Best Buy is now selling the Moto G Power (2025) mid-ranger at a lower than Prime Day price

Phone Arena3 days ago
Equipped with a 5,000mAh battery... like so many other mid-range devices on the market today, the latest addition to Motorola's popular Moto G Power lineup is arguably not as attractive or as impactful as older members of the same family. At the right price, though, the Moto G Power (2025) is undeniably still one of the best budget 5G phones out there, pairing that respectable aforementioned cell size with reasonably fast 30W wired and 15W wireless charging technology while rocking a stylish vegan leather finish and an almost surprisingly robust construction.
$50 off (17%) 5G, Unlocked, 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM, Android 15, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Processor, 6.8-Inch IPS LCD Screen with 2388 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, 50 + 8MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 16MP Front-Facing Camera, 5,000mAh Battery, 30W Wired and 15W Wireless Charging Support, IP68 and IP69 Water Resistance, Military-Grade Durability, Vegan Leather Finish, Two Color Options Buy at BestBuy Normally available for $299.99, the 6.8-inch Android handset with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processing power can now be purchased at a $50 discount in both "slate gray" and "leaf green" colorways. This somewhat random new Best Buy deal is curiously not matched by Amazon or Motorola's official US e-store at the time of this writing, also beating the only good past offer available exclusively for Prime members earlier this month.
It's obviously pretty unusual to see a better-than-Prime-Day deal offered so soon after Amazon's big summer event, especially with no special requirements and no strings attached whatsoever. Yes, you're looking at a fully unlocked phone here compatible with all major (and minor) US carriers, which our comprehensive Moto G Power (2025) review praised for its eye-catching design, silky smooth screen, and overall system performance. Of course, it would be nice if the 120Hz refresh rate-capable display used AMOLED technology instead of LCD, and the 50 + 8MP dual rear-facing camera system is not exactly... mind-blowing either. But it's not easy to find a handsomer, more powerful, and overall better-equipped product at $249.99 right now, with something like the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G costing significantly more than that and the OnePlus Nord N30 5G not looking... very fresh after a summer 2023 commercial debut.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE review

It's neither the Z Flip7, nor is it the Z Flip6 - Samsung's come up with a second-tier clamshell foldable in 2025 and the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE carries the 7 in the name, but is more like the 6 in most ways. No longer satisfied with offering a clamshell and a book-style foldable, Samsung is diversifying things by having two clamshells in addition to the Fold. A two Flips approach does seem to make sense - Motorola has had two Razrs in most markets, and competing at more price points is probably good for the bottom line. The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, in true FE fashion, comes with certain hardware concessions, though it's seemingly not as dramatic a downgrade compared to the 'real' model, as is the case with the S-series and their FEs. Indeed, this FE is more of a reissue of last year's model. The Z Flip7 FE reuses the Z Flip6's cameras, but then so does the Z Flip7. Unlike the Z Flip7, however, here we're looking at the same body as the 2024 model, same displays, same battery, same most things. Well, the chipset is different - an Exynos 2400, like some S24s had - and Samsung figured 12GB of RAM is too much for an FE, so it's 8GB instead. The Z Flip7 FE does start its life at Android 16, though, two more than the Z Flip6, so there's that. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE unboxing Little is different in the presentation on the Z Flip7 FE compared to the Z Flip7 or the Z Flip6. The phone comes in a slim-line graphite cardboard box, unfolded, face down. No charger is provided, but there's still a USB-C cable included - Samsung's basic 3A one, which won't be a bottleneck given the 25W charging rating. There's also a SIM tool tucked in there somewhere. Page 2

Tipster reveals when the Google Pixel 10 Pro will go on sale

Peter, 30 July 2025 Last week, Google revealed the designs of all four Pixel 10-series phones and the week before that it had already confirmed that the new series will be unveiled on August 20. That's the unveiling, but when will they be available for purchase? We were contacted by someone who works at a phone shop, claiming to have seen documents that state that the Google Pixel 10 Pro sale will go live on August 20. This might apply to the entire 10-series, though it might not – last year Google launched the vanilla and Pro XL models in August, then the small Pro and the Pro Fold in September. Given that the tip was specifically for the 10 Pro, we don't think that the 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will be split this time around. Whether the Pro Fold is ready in time is another question. We can't verify the claims of our tipster, but the information is not surprising either. Note that the August 20 date most likely refers to the start of pre-orders - Google should begin shipping pre-orders and kick off open sales of the new models several days after that. The Google Pixel 10 series Looking back at the 9-series, it was unveiled on August 13 and pre-orders for the vanilla and Pro XL models started immediately after the event. Shipping and open sales for those two started on August 22. Deliveries of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold were set for September 4 and open sales began the day after. If the Pixel 10 series follows the same timeline, pre-orders will start on August 20 and the first models will be shipping by the end of the month. Nine days later is August 29, a Friday. There's a good chance that the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a will follow the same timeline as the Pixel phones. For a preview of what to expect from the Pixel 10 quartet, check out this leak. Thank you to our anonymous tipster!
