
Financial resources system training course launched in Hajjah
A training course on the Financial Resources System commenced on Saturday in Hajjah, organized by the local authority in the province.
The five-day course aims to enhance the capabilities of employees from the Governorate Secretariat and the Financial Resources Department, strengthening their roles in oversight, revenue collection, and improving the efficiency of financial resource management at the executive offices and their branches across the governorate.
During the opening ceremony, Ismail Al-Muhaym, Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hajjah, emphasized the importance of the course in developing skills that contribute to resource development across various revenue streams. He urged participants to make optimal use of the training outcomes, stressing the local authority's commitment to overcoming challenges in financial resource management.
The event was attended by the directors of the province's Finance Office, Yahya Al-Wazan, and the Governor's Office, Abdulrahman Al-Saraji. Fadh Al-Hubshi, Director of Financial Resources, highlighted the course's role in facilitating data access, information exchange between the governorate and the ministry, identifying shortcomings, and addressing them promptly.
He noted that the training would enhance oversight of financial resources in administrative units, enabling timely error detection and correction, thereby improving report quality and transparency.
Trainers of the course, Ramz Abdul Samad, Deputy Director of Systems and Information at the Ministry of Finance, and Mohammed Al-Salami, Director of Information Systems, emphasized its importance in classifying directorates based on resource sources, amounts, and statistical reporting. They also covered comparative quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports, shared resource distribution, collected revenues from various sources, shares of common public resources, and central support.

Jawf opens bids for wheat harvesting equipment
Jawf - Saba: The Tender Committee in Jawf province, headed by Governor Faisal Haider, convened on Tuesday to open the tender envelopes for the procurement and supply of agricultural equipment and machinery specifically for wheat harvesting. This initiative falls under the first phase of the locally funded Agricultural Expansion Project in the province. During the meeting, attended by Yahya al-Quh, Chairman of the Services Committee; Mahdi al-Dhamin, Head of the Agricultural Sector; and representatives from the bidding companies, the Tender Committee approved the referral of the submitted bids to the Technical Analysis Committee. This committee will be responsible for a thorough review and evaluation of the offers based on the established terms and criteria outlined in the tender documents. Governor Haider emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the specifications detailed in the tender documents. He also directed that the analysis results be promptly submitted to the Adjudication Committee for the completion of contracting and procurement procedures in accordance with the relevant legal framework. Standards Authority launches market, gas station monitoring campaigns
Sana'a - Saba: The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control has initiated field operations to monitor markets in Taiz province and gas stations in Dhamar province. In Taiz, the Authority has commenced a 10-day campaign targeting markets and shops to inspect food products, ensure accurate weights and measurements of packaged goods, and educate vendors on proper product display and trading requirements, especially with the approach of Ramadan. Director of the Authority's Taiz branch Eng. Riyadh Al-Bukhaiti urged consumers to scrutinize product labels and validity dates, and to avoid non-compliant goods.
