But if there's one thing boomers and millennials can agree upon, it's that Palm Springs is a mighty fine place to go on vacation — while it's long been a retirement town, with the average age being 57, it's also a big party town and super popular among the millennial set for their bachelor and bachelorette parties.
So on June 10, National Iced Tea day, Lipton Hard Iced Tea is offering a new sweepstakes to send people from both generations on an all-inclusive trip to the desert city for the ultimate multi-generational bash — because good times aren't just for the young. (Or the old!)
'This National Iced Tea Day, we want to celebrate how tea brings people of all generations together, this time with a party-loving twist of Lipton Hard Iced Tea," Lisa Texido, brand director of Lipton Hard Iced Tea, tells PEOPLE in a statement.

For the new campaign, the brand teamed up with content creators from the Retirement House (the 'grandfluencers' who challenge the conceptions of what senior living looks like), and comedian Cruz Corral, who's known for his funny takes on workplace culture across ages.
To win the trip, from June 10 through June 17, fans can enter to win by following Lipton Hard Tea on Instagram and tagging their favorite party partner from another generation (boomers tag millennials, millennials tag boomers, 21+ Gen Z are welcome to participate too), with the hashtag #dontretiretheparty.
The campaign statement continued, "Whether you're a Boomer who invented the house party or a Millennial who brings the energy to every rooftop gathering, Lipton Hard Iced Tea is calling on both generations to unite over their shared love of hard tea and partying."

Yes, I'm all good. Some stitches, slightly damaged pride, and some unparalleled dad lore.' In a separate video reflecting on the fail, Cruz explained that he was running low on sleep before performing the stunt, and the bright light of the studio set meant that he lost his bearings in mid-air. 'I was pretty confused. My mic pack fell out of my pocket, my shoe flew off of my foot. I don't even know how that happened. I feel bad for the news anchors because they just sat there like, Ok, we're not supposed to laugh, but oh my gosh, that was funny,' Cruz observed. 'They just had to carry on.' Cruz said he was unable to take part in an interview because he was covered in blood from splitting his lip and chin. The video contained a photo of Cruz receiving medical attention, which he said included 'several stitches.' 'Thank God, aside from my damaged pride, I didn't sustain any significant injuries,' he said. Rob Lowe revealed that he's been working on a followup script to 1985's St. Elmo's Fire. "We're working on the script, and it's really getting good,' Lowe told People in an interview published on June 29. "I think it's super valid to revisit those characters that continue to mean a lot to people and watch them navigate this chapter of life, because arguably this chapter of life is every bit as interesting and fraught as — 'What do I do when I get out of college?'' Lowe starred as Billy Hicks in the film, alongside Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson and Mare Winningham. The Outsiders star previously revealed that he and Moore have talked about what it will be like to revisit their characters from St. Elmo's Fire. 'She has a pseudonym that she goes by, which I can't say, because then it wouldn't be a pseudonym,' Lowe said in an appearance on Kelly Ripa's 'Let's Talk Off Camera' podcast in October 2024. The legendary musician talks about meeting his wife for the first time in the new HBO documentary 'Billy Joel: And So It Goes' Billy Joel brought out all the stops for his wife Alexis the first time they met — but she wasn't exactly impressed by a private concert. Joel, 76, reflects on the first time he met Alexis, 43, in the new HBO documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes, and recalls that her nonchalance toward his skills drew him to her. 'When you meet someone who captures your imagination, it renews, it revitalizes,' he says in the film. 'I remember the first time I met Alexis, we went to my house, and I wanted to play the piano for her. It's a form of communication for me.' The 'Just the Way You Are' singer says he drew on a famous scene from the Marilyn Monroe film The Seven-Year Itch, in which the character trying to woo Monroe's character plays a song by the Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. 'I'm playing that and she's completely unimpressed with it, totally. She couldn't care less what I'm playing and I'm thinking, 'Oh OK, this isn't working,'' Joel says. 'She was very unimpressed with the whole Billy Joel thing, which impressed me. Because I thought, 'OK, maybe she's just here because she likes me, not the Billy Joel guy.'' Joel says he was initially uncertain as to whether he wanted to start a new relationship, as he was fresh off a divorce from his third wife, Katie Lee, and was wary. Still, the star explains that 'something popped,' and he knew he was open to love once more. Alexis — whom he went on to marry in 2015 and welcome daughters Della, 9, and Remy, 7 — also appears in the documentary, and says that the couple got to know each other better after that first meeting through phone calls and emails. She also praises his skills in the kitchen, saying Joel would often cook dinner for her to come home to while she was working in finance. 'We had a couple years together before we had kids and he had completely stopped doing shows,' she says. 'We traveled everywhere. We did a motorcycle trip from Maine down to Long Island, we were on boats 24/7. We were in Europe. We had so much fun.' Alexis has been a pillar of strength for the star in recent months as he deals with a treatable brain condition called normal pressure hydrocephalus (The rocker tells PEOPLE in this week's issue that he's 'OK' and not 'deathly ill'). Dennis Arfa, the star's longtime booking agent, tells PEOPLE he's 'so happy' to see Joel 'raising his children and being so in love with them and Alexis and his family.' 'It's quite rewarding,' Arfa says. 'I'm always rooting for Billy's happiness and his success. I've seen Billy have a lot of happy times through his life, [but] he's had to deal with certain adversity. I'm happy for him in this chapter, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter with him.' Joel himself adds that he's 'really enjoying this time in my life.'
