Emmerdale's Bear Wolf to exit ITV soap amid mystery plot
The loveable rogue is father to longstanding villager Paddy Kirk, and in recent months the pair have struggled in their relationship.
Now, an early release of today's (July 1) episode has confirmed that the character is leaving the Dales.
According to The Mirror, soap bosses had confirmed a departure would be on the cards temporarily as part of the "mystery" new storyline.

Recently, Paddy was seen confiding in Gabby Thomas and Marlon Dingle that he was worried his dad may have dementia.
And soap fans think it may be health-related, too. Taking to X, one said: 'What is up with Bear?
'I think brain tumour or similar that's why wants to go away for a couple of months?'
Another said: 'Bear seems to have very aggressive mood swings! The way he spoke to Paddy just now was vile.'
While a third added: 'Seriously what is wrong is with Bear?? #Emmerdale
'And Bear has probably sent Paddy's mental health back to square one after saying that.'
It is believed that Bear is off to stay with a friend in Ireland, as viewers will see tonight (July 1) how the storyline unfolds between the warring father and son.

Over the past two years, fans will have seen that Joshua, who plays Bear, has shed four stone in weight and reversed his Type 2 diabetes - going from 17 and a half stone to 13 and half stone.
"My health wasn't too good. And I was tucking into all the wrong meals from Emmerdale catering like lasagne and chips," he told The Mirror last month.

But with the help of his wife, Sarah, who he has been married to for more than 30 years, Joshua made positive changes to his diet.
He explained: "We read a book by Dr Meghan Rossi called Eat More Live Well - and that really helped me lose the weight.
"I don't exercise, because I have a bad back, so it's all through diet.'
Emmerdale will air tonight (July 1) on ITV1 at the earlier time of 7pm.
