Nicolas Kuhn set for rapid Celtic reunion after Como transfer is confirmed as exact fee revealed for Serie A switch
Nicolas Kuhn will miss Celtic 's friendly with Queen's Park as he looks to dot the i's and cross the t's on a move to Como.
But it might not be the last Celtic fans have seen of him this summer, as he could run out against them in this month's Como Cup.
The German winger, 25, is on the verge of a move to Serie A after a £17.2m deal was struck with Celtic.
He had been heavily linked with Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig this summer, but Cesc Fabregas has stolen a march by shelling out big money to lure Kuhn to Italy.
It's believed Kuhn has already agreed a lucrative long-term deal with the Serie A side, who are now ironing out the final details.
Kuhn is understood to be gearing up for a medical with Fabregas' team.
The winger sparkled last season for the Hoops, scoring 21 goals and supplying 15 assists across all competitions.
The wide man delivered in big moments too, scoring against Leipzig and Bayern Munich in the Champions League, as well as Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup Final.
However, he was criticised towards the end of the campaign for a drop-off in form, sparking speculation that his future could lie elsewhere.
Now, less than 18 months after arriving from Rapid Vienna for a bargain £3m, Celts stand to make a huge profit.
The attacker won't be involved in tonight's friendly with Queen's Park but could be set for a quick-fire reunion with Brendan Rodgers and co later this month in the Como Cup.
Como face Al-Ahli in the tournament on July 23 before Celtic face Ajax on July 24.
Should both Como and Celtic win then Kuhn could run out against his former side in Italy on July 27 – around three weeks after sealing the move.
They would also meet in the third place playoff on July 26 if both sides were to lose.

Rangers 2 Club Brugge 2: Russell Martin's first game
In front of a crowd of 29,480, the Light Blues struggled early on and were 2-0 down to last season's Belgian runners-up within 13 minutes. But a superb strike from substitute Mohamed Diomande early in the second half gave them a foothold before Finlay Curtis levelled in the 89th minute. Rangers fought back to draw 2-2 at home to Club Brugge in Russell Martin's first pre-season friendly in charge on Sunday. Recently-appointed manager Martin, who was warmly applauded by the home support when he walked on to the pitch during the warm-up, included only one of Gers' five summer signings in a starting XI captained by Connor Barron. On-loan Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons started and played an hour while centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez came on for the last half hour after arriving from Peterborough on a four-year contract earlier this week. Rangers' other three new recruits Joe Rothwell, Lyall Cameron and Thelo Aasgaard played no part but were introduced to the crowd at half-time. Strikers Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers, both of whom have been heavily touted to depart amid interest from elsewhere, were not involved either, while key defender John Souttar watched from the sidelines as he recovers from hernia surgery. Gers, who have been back in pre-season training for a fortnight, kick off their bid to qualify for the Champions League two weeks on Tuesday when they host Panathinaikos in the first leg of their second qualifying round tie.

