How former WWE star Torrie Wilson stays fit and sexy at 50 thanks to one simple secret

Daily Mail6 days ago
Former WWE star and Playboy cover girl Torrie Wilson is looking and feeling better than ever just days after celebrating her 50th birthday.
The blonde bombshell, who was one of wrestling's biggest sex symbols in the 2000s, said that she's embracing her age with complete confidence.
'I just want to continue being the most fabulous version of myself and that obviously changes over time, but I'm still focused on the glam, the strength, the sexiness, and just living life to the fullest,' she told DailyMail.com.
Torrie says that the secret to her flawless physique is strength training, which has been part of her fitness routine for decades.
'I've always been a weightlifter and I love working out, but I've had to change some of my workouts because things pop up as you get older,' she said.
'I've seen recently where some of my friends that are getting older, they have these injuries and they're like kind of just giving up on working out because they can't do what they used to do, and and I'm like, "Dude, you can't just stop!" You've gotta evolve.'
Torrie tries to work out five or six days a week, with lunges and leg presses being her go-to exercises in the gym.
'I love lifting heavy weights because as we get older we love muscle mass at a rapid rate, and to me, when you're frail, you're old, so I'm just building muscle for the next decades,' she explained.
The former fitness model says she isn't 'super restrictive' when it comes to her diet, and prefers to just focus on eating healthy and organic foods without overthinking it.
'When I was in high school I was anorexic and then bulimic for a short time, so I don't want anything to do with anything that's too restrictive,' she stressed.
'I basically just listen to my body and try to eat healthy instead of focusing on calories and all of that,' she continued.
'The biggest thing I focus on is just trying to get enough protein in the day.'
Fans can get a look at Torrie's gym results and a lot more on her Passes page.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently joined the subscription-based app, which has been billed as a PG-rated alternative to OnlyFans.

'What I love about Passes is that it gives me a chance to get to know my subscribers or fans better than on social media, where you have so much noise coming at you,' she said.
'I've had people come up to me and say, "You'd make so much money on OnlyFans!" But I don't wanna do anything nude and I feel like people expect [OnlyFans] to go there,' she continued.
'I love that Passes is a cleaner platform so people aren't gonna come on there expecting [nudity],' she added.
Torrie started out in wrestling in WCW, before joining to WWE in 2001 after the company bought out both WCW and ECW.
During her time at WWE, she become one of wrestling's biggest sex symbols and covered FHM magazine, as well as Playboy magazine twice.
For her second Playboy cover, she teamed up with fellow WWE vixen Sable, who she was in a memorable on-screen feud with.
Wrestling fans will also remember Wilson's iconic feud with Dawn Marie, which involved her real-life father Al playing himself on the show.
The 50-year-old shocked fans with her ageless appearance after returning to WWE screens for an appearance at the Evolution PPV (pictured July 13)
She also made several appearances on Project Runway and was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Wilson was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2019.
She recently returned to WWE for a brief cameo at the all-female Evolution PPV in Atlanta.
Viewers were blown away after seeing the bombshell back on screen, with one commenting, 'Everyone says Sofia Vergara hasn't aged, have you seen Torrie Wilson?!'
Another wrote, 'One of the hottest women to ever walk into the WWE. Good to see her back.'

Spike Lee, Adam McKay and over 2,000 writers decry Trump's ‘un-American' actions in open letter

More than 2,300 members of the Writers Guild of America, including Spike Lee and Adam McKay, have signed an open letter decrying the actions of Donald Trump's administration that represent 'an unprecedented, authoritarian assault' on free speech. The letter, a combined effort from the WGA East and West branches, cites the US president's 'baseless lawsuits' against news organizations that have 'published stories he does not like and leveraged them into payoffs'. It specifically references Paramount's decision to pay Trump $16m to settle a 'meritless lawsuit' about a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris. The letter notes that Trump 'retaliated against publications reporting factually on the White House and threatened broadcasters' licenses', and has repeatedly called for the cancellation of programs that criticize him. Additionally, the letter blasts Republicans in Congress who 'collaborated' with the Trump administration to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting 'in order to silence PBS and NPR'. And it says the FCC, led by Trump-appointed chair Brendan Carr, 'openly conditioned its approval of the Skydance-Paramount merger on assurances that CBS would make 'significant changes' to the purported ideological viewpoint of its journalism and entertainment programming. 'These are un-American attempts to restrict the kinds of stories and jokes that may be told, to silence criticism and dissent,' the letter reads. 'We don't have a king, we have a president. And the president doesn't get to pick what's on television, in movie theaters, on stage, on our bookshelves, or in the news.' Signees include Tony Gilroy, David Simon, Mike Schur, Ilana Glazer, Lilly Wachowski, Celine Song, Justin Kuritzkes, Desus Nice, Gillian Flynn, John Waters, Liz Meriwether, Kenneth Lonergan, Alfonso Cuarón, Shawn Ryan and many other prominent names in film and television. The letter, released on Tuesday, calls on elected representatives and industry leaders to 'resist this overreach', as well as their audiences to 'fight for a free and democratic future' and 'raise their voice'. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting announced last Friday that it would shut down after 57 years in operation, following the decision by the Republican-controlled House last month to eliminate $1.1bn in CPB funding over two years, part of a $9bn reduction to public media and foreign aid programs. The corporation, established by Congress in 1967 to ensure educational and cultural programming remained accessible to all Americans, distributed more than $500m annually to PBS, NPR and 1,500 local stations nationwide. Despite the federal grants, stations mostly relied on viewer donations, corporate sponsorships and local government funds to stay afloat. The Trump administration has also filed a lawsuit against three CPB board members who refused to leave their positions after Trump attempted to remove them. 'This is certainly not the first time that free speech has come under assault in this country, but free speech remains our right because generation after generation of Americans have dedicated themselves to its protection,' the letter concludes. 'Now and always, when writers come under attack, our collective power as a union allows us to fight back. This period in American life will not last forever, and when it's over the world will remember who had the courage to speak out.'
