Ronda Rousey has been missing from
WWE
for months, and fans can not help but wonder, will she ever come back? Known for her fierce presence in both UFC and WWE, Rousey was a star to step into a wrestling ring. But after her last match, she quietly took a backstep, leaving fans guessing about her
future
.
Now, after finally speaking up in a podcast, it seems her life has taken a new direction, one that has nothing to do with the ring.
Many people thought that with WWE's leadership changing, Ronda might return.
Triple H
and
Nick
Khan have taken over from
Vince McMahon
, and the company now has a different energy. Still, her recent words suggest she is not thinking about wrestling at all right now.
Ronda Rousey speaks her truth about life now
On the UNTAPPED podcast,
Ronda Rousey
gave fans a rare look into her life today.
She did not talk about championship dreams or future matches. Instead, she shared something much more personal, her journey through motherhood and what it's like to find herself again after becoming a mom.
'I am, like, deep in mom mode. I am not in the studio, you know. I'm working out in my garage, and I'm just trying to reclaim my body from motherhood.'
She went deeper into how that change has affected her:
'I'm just, you know, just trying to reclaim myself from—you know—this amazing thing that women's bodies are designed to do.
But it really does just like take you over entirely… you're left with what's left over, you're like, 'Oh my god, will I ever be the same again?' Or… the answer is no. But you could—you could be a new something.'
Ronda Rousey On What Made Her UNSTOPPABLE, Dana White & Why I Retired
Her words felt honest and emotional. They did not sound like someone planning a comeback. Ronda did not say the word 'retirement,' but it's clear she is enjoying this quieter, more personal phase of her life. For now, wrestling is not part of her daily world.
A legacy that still echoes in WWE
Even though Ronda Rousey has not been in WWE for a while, her impact is still felt. She first shocked fans at WrestleMania 31 in a surprise moment with
The Rock
. Her official debut came later in 2018 at the Royal Rumble, and from there, she rose fast. That same year at SummerSlam, she defeated Alexa Bliss to win the RAW Women's Championship.
FULL MATCH: Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey — SmackDown Women's Championship Match: SummerSlam 2022
Ronda also won the SmackDown Women's Title and the Women's Tag Team Titles. Her final match was against
Shayna Baszler
at SummerSlam 2023. Not long after, she posted on Instagram, suggesting she had quietly left wrestling.
Whether she returns or not, Ronda Rousey has already made her mark. Right now, she's on a different journey, and that seems just right for her.

WWE Night of Champions 2025 Aftermath: Randy Orton injury report after the gruesome King of the Ring final match

WWE Night of Champions 2025 was always going to be a dramatic show, and it main evented with the now well-past due King of the Ring match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Rhodes won, taking the King of the Ring title and a trip guaranteed at a world championship, but the focus soon turned to Orton with his health issues, and the Viper seemed to take a major injury to his back during the contest, setting the hearts of fans and WWE insiders a-flutter. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Medical concerns over Randy Orton's back injury Randy Orton sustained the injury early on in the match, immediately grabbing his lower back as he took a bad superplex from Orton. He was clearly in pain for the rest of the game, observers noted. This is especially horrifying because Orton just came back from being out of action for over a year with back problems. The signs of discomfort were clear in Orton's ability to move, but he was still able to wrestle through the match. During the second half of the match, he stayed away from high-impact moves and was also spotted speaking to referees on a few occasions. WWE has not confirmed this as of this writing, but backstage sources have indicated that he is likely being evaluated to assess the extent of the injury. There is also talk that the injury is somehow part of the storyline, intended to garner sympathy for Orton or to write him off television for a couple of weeks. But considering his actual history with neck injuries, fans are understandably worried this isn't just a work. The storyline impact and SummerSlam implications More than health issues that need a slew of treatment, the injury complicates WWE's larger story moving into SummerSlam. Before King of the Ring, Orton was seen as high on the list for a title push or major feud. Beyond himself, there's the prospect of the plans being affected for Cody Rhodes, who could have either faced him in a rematch or, perhaps, been involved in a tag-team twist. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Also Read: Even the conclusion of the match helped escalate the tension. Orton even tried to go for his former finisher, the Punt Kick, which WWE had stopped using due to it being too violent. But Rhodes replied, taking advantage of a spot where he had exposed the turnbuckle, and captured the victory. With Orton's wellness in question, all the fans have got WWE going through a huge decision. Will they embrace this injury to allow Orton's character to become an even more brutal version of The Viper? Or will these actual issues catch up to one of WWE's finest and afford them another extended time away from the ring? One thing is for sure—the WWE Universe has been left with plenty of questions and few answers in the wake of Night of Champions.

John Cena vs CM Punk - Undisputed WWE Championship The highlight of the night that everyone was waiting for came at the very end, when CM Punk and John Cena took the center stage. Seth Rollins and his newly formed stable entered the stage alongside Paul Heyman and everyone thought he would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. It was an all out chaos where no one was anyone's friend, and fans seemed bewildered. Penta shows up out of the blue, but Bron Breakker grabs him on the way to the ring.
