Cindy Crawford jokes her daughter Kaia Gerber is 'traumatised' by her nude photoshoots and reveals she displayed them in her family home
The runway star, 59, was no stranger to a racy photoshoot in her 1980s modelling heyday and has posed nude countless times in her decades-long career.
However, she has now revealed what her children Kaia, 23, and Presley, 26 - who she shares with her husband Rande Gerber - think of her nude photographs.
Speaking on the Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky podcast, Cindy shared that she has some tasteful nude pictures of herself hung on the walls in her home.
'There were nude pictures of me in our house that I never explained to my kids,' she admitted. 'Once in a while, one of my kids will make a comment, like, ''we just thought it was normal that your mum was nude''...'
'There's a famous picture of me, Christy [Turlington], Naomi [Campbell], Linda [Evangelista], and Tatjana [Patitza],' she said of one piece of artwork in her home.
'You don't see anything - it wasn't like, hey, here's mum in all her glory! We didn't have those pictures out, but look, I'm sure my kids are traumatised - like every kid is.'
Cindy said having a family changed her perspective on doing nude photoshoots and ditched the raunchy content before she tied the knot with Rande in 1998 aged 32.
'I did stop doing nudes before we got married. I don't really think I've done anything nude again,' she explained.
'And I've been asked afterwards, but I definitely thought: I don't know if my nine-year-old kid wants to get teased by his friends.'
Though her decades-long career including a string of nude photographs, Cindy candidly admitted the one she regretted because she felt manipulated into doing it.
'Every experience is a lesson, and that's where we grow up - making those choices,' she said.
'I've done a tonne of nude pictures. The only one I regret ever is the one I got talked into. Every other one, I knew what I was doing. I did Playboy with Herb [Ritts] twice.'
But sharing one occasion she looks back on differently, she added: 'I felt manipulated into it. That's the only one that I look at, and I was hurt.'
'It's not even the most revealing picture of me by far, but when I look at it, I know what I was feeling,' she explained.
On the other hand, Cindy revealed she always felt 'comfortable' and '100 per cent safe' working with photographer Herb, who died of pneumonia aged 50 in 2002.
'Once you've done a naked picture, then people think, oh, she does nudes, but it's not that way. It has to be right. The chemistry has to be right,' she went on.
'I have to feel comfortable. With Herb, I felt 100% safe and not sexualised. He looked at people like architecture. So I could do it with him.
'I did it with straight guys too, but just certain people maybe give you a weird vibe, and I had one. And I just didn't know how to say no - or didn't say no.'
Cindy is preparing to celebrate her 60th birthday in February and recently gave an insight into her self-care routine.
She launched her skincare range Meaningful Beauty over 20 years ago with French doctor Jean-Louis Sebagh, and dished on her favourite products to maintain her flawless glow.
'When you feel good about yourself and feel confident, you hold your head a little higher and that's what people really see,' she told People, noting a key ingredient in the range is Charentais cantaloupe extract.
Cindy said she swears by Meaningful Beauty's sun-protectant moisturizer, which has anti-aging properties.
'It melts into the skin, so it works great under makeup,' she explained of the winning formula.
'My goal is for women to be less overwhelmed by skincare. Our systems make it easy to get the best ingredients all in one place.'
Cindy and Sebagh's range of skin-enhancing products debuted in 2004, and in 2021, expanded to include haircare items.
An Instagram tagline describes the company as Cindy's 'breakthrough secret to younger looking skin and hair.'
'A lot of women don't really start taking care of their skin until they start noticing those signs of aging. I think that was the same for hair for me,' she told People at the time.

Here's what it's like to see Kelly Clarkson's Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas
One set. Two outfits. And a whole lot of soul. Albeit a week later than originally planned, Kelly Clarkson recently kicked off her Studio Sessions residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace with a stripped down show that focuses more on the charismatic singer's voice than the over-the-top frills Las Vegas residencies are known for. If Clarkson was battling voice issues or illness, there was no evidence of it on opening night. She brilliantly belted out song after song with force and engaged with the audience with stories throughout the over two-hour performance. The Studio Sessions stage replicates a recording studio. It's a simple set that remains in place for the duration of the show. Clarkson says it's inspired by what her 'party barn' in Montana looks like. Framed photos of artists she idolizes are tacked onto the studio walls: Bonnie Raitt, Reba McEntire, Steven Tyler, Lauryn Hill, Janis Joplin and, of course, Dolly Parton (who will perform six shows on the very same stage this December). 'All these people are big musical influences for me,' she told fans on opening night. 'This is literally my shit on these walls. That's my Dolly,' she said, pointing to the photo of Parton hanging on the wall. Clarkson dressed for comfort and arrived 'in studio' wearing bell bottom jeans and a sparkly sequined Stevie Nicks T-shirt, which she sported until her encore. After opening the show with stirring renditions of 'Me' and 'Walk Away,' Clarkson dug deep and sang 'Heat,' a single she said 'feels like a modern day Tina Turner song' before breaking into a Bowie-esque version of 'Dance with Me.' Not surprisingly, Clarkson is a bit of a gabber. The multiple Emmy Award-winning talk show host spoke often to praise her band—a large ensemble with a string and horn section, backup singers and other musicians—as well as to talk about the set (the furniture is available on Wayfair) and how this residency was all about giving fans a glimpse into the fun associated with recording. 'We gave you a sneak peek of what we do. There's nothing like getting into studios with a bunch of musicians and vibing with each other. It's electric,' Clarkson said. 'This is my favorite show I've ever put together, because I love being in the studio and that's where this whole idea came from.' I heard some folks criticize her opening night performance for singing a couple songs with her back turned to the audience seated stage left. It was a detail I didn't initially notice because she was facing me the whole time. She also remained center stage the entire show so those in the front rows didn't get the up-close experience they may have expected. Both are easily correctable, though. Clarkson's only costume change came at the very end of the show when she ditched the jeans and returned in a white gown to perform her final three songs of the evening, which concluded with her hit song 'Since U Been Gone.' 'Damn right I'm going to sing this song in this dress!' she told the audience. When and where is Clarkson performing Studio Sessions? When: July 25, 26; Aug 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16; Nov 7, 8, 14, 15 Where: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas What's on the Studio Sessions setlist? The setlist for Clarkson's Studio Sessions Vegas residency includes 19 songs that span her career and a few bonuses during the encore. – 'Me' – 'Walk Away' – 'Heat' – 'Dance With Me' – 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' – 'Heartbeat Song' – 'Breakaway' – 'Didn't I' – 'Because of You' – 'Mine' – 'Catch My Breath' – 'Beautiful Disaster' – 'Piece by Piece' – 'Miss Independent' – 'Sober' – 'Favorite Kind of High' – 'My Life Would Suck Without You' – 'Tightrope' – 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' Encore Her encore includes one Kellyoke cover song that will rotate. On the first weekend she sang Dolly Parton's 'I Will Always Love You' opening night and on night two, she sang Måneskin's version of Frankie Vallie & the Four Seasons' 'Beggin.' – 'Where Have You Been' – Kellyoke cover – 'Since U Been Gone'

