Anger as police officer in Sutton Coldfield parks on double yellows to get German Doner Kebab meal
The police officer is seen parking his patrol car right at the end of Holland Street, at its junction with the Parade where it meets Birmingham Road, in the centre of the town, on Tuesday (June 10) night.
He left his vehicle while he went inside German Doner Kebab (GDK).
The member of the public, who asked not to be named, said he and fellow customers at the Bottle of Sack pub opposite watched on as the officer parked illegally.

He said the officer 'left his car on double yellows for six minutes', shortly before 8.30pm.
And the pubgoer recorded the moment the officer returned with his GDK bag in hand, returning to the driver's seat, reversing a little before driving off.
The concerned witness said: 'Whilst sat having a drink in the Bottle of Sack on Tuesday evening I videoed a police car parking for on double yellow lines for six minutes, whilst the driver went into GDK for a kebab.
'This was also seen by everyone else in the pub."
He continued: 'West Midlands Police are asking for the public to upload videos like this on their Operation Snap pages showing driving offences so they can prosecute the driver.
'They even publish the results monthly. This is not setting a good example and a flagrant disregard for the law and other road users.
'It's also annoying that they don't have time to attend burglary or car theft incidents but can park up illegally for six minutes for a kebab.'
The force's Operation Snap urges those with footage of anyone committing driving offences on the region's roads to submit it and says every piece of footage will be reviewed by specially-trained staff.
The Highway Code says motorists should 'not park within 10 metres of a junction, except in an authorised parking space'.

It also says: 'Double yellow lines indicate a prohibition of waiting at any time even if there are no upright signs.'
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: 'We are grateful to have been shared the footage, which will be reviewed and dealt with by supervision.'

A major Birmingham city centre square was sealed off this afternoon, July 1, amidst reports of a suspicious package. West Midlands Police, British Transport Police and the Bomb Disposal Unit descended to the scene in Centenary Square in Birmingham just after 3pm. A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed: "We've currently got a cordon in place around Centenary Square, Birmingham city centre, while we investigate a suspicious package. "We were alerted just before 3pm, and a number of buildings have been evacuated as a precaution while it's assessed. Please avoid the area." Some vehicles were trapped in Brindley Drive, inside the cordon. One woman - a teacher - said she'd been in her car for an hour and 10 minutes and was due to head to take a lesson for Year Seven children but she couldn't get out. One man who was attending a conference within the library building said they were asked to leave. Our reporter described a "calm" atmosphere as workers awaited updates from emergency services. Pedestrian hit by bin lorry as driver speaks to police at scene
A man suffered potentially serious injuries after a collision with a bin lorry in Birmingham this morning, Monday, June 30. It happened at the junction of Aldridge Road and Holford Drive in Perry Barr at around 7.30am. A man in his 40s, was rushed to hospital. A police investigation was ongoing with road closures in place. A bin wagon was within the police cordon next to a police car. A police spokesman told BirminghamLive: "We were called to the junction of Aldridge Road and Holford Drive at around 7.30am to reports someone had been hit by a lorry. "A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries. "The driver stopped and spoke with officers at the scene. "Road closures remain in place as our investigation continues, and we would ask people to avoid the area." An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a lorry and pedestrian at the junction of Aldridge Road and Holford Drive at 7.25am. "One ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was the pedestrian. He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital." West Midlands Roads posted on X: "Due to congestion, the police have closed the right turn from the A34 onto Aldridge Road. "Traffic has to stay on A34 out of city. Avoid the area."

Police investigating after car crash closes Midlands road
Police have launched an investigation following a crash in the Black Country that closed a road. The smash took place on Long Lane in the Halesowen area of Dudley.
