Nick Hogan emotional at WWE tribute to dad Hulk Hogan
The wrestling legend passed away last Thursday (24.07.25) after suffering a cardiac arrest aged 71 and during this week's episode of WWE's flagship show Raw, Nick Hogan, his wife Tana Lea and a number of superstars from the organisation gathered at the beginning of the programme for a 10-bell salute in honour of the Suburban Commando star.
As CM Punk, Gunther, Jey Uso, Iyo Sky and Dominik Mysterio gathered sombrely for the memorial, Nick could be seen wiping away tears as the episode,
WWE's chief content officer, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, also paid tribute to Hogan during the segment.
He told the audience: "He [Hogan] captivated millions of people and inspired them around the globe.
"We would not be standing here right now – all of us together – if it was not for him."
On Friday's (25.07.25), WWE's episode of SmackDown also featured a 10-bell salute to the former world champion, as well as a video highlights package of Hogan's lengthy career in the ring.
Over the weekend, Nick, 35, paid a heartfelt tribute to his dad and remembered him as his "hero".
He wrote on Instagram: "My dad was the most incredible person I've ever known and will always be my hero. He was the most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for. I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world. He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend. He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain.
"I thanked him for everything he has ever done for me and told him how much I loved him and hugged him every chance I got. I spent a lot of time with him the past few years after moving back to Florida to be closer to him and I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life."
Nick admitted that he'll miss his dad "forever".
He said: "I will always remember the lessons and advice he gave me and carry on in a way that I know would make him proud. Thank you for being the best dad in the world and thank you for being my best friend. I love you so much Big Dog and I will miss you forever. (sic)"

Hulk Hogan didn't meet his grandchildren prior to his death
Hulk Hogan never met his grandchildren before his death. The wrestling legend passed away aged 71 last month after suffering a heart attack at his home in Florida and his son-in-law Steven Oleksy has revealed that Hulk showed "no interest" in meeting his estranged daughter Brooke's twins Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene when approached following their births in January. Former NHL player Oleksy told People: "I sent text messages once again to kind of gauge where he was at, but there was no interest." Oleksy explained how he and Brooke moved from Michigan to Florida to be closer to Hulk - whose real name was Terry Bollea - as he "was getting older" and suffering with his health. He said: "She was there for every surgery leading up to the last two years. She would fly down on her own dime, take care of her dad, and it just made a lot of sense. "No one understood his body, procedures, medications and everything else more than my wife." Oleksy explained that the family will remain in Florida following the WWE icon's passing as the state has grown to feel like "home" for them. The ex-ice hockey star said: "We've built a beautiful life here together." Brooke, 37, posted a lengthy tribute to her father on Instagram earlier this week and used her post to "clear a few things up" regarding the pair's estrangement. The realty star wrote: "It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself." Brooke - Hulk's eldest child from his marriage to first wife Linda Hogan - added: "We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries…everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through. (sic)" She explained how the pair's relationship ultimately collapsed due to a series of "respectful disagreements". Brooke said: "He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit. Hulk Hogan 'devastated' by boos during final WWE appearance
Hulk Hogan was "devastated" when he was booed by the crowd during his final WWE appearance before his death. The wrestler - real name Terry Bollea - passed away on July 24 at the age of 71 just six months after he took to the stage at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California in January to make a guest appearance in Netflix's WWE series Raw - and now his his longtime friend and manager Jimmy Hart has revealed Hogan was surprised by the negative reaction from the crowd and it "bothered him". During an appearance on the Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw podcast, Jimmy explained: "We go out and we had a mixed reaction. You can have 500 people cheering you and one person booing you, but I'll be darned if that one person doesn't outshine [the people cheering]. "It's a mixed reaction, but it's a little bit more boos than anything. That devastated him." Jimmy suggested the crowd's reaction was linked to Hogan's support for US President Donald Trump after previously appearing at the Republican National Convention last year to back the reality star's to return to the White House. He added: "We got in the back and he said: 'What do you think happened?' I said: 'Hulk, it's simple, blue state, red state. Boom' ... "But that bothered him because of that ... Then the next week we're in Texas, and it's all cheers, you know, but that always bothered him. It sure did." Hogan's appearance at the event was part of the celebrations marking WWE's move to Netflix and he was seen ignoring the jeers and telling the crowd: "In the past, I've had a whole bunch of partners down the line. "I had incredible partners, like the Macho Man Randy Savage. I've had giant-sized partners like Andre the Giant. "But the greatest partner the WWE has ever had, is the fact that tonight, we're making history, and the WWE has tag teamed up with Netflix, the greatest tag team partner of all time." Hogan died in July after suffering an acute myocardial infarction - more commonly known as a heart attack - and documents obtained by the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column also revealed he had secretly battled cancer in the past. The publication reported Hogan had a history of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), a type of cancer affecting white blood cells, though this was never made public.
