AZ Martinez, River Joseph react to 'Beg Winner' tag
On Wednesday's episode of the reality series, Boy Abunda challenged the Big Four duos to face the opinions of the outside world about them.
For AzVer, he told them: "Tila mas nababagay daw sa inyo ang titulong Beg Winner rather than Big Winner dahil sa madalas n'yong pag iyak at pagiging overly emotional."
AZ and River said they were just showing who they really are and how they really feel.
"If being emotional affects other people, that's us being us. That's our true selves," AZ said. "And if people don't accept that, then that's OK. As long as alam namin naging totoo talaga kami at nasa puso talaga namin 'yung totoo."
"If we were emotional, if we were weak, that's what we were really feeling that time. That's us being real. That's us not hiding whatever we felt. And it's OK to be emotional," River added.
River also defended AZ from comments labeling her as "manipulative" and "backstabber."
"I personally never saw AZ as someone who is manipulative. AZ always says that she's someone who thinks a lot, who contemplates on her thoughts a lot, and sa pagiging backstabber, I think that's just her trying to clarify those thoughts to other people and to express what she's feeling inside," he said.
"But eventually, she will tell that person that she's having a problem with, straight to their face and talk about what their problem is and have that conversation with them and try to fix it afterwards," he added.
AZ later defended River over allegations saying that he's talentless and only made it to showbiz because he is rich and has connections.
"Ako I believe River did all the these through hard work. He went through the process of auditioning," she said. "I don't think it's from connections or anything, it's because of his talent talaga. Sobrang talented niya dito sa loob ng bahay, napapakita niya talaga," she said.

'I would like to take the opportunity to give a living testimony that God, only God, made me whole again. Not anyone, not the industry, but it was all in God's good grace and still is in God's good grace that I'm being made whole again,' she said. In the same interview, Snooky admitted that she had become arrogant at the peak of her career. 'For a long time, talagang it got into my head. Delusionally, I thought that, akala ko para bang I was just fighting for my rights o isang pained artist and I was fighting the system. Pero hindi. Let's call a spade a spade. Talagang it just all got into this head lang,' she said. She credited divine intervention for helping her regain humility. 'I praise God that He put me in my place. Ang daming nangyari sa akin na hanggang ngayon, nilalagay ako ng Panginoon sa lugar ko. That anytime, anytime, He can just take it all away. The oxygen in my lungs, everything around me, it's all temporary, so I have nothing to boast about,' she said. CharEs, RaWi, AzVer, and BreKa dedicated a few words for their fellow remaining housemates as the Big Night approaches. On Facebook, "Pinoy Big Brother" shared a segment hosted by the King of Talk Boy Abunda, where each of them shared a message for a housemate of their choice without revealing the name of the recipient. Snooky Serna admitted that she got infatuated with Gabby Concepcion in her younger years. The veteran actress made the revelation in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Thursday, where she looked back on their original love team and their dynamics now working together anew in GMA Afternoon Prime's "My Father's Wife." According to Snooky, Gabby never courted her back in the day, but she did get infatuated with him. "Na-infatuate talaga ako, Tito Boy. Sincere 'yan ah, nakakahiya sinasabi 'to pero totoo.
