Police are now investigating Bob Vylan and Kneecap's Glastonbury sets.
In what has been a fast-moving story over the past 48 hours, the local Avon and Somerset police force have just announced that they have opened investigations into both and have recorded the activity as a 'public order incident' for the time being.

'Video footage and audio from Bob Vylan and Kneecap's performances at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday has been reviewed,' said the police force in a statement. 'Following the completion of that assessment process we have decided further enquiries are required and a criminal investigation is now being undertaken. A senior detective has been appointed to lead this investigation.'
The force added: 'This has been recorded as a public order incident at this time while our enquiries are at an early stage. The investigation will be evidence-led and will closely consider all appropriate legislation, including relating to hate crimes.'
The police did not specify which part of Bob Vylan or Kneecap's set would be subject to the criminal investigation.
Punk duo Bob Vylan chanted 'death to the IDF' and complained about working for a 'f***ing Zionist.' Their live stream was not taken down from the BBC, which the corporation today said it 'regrets,' while the duo have since been dropped by UTA.
Kneecap were heard accusing Israel of genocide and chanting 'free, free Palestine,' while voicing support for Palestine Action, a protest group that the UK government intends to proscribe under anti-terror laws. One member of the Irish hip-hop trio is already bailed on a terror charge, while the group has just been let off after being investigated for calling for the death of MPs at a gig 18 months ago. Due to these concerns, Kneecap's set was not shown live on the BBC but uploaded to iPlayer afterwards.

You Can Stream the 1985 Live Aid Concert in Full on Its 40th Anniversary. Here's How

July 13, 2025, marks the 40th anniversary of Live Aid. The iconic charity concert was the brainstorm of rock legends Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for famine relief in Africa. Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia on July 13, 1985. Forty years later, fans can stream the entire concert at internet radio station or listen via Alexa, Roku, Live365, Audacy, or the 80s Central mobile app, reported. The Live Aid livestream will begin July 13 at 8 a.m. and will air commercial-free and in real time, just as it played out from both stadiums four decades ago. 80s Central program director Christopher Shaw said in a statement, "For 80s fans, this is the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and New Year's Eve rolled into one. Live Aid wasn't just a concert-it was our Woodstock. And here at 80s Central, we're honored to bring this historic day back to life." Back in 1985, fans clamored to get tickets for Live Aid. Longtime 93.3 WMMR radio personality Pierre Robert explained how the Philadelphia classic rock station covered the event. '[Concert promoter] Bill Graham took one look at JFK Stadium and said, 'What a f---ing dump,' he told Philadelphia magazine. 'So they asked for help cleaning it up, and I volunteered for a few days before the concert. And by doing that, I got an all-access pass to the show. WMMR didn't have the rights to the broadcast, so we were broadcasting outside in a Winnebago. It was the wildest f---ing thing.' The list of performers in Philly included Black Sabbath, Run–D.M.C., Judas Priest, Bryan Adams, The Beach Boys, Pretenders, Madonna, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Cars, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Patti LaBelle, and Mick Jagger and Tina Turner. In London, fans saw performances from The Who, Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Dire Straits, Paul McCartney, and more. Queen's 20-minute set is regarded as one of the best live concert performances of all time. In addition, Genesis frontman Phil Collins completed a major feat by performing in both London and Philadelphia on the same day, thanks to a quick trip on a Concorde. 'I'm very proud to be asked to do it,' Collins said in a backstage interview after his London performance. 'I mean because everybody's involved and, you know it's just great to be part of something like this.'You Can Stream the 1985 Live Aid Concert in Full on Its 40th Anniversary. Harry Styles Smooching On Mystery Woman At Glastonbury Has Fans Convinced He Has ‘A Type'