The two reasons Arsenal abandoned plan to sign Benjamin Sesko
Benjamin Sesko looks likely to miss out on a transfer to Arsenal with the Gunners set to complete the signing of Viktor Gyokeres. The Slovenia international came close to joining Arsenal 12 months ago prior to Euro 2024, but opted to remain with the Bundesliga club and signed a new contract. After watching their title challenge unravel last season, largely as a consequence of lacking the same firepower as their rivals, Arsenal came back to the negotiating table last month. New Sporting Director Andrea Berta appeared to be making progress in talks with Leipzig but walked away with the German club digging their heels in. According to The Independent, Arsenal were still at least €10m away from meeting Leipzig's asking price and were unhappy with the structure of an €80m deal. Meanwhile, agreeing personal terms with Sesko's camp had been proving equally problematic. With Mikel Arteta desperate for the arrival of a new centre forward before Arsenal embark on their pre-season tour, the decision was taken to switch focus to Viktor Gyokeres. Dealing with Sporting Lisbon has been anything but a cakewalk for Berta, but a breakthrough was made in the last 48 hours which means the Sweden international is now destined for the Emirates. A delegation, led by Berta, jetted in to Lisbon on Friday and agreed a deal that will see Arsenal pay an initial fee of €65million. The Gunners could end up paying a further €15m, depending on whether or not certain performance related criteria are met. It's been quite a tough season for Leipzig, which forced them to change coach after a disappointing Champions League campaign. They've been struggling, which reflects on his output, but he's still been one of their best and most consistent players. Sesko's strengths are certainly his physicality and speed – he's great at making dangerous runs in behind defences, but he's also a very clinical and instinctive finisher, especially when the ball drops to him in the area. His work rate is good and he's a willing runner off the ball as well. His hold-up play is quite strong, but I think his link-up play is a side of his game that he can still improve. It's not that he's bad at that side of the game, but compared to someone like Havertz, he's not at that level. In particular, his passing will need to get a lot better in a side like Arsenal. But during his young career, he's shown he can take those steps forward. His mentality is definitely a strength – he's a player who wants to learn and wants to improve so in that sense he will be a quick learner and offers Arsenal something completely different. Rune Gjerulff, German football expert and editor of Bulinews Gyokeres is understood to have agreed a five-year deal already and Arsenal could make an announcement as early as next week. Arsenal, meanwhile, have signed midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. More Trending The Spain international, 26, moves to the Emirates Stadium on a long-term deal after the Gunners reportedly triggered his £51million release clause. Euro 2024 winner Zubimendi had previously been a target for Liverpool and was also linked with Real Madrid. Zubimendi told the club website: 'This is a huge moment in my career. It's the move I was looking for and one I wanted to make. As soon as you set foot here, you realise how big this club and this team are. 'I set my sights on Arsenal because their style of play is a good fit for me. They have shown their potential recently and the best is yet to come.' Thibaut Courtois speaks out on Manuel Neuer criticism of Gianluigi Donnarumma
Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois has backed PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after he came in for criticism for his part in Jamal Musiala's horror injury. PSG beat Bayern Munich 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup on Saturday, but the match was overshadowed by a serious injury for the Bayern star. There was an awkward collision between Donnarumma and Musiala, with the Germany international falling, with his leg briefly trapped between the pitch and the goalkeeper's body. The incident ended with a clear broken bone, with the German's leg bent horribly and players looking shocked. Bayern confirmed on Sunday: 'Jamal Musiala suffered a fibula fracture and an ankle dislocation and will be sidelined for a long period of time.' Donnarumma had dived to grab the ball at the feet of Musiala and while he clearly didn't intend to injury him, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was not impressed. 'It was a situation where you don't have to go in like that,' said the German 'keeper. 'That's risk-taking. He was prepared to accept the risk of injuring his opponent.' The Bundesliga giant's sporting director, Max Eberl, also criticised the Italian, telling Sky: 'When I jump onto his [Musiala's] lower leg while sprinting, weighing 100 kg, there's a high risk of something happening. 'I don't think he did it intentionally, but he also wasn't being considerate.' Courtois, though, is not having it, believing Donnarumma was within his rights to go for the ball and the injury was just an awful and unfortunate accident. 'Blaming Donnarumma for Musiala 's injury seems excessive to me,' said the Belgian of Neuer's comments. 'Goalkeepers go for the ball. Forwards don't hold back when they get in our way either. 'It's bad luck. It will hurt him more because he's on his team, but Donnarumma isn't to blame.' Donnarumma was clearly distraught by what had happened, in tears on the field as Musiala was stretchered off at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. More Trending He posted on Instagram after the match: 'All my prayers and well wishes are with you @jamalmusiala10 🙏🏽.' The Italian will be back in action on Wednesday as PSG take on Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup after the Spanish side edged out Borussia Dortmund 3-2. On the other side of the draw, Chelsea take on Brazilian outfit Fluminense on Tuesday at 8pm UK time.
