Alabama football 2025 season preview, predictions: Parker Brailsford
A returning starter along Alabama's offensive line, Brailsford is back for year two in Tuscaloosa this fall, entering the campaign as one of the top centers in all of college football.
One of the players who followed Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer from Washington, Brailsford also returns to Alabama after turning down the NFL draft this past offseason, and as a result, is likely now set for an even better 2025 campaign compared to what was already a strong season a year ago.

Brailsford's 2024 season was his first at Alabama after transferring from Washington. A year ago, Brailsford started all 13 games for Alabama at center.

Coming out of high school, Brailsford was considered as the nation's No. 522 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class out of Saguaro High School in Arizona, where he was also ranked the state's No. 8 player. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Brailsford, a three-star prospect, was also considered the nation's No. 23 overall interior offensive lineman in the class prior to attending Washington.
Before coming to Alabama, Brailsford was considered by 247Sports as the No. 22 overall prospect in the transfer portal last offseason, as well as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman. Rated as a four-star prospect, Brailsford also committed to Alabama in Jan. 2024.

As we enter the fall, Brailsford's role for Alabama in 2025 is a given.
The redshirt junior is cemented as Alabama's starting center entering the season, and barring injury, will remain in that spot throughout the year. Only weeks away from the start of the 2025 college football season, we now know just where the Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked to begin the year. Released on Monday afternoon, Alabama was ranked as the nation's No. 8 overall team in the 2025 preseason US LBM Coaches Poll, which was the third-highest ranking of any SEC team. Seahawks rookie DB Nick Emmanwori continues to dominate training camp
The Seattle Seahawks just wrapped up another intense week of training camp practice. Saturday's session was held at Lumen Field for their annual Football Fest event. The main takeaway from another week of practice is that rookie defensive back Nick Emmanwori continues to dominate. Emmanwori had an interception at Friday's practice. The second-round rookie out of South Carolina spun the football in celebration, and teammate Devon Witherspoon joined the festivities by kicking the ball into the crowd, per Ari Horton. Emmanwori had three interceptions last week, and this one came during a crucial redzone period. Emmanwori continues to make game-changing plays. He's arguably been as consistent and impactful as any player at Seahawks training camp. Head coach Mike Macdonald continues to find creative ways to implement him on his first-team defense. "We keep giving him stuff and he keeps executing," Macdonald said. "You have to be careful that you don't take the playmaker out of the player. That's something that is on my mind. He just keeps learning and keeps executing and keeps making plays. He's just a really fun player to coach." USC continues to grow 2026 recruiting class, lands four-star OL Breck Kolojay
USC football already has a loaded recruiting class in place for the 2026 cycle. By no means does that suggest the Trojans are done adding to it. On Friday, USC picked up another big-time commitment, landing four-star offensive lineman Breck Kolojay. Kolojay is originally from Littleton, Colorado but attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 325 overall player and the No. 21 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2026. 'Just the trust I have in the staff and what they are building, and the people they are bringing in, it's all really special,' Kolojay told 247Sports. 'I think all of the people in the building will play a huge part in my success and development. The opportunity to play in Los Angeles, and in the Big Ten, alongside players I haven't played with in a while and guys I'm playing with now, it's an opportunity. I couldn't say no to.' Kolojay is a big get for new USC offensive lineman coach Zach Hanson. The Trojans have struggled with o-line recruiting in particular for the better part of a decade now, but are doing much better at the position with the 2026 class. USC has built up a ton of momentum on the recruiting trail during the offseason. Now it is up to Lincoln Riley and the coaching staff to carry that momentum with them into the field this fall.
