50 Cent Denies Assisting JAY-Z's Alleged Son With Paternity Case: 'Keep My Name Out Of This Sh*t'

Yahoo4 days ago
One thing about 50 Cent, he proudly takes ownership for whatever vindictive moves he makes as Hip-Hop's biggest villain. Thus, it came as no surprise that the 50-year-old rapper recently denied assisting Rymir Satterthwaite, Jay-Z's alleged son, with his decades-long paternity case.
A YouTube account that brands itself as revealing, 'the truth behind celebrity drama, family secrets, and industry moves you were never meant to see' claimed that the G-Unit leader, 'personally reached out to Rymir and offered up his powerful legal team.' Fif caught wind of the accusation and addressed it via Instagram.
'Yo I never met this kid and I'm not helping him with anything,' he wrote in a now-deleted post. 'Keep my name out of this [sh*t] please.' The 'In Da Club' rapper never shies away from commenting on people's business, and has proudly been a thorn in Hov's side for years, so this type of act could be easy to pin on him. However, the Power executive producer is not willing to let that narrative fly.
Satterthwaite, currently 31 years old, has been pursuing the Brooklyn rapper for decades, claiming that he was involved with his mother in the 90s, which led to his conception. Weeks ago, US Weekly obtained court documents revealing that Hov's legal team called Satterhwaite's lawsuit the latest effort in a 'decades-long harassment.'
Satterthwaite has held firm and even accused the '99 Problems' rapper of attempting to suppress him from telling his truth. He claims Jay has taken advantage of the legal system to evade being held accountable.
The Roc Nation leader has denied paternity in a variety of ways, namely via song. 'Billie Jean in his prime/ For the thousandth time, the kid ain't mine/ Online they call me Dad, kiddingly/ You're not supposed to take this Dad thing literally,' he rapped on 'Heard About Us' from his 2018 collaborative album with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love. NFL suspends Vikings' Jordan Addison for 3 games over DUI case

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was suspended for three games by the NFL on Tuesday for violating the league's personal conduct policy for a drunken driving case last year. Addison avoided a trial by pleading no contest to a lesser charge last month, after facing two misdemeanor DUIs for his arrest on July 12, 2024, when a California Highway Patrol officer found him asleep in his vehicle that was blocking a lane on an interstate exit near Los Angeles International Airport. Addison will be permitted to practice and play in exhibition games before the suspension kicks in for games against Chicago, Atlanta and Cincinnati. Addison, the 23rd pick of the 2023 draft, has 19 touchdowns and 1,786 receiving yards in his first two seasons to form a dominant duo with two-time All-Pro Justin Jefferson. But he was arrested for excessive speeding the week before training camp of his rookie year, and the drunken driving arrest last offseason came after another dangerous off-the-field decision. Addison was contrite and remorseful upon reporting to training camp last year, praising the Vikings for their support after he said he was in a 'dark place' after the arrest. Without Addison for the first three games, new starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy will need to lean on depth wide receivers such as Jalen Nailor, rookie Tai Felton and newcomer Rondale Moore if he's ready to play following his ACL rehabilitation. Tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Josh Oliver and running back Aaron Jones also figure to be vital options during Addison's absence to help keep defenses from keying more heavily on Jefferson than they already do. Addison, who finished his college career at USC after starting at Pittsburgh, matched Odell Beckham Jr. for the fourth-most touchdown receptions in league history by players before their 23rd birthday. Randy Moss (28), Rob Gronkowski (27) and Ja'Marr Chase (22) were the only ones with more. ___ AP NFL:

The Internet Dropped These Absolute Treasures This Week, And I'm Literally Obsessed With Every Single One

What you're about to read is an issue of the Only Good Internet newsletter, which brings you the funniest, weirdest, and most interesting content from around the internet, no doomscrolling required. Subscribe here and you'll get the web's best stuff in your inbox every week! Welcome to Only Good Internet, where — like a Starbucks barista with brainrot — I serve you a delicious mix of internet content. You might be familiar with the subreddit r/MovieDetails, in which people share little details and Easter eggs from their favorite movies. It's fun! But what I really want to share with you is its evil twin, r/ShittyMovieDetails, which makes me laugh just about every time it pops up in my feed. What's it about, you ask? Well, as the name implies, it's movie details, but shitty. For example: It's true, they were! Related: This one's great: And I know we like to avoid politics here, but this one's a bipartisan issue: Just an excellent joke, TBH. And finally, sometimes the details just raise really good questions: Because really, WTF was up with that, Coop? Related: …That in English, we do this: I love when you discover the reason behind something that you always just kinda knew about your language, and it's like your brain just goes, 'Oh!' (Of course, this might be an English-specific phenomenon, because our language usually feels like it's just based on vibes.) There's this one, too: That's OSASCOMP for short. Related: Basically, I'm always impressed by ANYONE learning English as a second language, because it seems like it would be impossible. There are many things I love about this image — the tiny, rabbit-sized bed, the look of quiet satisfaction on the rabbit's face — but for some reason the use of 'chuffed' is just the cherry on top. Proper chuffed, even! Do you ever stop to think about how the advancement of technology is making us safer and improving people's critical thinking skills? Yeah, me neither: I mean, I guess this is a great way to catch terrorists who are stuck in some kind of Liar Liar situation because their son made a wish on his birthday cake. Related: I always like to finish every week by leaving you with a little something that I can't get out of my head. This week, it's all about pigeons: — Code switching as a toddler? — This is cool as hell — Strangers naming people's pets is so entertaining — That's it. That's exactly what it's like — I have not fact-checked this, but I SO hope it's true That's all for this week, see you later! And remember, if you want more like this, you can subscribe to the Only Good Internet newsletter (if you want, I mean, don't let me tell you what to do, ya know?).
