Report – Sarri Sanctions Midfield Swap Deal Between Italian Internationals With Inter Milan
Maurizio Sarri is ready to green light Lazio moving for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, even allowing Nicolo Rovella to go the other way.
This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInter1908.

Coach Maurizio Sarri wants to change things up at Lazio as he prepares for his second spell on the bench at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Il Messaggero, one priority for Sarri is to add more goals from midfield.
That is one area in which the Biancocelesti were certainly lacking last season.
Therefore, Il Messaggero reports, Sarri has made Davide Frattesi a major target. One thing the 25-year-old does not lack for his goals from midfield.
Last season Frattesi scored seven goals for Inter – even without being a regular starter by any means.
Sarri Sanctions Lazio To Make Frattesi – Rovella Swap Deal

So much of a priority target is Frattesi for Sarri that he would even be willing to make a big sacrifice to sign the former Sassuolo midfielder.

According to Il Messaggero, the coach would be willing to lose midfielder Nicolo Rovella.
And as it happens, Rovella is a major target for Inter. The Nerazzurri are preparing for the possibility of life without Hakan Calhanoglu – and Rovella is a major target to replace the Turk.
Therefore, Inter would certainly be willing to listen to offers for Frattesi including Rovella.
Inter are undoubtedly willing to part ways with Frattesi. The Italian international had already reportedly pushed for a transfer in January.
And so if Frattesi can be used to dramatically lower the asking price for Rovella from his €50 million release clause, Inter certainly won't be opposed to the idea.
The biggest obstacle to such a deal, however, could be wages. Frattesi earns €2.8 million net per season at Inter, whilst Rovella earns just €1.7 million net per season at Lazio.

Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney Get Friendly at Jeff Bezos' Wedding in Venice: Report
Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney Get Friendly at Jeff Bezos' Wedding in Venice: Report originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Former superstar NFL quarterback and Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has been single for a while now, and he is apparently enjoying his no-strings-attached relationship status at the celebrity wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his new wife Lauren Sanchez in Venice. TMZ reported on Friday, June 27, that Brady is in attendance and has been "chatting up" Hollywood leading lady Sydney Sweeney -- one of the biggest movie stars in the world who also happens to be 20 years Brady's junior. We've learned the most hopping place in the Floating City is The Gritti Palace, a landmark waterfront hotel where a collection of Jeff and Lauren's most famous friends are staying -- and it's the place to be for wedding guests looking to party. Sources who are there tell us Tom [Brady], Leo [DiCaprio], Orlando [Bloom], Sydney [Sweeney], Jerry Seinfeld, Charissa Thompson and the Kardashians are all staying at the Gritti, and [Sweeney] is the 'center of attention' for single guys, including [Brady]. We're told the gang's been hanging at the hotel bar, partying and dancing, and [Brady] is taking center stage as the life of the party -- even spending some time chatting up [Sweeney]. TMZ's report didn't include any further details about the interactions between Brady, 47, and Sweeney, 27, other than to say the following: "While the Gritti is crawling with hot ladies, we're told this has become more about the guys bonding with each other than trying to hook up with women," TMZ story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 28, 2025, where it first appeared.

Ex-Juventus president Andrea Agnelli seeks plea bargain deal in false accounting case
ROME (AP) — Former Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has requested a plea bargain deal that would give him a 20-month sentence in a false accounting trial that contributed to his downfall at the record 36-time Serie A champion. Former Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved requested a deal of 14 months and former Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici and chief legal officer Cesare Gabasio each requested 18 months. Prosecutors began investigating in 2021 whether Juventus, which is listed on the Milan stock exchange, cashed in on illegal commissions from transfer and loans of players. The case has also explored whether investors were misled with invoices being issued for non-existent transactions to demonstrate income that in turn could be deemed false accounting. A decision in the case, which was moved from Turin to Rome, is expected in September, a preliminary judge announced Friday. The case prompted Agnelli and Juventus' entire board of directors to resign in 2022. Agnelli was then given two separate bans by sports authorities, the last of which expires in October. Juventus was hit with a 10-point penalty in the 2022-23 season and then removed by UEFA from the Conference League for financial irregularities. If the plea bargains are accepted in September, it could be the final step in the false accounting legal cases at Juventus and set up Agnelli's possible return to soccer after his sports ban expires a month later. ___ AP soccer: The Associated Press Error in retrieving data Sign in to access your portfolio Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data
