
Multiple-vehicle collision after trailer loses control
Kuala Langat police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Mohd Radzi said in a statement today that all victims aged between 20 and 50 were unhurt.
He said in the 12.15 pm incident, a trailer travelling from Dengkil to Sungai Buaya is believed to have crashed into another trailer, causing it to hit other vehicles that were making way for a Proton Gen2 car to park by the roadside.
'Other vehicles hit were a Proton X90, Proton Persona, Proton Gen2, and a Toyota Alphard,' he said, adding that the trailer driver, in his 40s, holds a valid driver's licence and tested negative for drugs.
The case is classified under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving.
He urged the public with information about the incident to contact the investigating officer, Inspector Mazrol Mohd Din, at 011-18539115 or 03-31872222 to assist in the investigation.

Man killed after crashing car into 4WD making a turn near Kulai
KULAI: A 30-year-old man was killed in a crash after his car collided with another vehicle that was turning right into a junction. Kulai OCPD Asst Comm Tan Seng Lee said the incident occurred at around 7.30pm at KM57 of Jalan Johor Baru–Air Hitam (southbound) on Wednesday (July 30). "The crash is believed to have happened when the victim's car was heading straight from Simpang Renggam towards Kulai. "Upon reaching the location, the victim then crashed into a four-wheel vehicle that was being driven by a man who was making a right turn into a junction," he said in a statement on Thursday (July 31). The victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head injuries. 'Meanwhile, the 60-year-old driver of the other vehicle sustained only minor scratches on his head and hand. 'The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,' he said. Headmaster dies in Bera road accident, motorcyclist killed by falling tree
KUANTAN: The headmaster of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Durian Hijau in Jerantut was killed today when his car skidded off the road and crashed near SK Guai in Bera. Bera police chief Supt Zulkiflee Nazir said Mohd Sabri Bakar, 59, from Temerloh, was driving a Proton Preve to his brother's house in Kampung Guai when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle at about 6.30 pm. He died at the scene. 'Members of the public pulled the victim out before the car caught fire and was 80 per cent destroyed,' he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. In a separate incident, Zulkiflee said a 65-year-old motorcyclist, Kamar Seman, was killed when a tree fell on him while he was riding along KM34 Jalan Kuala Bera-Chenor around 7 pm.
