As an actor, we do a lot of screen tests. We did screen tests for 'Refugee' as well. In fact, my first ever screen test was with Bipasha. She was a model then. We both screen tested for 'Refugee'."advertisementAdding that he would get butterflies in his stomach before an audition, he said, 'It's the worst. I get very conscious because I'm somebody who I would like to believe is a director's actor. So I really heavily rely on the notes that my director gives me."He further praised casting professionals for their ability to spot potential in auditions. "I actually have a lot of respect for the directors and casting directors that can actually see a spark in an actor during an audition. Because I think every actor will tell you that the audition is not even one per cent of what they can possibly do. So it's a talent to spot talent, but yes, I am petrified of auditions."Abhishek Bachchan made his acting debut with JP Dutta's Refugee opposite Kareena Kapoor. The 2000 film received two National Film Awards - Best Music Direction (Anu Malik) and Best Lyrics (Javed Akhtar).- EndsMust Watch