Harry Styles might have a new woman in his life! The English musician was spotted getting intimate with a mystery woman at the Glastonbury Music Festival over the weekend, sparking conversation about his love life. Styles' last public relationship was with actress Taylor Russell. The "Watermelon Sugar" singer and his new mystery woman stole the spotlight at the Glastonbury Festival when onlookers saw them locking lips. The smooching went down at the VIP section, where Styles and some of his pals partied during the early hours of the morning. A video obtained by The Sun showed the pair passionately kissing on the dance floor, barely taking their hands off each other for their 12-second PDA session. The duo, however, didn't come together for the festival. Sources say that the global pop star was already in the VIP section when his love interest arrived, and they remained "inseparable" for the rest of the night. A witness told the publication: "Harry turned up with a few of his mates, but as soon as she got there, they were almost inseparable. She kissed him on the cheek three times before he took her hand and led her to the dancefloor." While on the dance floor, onlookers say the "Don't Worry Darling" actor and his new woman kissed without concern for all the attention. "Just short of an hour after they arrived, they kissed in front of loads of other people and didn't seem to care who was watching," the source explained. The witness noted that Styles and his love interest "appeared to have known each other for a while" because of how familiar they acted with one another. Although the identity of Styles' lady friend remains unknown, the chemistry she shared with the 31-year-old was undeniable, says a witness. "Harry only had eyes for this woman, and sparks were flying as soon as they were together," The Sun reports. A video of the heated PDA session has since gone viral, and as expected, fans have the most to say. Some pointed out that the mystery woman bears a resemblance to his former flames. "He has a type," one fan observed, while another added, "She has curly hair. Black girls, we [are] up!" This user shared a similar sentiment, writing, "Once he went Black. He never came back." Others went as far as to guess the woman's identity as British singer Olivia Dean, who performed earlier at the Glastonbury Festival. "Is that Olivia Dean, or am I tripping? asked this user on X. Another fan then replied, "That is what I think too. Not the first festival they have been seen at together." Harry Styles' Glastonbury date is the first woman he has been majorly linked to since his breakup from Russell in May 2024. The Canadian actress and the singer were together for almost a year, but they called it quits following a trip to Japan due to a "rough patch." Before his short-lived relationship with the "Lost In Space" star, Styles was in a heavily publicized romance with Olivia Wilde. Their love affair reportedly began on the set of "Don't Worry Darling" in 2020 when Wilde cast the former "One Direction" member. However, attention from the gossip-fueled press tour reportedly strained things. Styles' other A-lister exes include Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, and Camille Rowe. While Styles' love life continues to make headlines, his career has been in a state of limbo. It has been almost three years since the release of his third studio album, "Harry House." Although the three-time Grammy winner hasn't teased a new project, he did surprise fans with a fashion drop in December 2024, following the death of his former bandmate, Liam Payne. The collection is a collaboration between his beauty and lifestyle brand, Pleasing, and British fashion designer JW Anderson. As The Blast reported, it includes a Bunch of Balloons cardigan, a semi-sheer shirt decorated with kaleidoscopic balloons, cozy crewnecks, and hoodies. Another highlight of the 12-piece collection is a revamped Bumber 15 bag in a green-black color scheme, featuring sparkly p-nis-shaped keyrings in purple and yellow. Items from the collaboration range in price from $20 to $990 USD.

Why did English punk duo Bob Vylan's visas get revoked by the State Department?

The State Department revoked visas for members of Britain's Bob Vylan punk-rap duo after they led chants during their set at the Glastonbury music festival in England over the weekend. The U.S. government and the BBC, which broadcast the event, said the language was antisemitic. "In light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants ... foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country," State Department Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau posted on social media on June 30. The BBC issued a warning on screen for strong language while the set was being streamed online, but it acknowledged that it should have gone further. During Bob Vylan's set, he led the audience in chants including "death, death to the IDF, "referring to the Israel Defense Forces fighting a war in Gaza. Law enforcement is investigating "comments made on stage" for possible public order offenses, including hate crimes, after reviewing video footage and audio from their performances, the Avon and Somerset regional police force told Reuters. Their lead vocalist, who goes by the stage name Bobby Vylan, appeared to refer to the weekend performance in a post on Instagram, writing: "I said what I said." "Teaching our children to speak up for the change they want and need is the only way that we make this world a better place," he added. Bob Vylan was scheduled to kick off a U.S. tour on Oct. 24 in Spokane, Washington, with gigs in Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, San Diego, San Antonio and Los Angeles, as first reported by NBC News.
