports movie when they work... It's the greatest. I look back at Gene Hackman and Hoosiers and (Robert) Redford and The Natural, there's even something more. Sports for me, even one game is an entire lifetime." Pitt added to the Kelce brothers - who have both won the Super Bowl in the NFL: "We watch you guys, we watch your fate. We watch how you deal with adversity, how you fight through it and it's really an amazing metaphor for a lifetime."

Olivia Munn speaks out about her experiences filming The Newsroom
Olivia Munn has spoken out about her experiences filming The Newsroom, alleging repeated creative clashes with a director on the HBO series led to professional conflicts on set — and attempts to derail her career afterwards. The 44-year-old actress discussed the situation during an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, in conversation with host Dax Shepard. Oilvia, who starred as financial reporter Sloan Sabbith in the Aaron Sorkin–created series from 2012 to 2014, said tensions escalated during the second and third seasons, particularly as her character became romantically involved with Don Keefer, played by Thomas Sadoski, 48. The star claimed the director repeatedly pressured her to play the romantic arc from Sloan's perspective only. 'The director kept trying to force me to carry that storyline only on my side,' she said – adding: 'I'm in the middle of working and I've got this new Bloomberg machine, and I'm so excited, and he's like, 'Can you look out at him and smile?' 'And I'm like, 'Why? She's busy doing this.' Or, 'Can you stop and snuggle up to him or flirt with him or can you give him a kiss?'' A particularly contentious moment occurred, Olivia said, when her character discovered Don had committed insider trading using confidential information she had shared. 'I was like, 'Are you f****** kidding me? This is insane,'' she recalled. According to Oilvia, the director disagreed with her interpretation and insisted Sloan should find the situation 'kind of funny'. The conflict culminated in a standoff during filming. 'There was one scene, and I was like, 'No. I'm not doing (that),'' Olivia said – adding: 'And he said, 'Look, it's my job as a director to see all the different colours of the rainbow and you are looking at only one colour, and I don't think you realise how you're coming off.' 'And I said, 'How am I coming off?' And he said, 'Really forceful and strong.' 'And I said, 'Great. That's what I wanted.' And I walked away.' Despite intervention from a producer about the visible tension on set, Olivia said she stood her ground. 'I just fought back so much,' she said. 'I'm still happy about that.' Olivia also alleged the same director later attempted to damage her professional reputation. She said: 'I was on the one-yard line for a movie role when I got a call from my manager, who said, 'Hey, you're gonna get the role. 'But first, I guess there's another director who they know and he says that on The Newsroom, you were late all the time and really combative.'' Olivia denied the claims, saying she lived 'seven minutes' from set and 'was never late'. 'He just was trying to bash me,' she said, adding: 'And I told my reps, 'Please tell the directors this.' And then I still got the role.' Olivia also said the incident has remained with her, adding:. 'Just because of our conflicts of how we approached a role, he wanted to ruin my chances of getting anything else.'
