The Gers hosted their Perth opponents that day in a match the home side won 3-1.
The goals for the hosts came from Hamza Igamane, Mohamed Diomande and Vaclav Cerny.
There was also a walkout by some fans in the 55th minute to signalise their unhappiness at the way the club was being ran under the old regime.
On Tuesday, Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Mackay was asked to leave the stadium which he did at 3.15pm.

Prosecutor Amanda Gallagher said: "While he was escorted, the steward felt a knife in Mackay's right trouser pocket."
The conversation was overheard by police officers who then attended.
He was subjected to a search and the knife was recovered.
Miss Gallagher said: "Mackay told officers that he had been at work earlier.

"He did appear to be at work as his trousers were covered in paint but he was also intoxicated."
Mackay, of Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to having a blade in a public place without a reasonable excuse or lawful authority.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Louise Arrol KC who continued Mackay's bail meantime.

'He had everything' - Joe Cole questions Chelsea letting England U21 star leave
Joe Cole has questioned Chelsea's decision to allow Tino Livramento to leave – and claims the full-back would get into Enzo Maresca's current starting XI. A breakdown in contract talks saw Livramento depart Chelsea's academy for Southampton in 2021, with the Saints seeing off strong competition from Brighton, AC Milan and RB Leipzig to sign the defender. Livramento quickly established himself as a first-team regular at St Mary's and his outstanding performances caught the attention of Newcastle, who captured the 22-year-old for a fee of £32million – plus £8m in add-ons – two years ago. In that time, Livramento has gone from strength under the tutelage of Eddie Howe and the youngster played a key role last season as the Magpies finally ended their 70-year wait for a major trophy by lifting the Carabao Cup. To cap off a memorable few months, Livramento added another piece of silverware to his collection on Saturday as the England Under-21 side successfully defended their European Championship title with a 3-2 victory over Germany in Bratislava. The right-back – who has been capped once at senior level – was subsequently named in UEFA's Team of the Tournament, along with five of his fellow countrymen in James Beadle, Charlie Cresswell, Elliot Anderson, James McAtee and Harvey Elliott. 'I watched him throughout the tournament and I coached him a few times at Chelsea. He was coming through when I was there,' ex-Chelsea and England winger Cole said of Livramento on The Dressing Room Podcast. 'He's a lovely lad, great ability. I remember doing a session with him on crossing and I was just trying to break down the three different crosses you would do. 'He had everything: big, powerful, great skill, great attitude. 'I was like, 'Once you get to the byline you've only got three options: you've got the dink to far post, you whip it across or you cut it back', and he did it on both sides, left and right.' Cole is unsure whether the new recruits Chelsea have brought in recent years have been an upgrade on 'top players' like Livramento and Lewis Hall, who left Stamford Bridge for Newcastle last year. He added: 'When we talk about the new model at Chelsea and we praise them… you've still lost Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall, another top player. 'I don't know how much money but they've gone out. Are the ones coming in [better]? 'Tino Livramento would get in Chelsea's team now I think.' According to Cole, Livramento would have had a strong case for the Player of the Tournament award had it not been for Elliott's heroics across England's triumphant campaign. 'He [Livramento] was absolutely brilliant,' he continued. 'If it wasn't for Harvey Elliott getting Player of the Tournament, he could have been in the running for it.' Cole's namesake, Ashley Cole, who was on Lee Carsley's coaching staff at the U21 European Championship, has been similarly impressed and tipped Livramento for a 'beautiful future' last month. 'He was in the U21s, in the reserve group at Chelsea. You always see the passion and level he could get to,' the legendary ex-Chelsea, Arsenal and England left-back said. 'I think him getting the opportunity at Newcastle and continuing to play first-team football gave him the belief, the confidence in his own ability. 'And of course, a manager that's trusted him to play at such a young age. I think he had quite a big challenge going to Newcastle, but he's developing into a top player. 'I think he's got a beautiful future, a bright future. Long may it continue that he keeps playing for Newcastle, keeps gaining experience and keeps his levels up.' Nasser Djiga in Rangers transfer ‘talks' as £10m Wolves man targeted for loan move
The Burkina Faso international could be the latest addition to Russell Martin;s squad as new boss ramps up transfer activity Nasser Djiga is in talks over a move to Rangers, according to a report. The Wolves defender is discussing a possible loan move to Ibrox, with the Express and Sta r claiming that the English Premier League club want the 22-year-old to play regularly in order to adapt to British football. Djiga arrived at Molineux from Swiss champions FC Basel in February this year for a £10million fee on a five-year deal, but has only played a handful of times. After time on loan with Red Star Belgrade and Nimes earlier in his career, Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is keen for the centre back to get some UK football experience under his belt at a decent level, and the chance to cut his teeth at Ibrox would seem to suit all parties. Russell Martin is actively working to bolster is defensive options, with former Wolves skipper Conor Coady close to sealing a switch from Leicester City. Djiga's move is said to be a straight loan with no option to buy, given Wolves' high hopes that he can come back ready to play top level football in England. ‘We understand the significance' – Celtic captain Callum McGregor says Hoops are driven to surpass Rangers' 55 titles
CELTIC captain Callum McGregor insists the Hoops squad don't need any reminding about the extra importance of landing this season's Scottish Premiership title. Having drawn level with Rangers' 55 top flight titles and added the Premier Sports Cup too, the Hoops know they can move clear of their deadly rivals for league trophies won in this coming campaign. 4 Callum Mcgregor Credit: Kenny Ramsay 4 Callum McGregor collects his silver medal Credit: Kenny Ramsay Having added the likes of Kieran Tierney, Benjamin Nygrem, Ross Doohan and Callum Osmand, they fancy their chances of picking up more silverware in the next 12 months. Their run of pre-season friendlies formally gets under way on Friday night against Queen's Park, but then it's onto a meeting with Cork City on Tuesday evening. Now, speaking to promote that match, McGregor said he needs no reminding about the importance of lifting the league title at the end of the campaign. He said: "For the players less so thinking about the numbers game, just can we win as many games and be the best team possible. "A byproduct of that was catching the 55 record. Everybody will be now thinking of surpassing that. "Every team starts at zero points and can we be the team that goes on to win the league again. "We understand the significance of that to the supporters. And to us, because we want to win, less so about the numbers." One man who clearly understands the significance of it all is Kieran Tierney - a man who came through the ranks at the club and has a habit of climbing into the crowd after victories league wins and cup finals with a megaphone. McGregor expects to see him around the weekend, saying: 'Yeah, he'll be back in Friday or Saturday, a couple of days left for him and we'll meet up then. "But I've obviously spoken to him quite a bit over the summer. The diggers move in as Celtic Park pitch is dug up "He's desperate to get back in and be part of the club and help the team, get back playing and ultimately try and drive the team to be successful again. 'Of course, I've spoken about this quite a bit. You need a lot of good senior players which is something that we've had here for a number of years. "We've a nice system in place and that will again be supplemented by Kieran coming back in, he's someone who knows the fabric of the club. 4 "He's someone who came right through the system, obviously done amazing the first time he was here and earned his move away. "Now he's decided now is the time to come back and we will have a hugely experienced player, who understands the club, will bleed green for the club and is someone who who will run through brick walls for us, so that can only be a positive thing. 'McGregor was a tough moment, there is no shying away from that, I think that just gives you more and more motivation to go and achieve even more. "I've always said in the past that it's the ones that you don't win are the ones that stay with you and fuel the fire, so a couple of weeks off to digest it and try and find a positive somewhere in it. "All it does is makes me more hungry to go and be successful to go and win even more." 4 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
