Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall collapses in supermarket as ‘hero' rushes to help

Metro13-06-2025
Hollyoaks star Tamara Wall has thanked a 'hero' supermarket worker for their assistance following a worrying incident.
The actress, 47, is best known as Grace Black on the Channel 4 soap, and is currently at the centre of a huge storyline.
The teens of the village, as viewers know, were targeted and groomed by Grace and sibling Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) on behalf of DI Banks (Drew Cain), manipulating them into a life of crime.
Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith), Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) were among those targeted, with Grace gaslighting and manipulating them into having sex with party-goers for cash.
In the aftermath of the shocking crime – and Banks' subsequent death – his grieving widow has arrived in the village.
And in a shocking twist, it's none other than Grace's estranged (and presumed dead) sister Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix).
This week, Tamara took to Instagram to tell her followers of a personal incident away from our screens.
While shopping in a branch of Morrisons, she became unwell and collapsed.
'Dear @morrisons I need you to know how amazing your staff in Warrington are!!' she wrote.
'This guy in particularly was my actual hero when I collapsed in their store, I cannot give enough thanks to all the staff for being so unbelievable lovely!'
After sharing a picture of herself alongside the store member, he reached out to offer his own kind words.
'It was my pleasure @tamarawall13 and I'm glad your ok' he commented.'

When is EastEnders on this week? BBC schedule twist confirmed

EastEnders fans may be very confused by this week's BBC schedules. Once again, the hit soap has been shunted to one side for sports coverage – with tonight's episode replaced by Wimbledon. Tomorrow, Match of the Day Live will follow Poland v Sweden in the Women's Euro 2025 tournament. It's something that enrages viewers each and every year, who call for the soap genre to be given special priority on the networks. After all, this isn't just something that effects EastEnders – both Coronation Street and Emmerdale are all over the place too. This week becomes even more confusing, as episodes will air on their usual days, albeit not on television. If you watch on BBC One, the next episode of EastEnders will air on Wednesday, July 9. A double bill will air from 8pm. If you can't wait until then, the first of these instalments is available to view now on iPlayer, and will continue to drop daily at 6am until Thursday. On Thursday and Friday, the show will broadcast at the earlier time of 7pm. Confusing, right?! If you're tuning in this week, you'll see Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) try and navigate his monetary woes in the wake of Bernie Taylor's (Clair Norris) departure. After she fled with cash from his business accounts, he's forced to return to drug dealing in order to keep afloat. More Trending Storing the stash in The Arches, it's not long until it goes missing! Elsewhere, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) meddles with son Peter's (Thomas Law) love life once again, suggesting that his fiancée Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is cheating with Zack Hudson (James Farrar). ‘Miss you' - Emmerdale star responds to Beth Cordingly as fans call for reunion

Former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope has been missing the joy that comes with working with Beth Cordingly. Lewis portrayed the role of Nicky Miligan from 2022-2024. He was initially introduced as a new nanny for the children at Home Farm. As time ticked on though, we discovered Nicky had an ulterior motive while working under Kim Tate's (Claire King) roof. It was confirmed he's the son of Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and the two of them were working together to destroy Kim and Home Farm. With Caleb being the son of Frank Tate, he believed he was entitled to everything that Kim owned. His plan proved the new character was utterly ruthless, as he forced Nicky to go ahead with wedding prep for him and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), despite knowing he was gay. Life for Caleb and Nicky got even more complicated when Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), Nicky's mum, arrived. At the time, Caleb and Ruby were in the process of getting a divorce, but Ruby struggled to accept their relationship was close to ending for good. Nicky departed the village last year alongside his new boyfriend. The dynamic between him and his parents completely crumbled when he learnt of Ruby's involvement in Ethan Anderson's death, and Caleb's attempt to cover it up. With the Miligan clan still at the centre of the drama in the village, plenty of fans are still hoping Nicky will return. And Lewis Cope is certainly missing life in the Dales, in particular seeing his co-star Beth Cordingly. Recently, Beth shared a video of her in Brighton. She is dressed in a scarf and two rubber rings as she wanders down one of the coastal roads. The clip has made plenty of her followers laugh including Lewis, who shared a 'Bonkers! Miss you x', message in the comments section. Ruby and Caleb's other child, Steph (Georgia Jay), arrived in the village towards the end of last year. In a powerful storyline, Steph discovered that her mum was sexually abused by her father Anthony Fox. The plot saw Steph determined to get plastic surgery, but it never worked. View More » She then contemplated self-harming, but was saved by Ruby and Caleb. Neighbours recasts major character for finale as huge return is confirmed

A Neighbours favourite is returning to Ramsay Street for one final time – but with a new face. As cast and crew gather at the cult Australian soap's studios in Nunawading, Victoria today to kickstart the last ever week of filming, the show has announced the return of Elle Robinson. Elle, the daughter of original character Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), originally appeared between 2005 and 2009, played by actress Pippa Black. The star reprised the role for guest stints in 2019 and 2022, the latter being for what was then intended to be the show's finale. However, with less than 100 episodes left to air, Elise Jansen will step into her shoes for what has been billed as a 'dramatic storyline'. This is Elise's third part in Neighbours, having appeared as Eden Hills student Alicia Berry in 2010, and as Erinsborough Hospital Doctor Erin Salisbury in 2012. A statement on social media this morning reads: 'Elle Robinson returns!' 'Now played by Elise Jansen, Paul's daughter will soon be arriving in Ramsay Street, but what's brought her back after all this time? 'Elle's dramatic storyline is set to take us right up to our nail biting finale…' Metro understands that Elle will play a key part in the community-based storyline that will bring faces past and present back together. 'Growing up, it was my favourite show,' Elise told the Sydney Morning Herald. 'And to think that now I've been able to be on it is quite extraordinary.' Elle, who was born off-screen alongside siblings Cameron and Robert, initially arrived in Erinsborough to reunite with her estranged dad. She soon began to lace Izzy Hoyland's (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) food with drugs, and shortly afterwards was involved in a plane crash that the residents boarded to Tasmania. Later, Elle supported Paul throw a brain tumour diagnosis and landed herself a role as a journalist, progressing her career to a lucrative position at the New York Times. It was from her new home that we last saw her, video calling the family to convince them that they should consider a move to the US. Three characters confirmed not to be returning are Scott and Charlene Robinson (Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue) and Mike Young (Guy Pearce). 'I haven't picked up the phone to [them] again,' executive producer Jason Herbison told Back to the Bay. More Trending 'I've left them alone, but it will be very similar in tone. I think it's a very warm, hopeful tone, but it's also a little bit different. 'There are things about it that I think might remind people of the previous finale, but it's also very different.' On Friday, cameras stopped rolling on Pin Oak Court, which doubles as the exterior of Ramsay Street. View More » Neighbours streams Monday to Thursday from 7am on Amazon Prime Video.