Playboy pinup Carmen Electra, 53, was on Baywatch and romanced Prince and Dave Navarro... see her now
Carmen Electra was the 'it' pinup girl of the 1990s. Not only was she on the Baywatch series after she was pretty much discovered by her boyfriend Prince, but she was also a nude model. The 53-year-old brunette bombshell - who was born as Tara Leigh Patrick - was posed for the cover of Playboy magazine several times after striking up a friendship with editor Hugh Hefner. Movie roles followed: Electra was in American Vampire, Good Burger, Scary Movie, and various parody films such as Date Movie and Epic Movie. She also starred in the remake of the television show Starsky & Hutch. On Tuesday the actress looked incredible at the Freakier Friday premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Also there were Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Electra wore a strapless ruby red sparkly mini dress with a train as she added black platform heels. Her long hair that was highlighted cascaded down her bare shoulders. Last year she was in the news for a legal matter. She filed legal documents asking for her name to be formally changed to Carmen Electra, as per TMZ. The star — who was seen holding hands with Godsmack lead signer Sully Erna, 55 — filed the paperwork on December 29, 2023, though it's unclear why she has decided to make the name change official. Electra has been going by the moniker since the early '90s, when she became a worldwide sensation thanks to Baywatch. It's not clear if the request has been granted yet, but the process usually doesn't take long. Though she has been married twice, she has never taken the last name of either of her husband. Electra was married to musician Dave Navarro from 2003 until 2007. Prior to that she wed NBA star Dennis Rodman in 1998, before their divorce the following year in 1999. The star became known as Carmen Electra during her years at Prince's Paisley Park Records in the early 90s. In 1993 she made her singing debut with her self-titled debut studio album, which would be her only one. Carmen previously reveled that Prince was the one who coined her famous moniker, after they met in 1991. 'I auditioned for an all girl group that he was putting together and he ended up signing me to his label Paisley Park,' she told The Yo Show in 2014, as per Yahoo Entertainment. 'After I danced for him he said, "You look like Electra. That should be your name."' At the time she shared that the nickname didn't stick at first. 'I thought it sounded kinda like a super hero type of name which actually it is. So I was hesitant but it just sorta grew on me and that's it. I'm Electra now,' the bombshell explained. Following the release of her record, Carmen continued on to have a successful career including a Playboy magazine cover, and numerous television and movie roles. Carmen landed her iconic Baywatch role as sexy lifeguard Lani McKenzie in 1997, which helped establish her as a sex symbol. The star left the series after one season because of her hectic schedule and her mother being ill. She later returned for the reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, in 2003.

Rene Kirby dead: Shallow Hal dies at 70 after health struggles and lengthy hospital stay
Rene Kirby, known for his role in Shallow Hal, has sadly died at the age of 70. The actor's death on July 11 followed a two-month hospitalisation due to infections and complications with his oesophagus, kidneys and bladder, according to his brother Jon Kirby. His passing occurred at the University of Vermont Medical Center, as reported by the Vermont-based publication Seven Days. He was best known for starring in 2011 American comedy Shallow Hal, directed by the Farrelly Brothers and starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black. The movie saw Black's sexist character be hypnotised to only see the inner beauty of people - including love interest Rosemary (played by a fat-suit wearing Paltrow). The movie was a huge box office success, grossing $141million against a $41million budget. Kirby found himself starring in the 1999 Hollywood movies after a chance encounter with Hollywood director Peter Farrelly. Farrelly was in Rene's hometown of Burlington, Vermont shooting Me, Myself & Irene starring Jim Carrey. After buying Rene a pint and spending the evening chatting, Farrelly decided to cast Rene in his next film. In a 2001 interview, he said: "He's got a zest for life that is contagious and he's extremely funny." Farrelly penned a role specifically for Rene in Shallow Hal, which he co-wrote and co-directed with his brother, Bobby. Given the film's theme of looking beyond physical appearances, Farrelly believed it was an ideal fit for Rene, who he said "epitomises inner beauty". Kirby lived with spina bifida, which led to him having no use of his legs. But that didn't stop the actor from biking, skiing and acting. "Walking on my hands, it's just, all I've ever known, I just never thought of myself being disabled," he told Seven Days' Eva Sollberger in an episode of Stuck in Vermont.
