Justin Bieber Releasing New Album on Friday: Fans 'Did Not See This Coming'
Beliebers will finally be getting new music from Justin Bieber.
First reported by The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday morning, the 31-year-old singer will be releasing his seventh studio album on Friday. The album is rumored to be called Swag because of billboards spotted in Iceland and Los Angeles. Features on the album will include rappers Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain, each of whom the Canadian singer has shouted out on social media in the past few months. This will be his first studio album since Justice, which was released in 2021.
Many people have been speculating that Bieber was going to release new music sometime in the near future because of a photo dump posted to Instagram on June 30, which showed him working in a studio. But on Thursday in the early afternoon, Bieber himself confirmed the reports through multiple social media posts, including the tracklist and billboard pictures posted on his Instagram. The new album will have 20 new songs.
When reports circulated around social media and the "Yummy" singer posted multiple photos confirming the release, the Internet freaked out.
"i literally fell to the ground and started crying," a fan commented on one of Bieber's Instagram posts.
An X fan account dedicated to Ariana Grande commented, "did not see this coming, but yes Justin come save summer."
"Justin bieber dropping a new album tonight WE WONNNN," a user posted on X with an Oprah Winfrey GIF.
"IT'S NOT CLOCKING TO Y'ALL THAT WE GETTING A NEW ALBUM TONIGHT," a user commented on Instagram, referring to this viral video.

It's The Summer Of Spritzes, Patios And Pasta In Los Angeles
Spritzes at Hotel Bel-Air are made with fresh local fruit. If you go to the right places, summer in Los Angeles can feel a lot like a European vacation. You know the setting and the feeling. You sit outside on a beautiful patio while you people-watch. You drink spritzes and eat pasta before indulging in dessert and coffee. You linger because this is what you do in situations like this. It's all about, as the Italians say, the sweetness of doing nothing. You have through August 2 to soak up this kind of scene at Angelini Grill, a terrific pop-up at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel. The Peninsula likes to use its Belvedere brasserie for pop-ups, and we've previously enjoyed both Sushi Nakazawa and Camphor's appearances there. Angelini Grill, helmed by L.A. icon Gino Angelini and Angelini Osteria executive chef Gianpiero Ceppaglia, is serving excellent shrimp and calamari spiedini, standout pastas like linguine with Santa Barbara sea urchin and baller main dishes like Roman-style Dover sole and veal chop Milanese. This is Angelini, so there's also lasagna verde with a hearty beef ragu and tonnarelli allo scoglio that's loaded with lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari. You can also eat vitello tonnato (like every chef who was in Turin for the World's 50 Best Restaurants events this summer) at Angelini Grill. Gino Angelini, who has his own grocery-store line and mentored chefs like Ori Menashe, continues to be an ace at creating transportive experiences. Sit outside at the Belvedere with a cocktail and you might feel like you're in Positano. The Belvedere at the Peninsula Beverly Hills is a lovely setting for pop-ups like Angelini Grill. Another luxury Los Angeles destination, Hotel Bel-Air, also has the European summer vibes going. With new culinary director Joe Garcia (who previously ran the kitchen at Manzke and Bicyclette after working at the French Laundry) at the helm, what's simply known as the Restaurant at Hotel Bel-Air is a lovely summer getaway. You can eat perfectly composed Niçoise salads and comforting tortilla soup (a beloved dish at Hotel Bel-Air that Garcia knows he can't ever take off the menu) as part of long lunches that also include beautiful summer pastas like sweet corn agnolotti with butter-poached Maine lobster. Garcia is hyper-focused on finding top-tier ingredients. He speaks enthusiastically about procuring big hunks of tuna that allow him to serve thick pieces of raw fish that melt in your mouth. He goes to Tenerelli Orchards himself to get the best nectarines and peaches. The goal is gathering the best ingredients around you and letting them shine. This, of course, is a very European way to think about food. Hotel Bel-Air is also showcasing its new garden spritz menu, which features ingredients like fresh strawberries and lemons, the latter of which are from the property's own trees. There's also a new pastry cart with treats from Hotel Bel-Air's on-site Patisserie for all your cream puff and croissant cravings. Buzzy new Los Angeles restaurants like Alba and Beethoven Market are also dazzling guests with pasta-powered meals on their patios. Alba and Beethoven Market, in fact, are two of the hardest reservations in the city. Sometimes, all a lot of people want (especially when they're jealous of their friends who won't stop Instagramming from the Amalfi Coast and the French Riviera) is good spaghetti, properly made cocktails and a patio with a nice vibe. This is L.A. summer for those who don't use 'summer' as a verb.

Lux Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Xochitl Gomez Lead '60s-inspired Beauty Trend at ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Premiere
1960s glam was in full gear on 'The Fatastic Four: First Steps' premiere red carpet in Los Angeles on Monday night, where the star-studded cast, including Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn, as well as a litany of A-list fans, flocked to celebrate the upcoming release of the Marvel Studios film, directed by Matt Shakman. The hair trends of decades past united with mod makeup fads outside the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, creating a diverse palette of looks, not one with less prowess than the other. Xochitl Gomez led the charge in the '60s glam resurgence, recreating a carbon copy of Tracy Turnblad's bouffant hairdo in 'Hairspray' on her own head. Lux Pascal, similarly, added 'oomph' to her aesthetic, drawing exaggerated eyeliner across her lids and in her waterline like a '90s runway model. Lux Pascal Lux Pascal stepped out for 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' premiere in Los Angeles last night to support her brother, Pedro Pascal, who plays Mister Fantastic in the film. Honoring the night, the 33-year-old Chilean actress styled her fringe in messy waves around her face. Her makeup, comprised of back cat-eye eyeliner across her lids and in her waterline, settled somewhere between '90s runway model and '60s editorial glam, but a little less abstract. Pascal has worked with makeup artist Melissa P. and hair artist Audrey Lampron in the past; however, it's not known if either helped with this look. Xochitl Gomez Xochitl Gomez cast herself as Tracy Turnblad in the cinematic world of 'Hairspray' on Monday night, a far cry from the Marvel Studios universe. Instead of playing with beauty themes apparent in 'The Fantastic Four' franchise, Gomez-styled bouffant hair, securing a BumpIt behind a thick white headband. Gomez slicked her front pieces across her forehead, tucking the ends into the headband behind her right ear. Her makeup was just a dramatic, complete with dusty mauve shadow jetting out under her brow bone, white shimmer stamped on her inner eye corners, baby pink blush and a matching lip à la Ariana Grande in her 'Positions' music video. Julia Garner Julia Garner muted her trademark teased curls for the premiere, opting for a slicked side part instead. In fact, there was not a curl in sight on the 31-year-old actress' head, only a single bobby pin holding down her straightened front pieces. She kept the same bleach blond pixie cut, however, choosing to add volume only at the crown of her head. The androgynous hairstyle evoked English actress Twiggy in the '60s with her well-known cut created by stylist Leonard Lewis at the time. Vanessa Kirby Vanessa Kirby revived the soap brow trend on Monday night at the movie premiere in Los Angeles, opting to ignore the burgeoning skinny brow trend that had infiltrated the runways during the past haute couture season. The 37-year-old actress brushed her bushy brows up with thick gel to create a feathered effect. Her dirty blond tresses were parted on the right side of her head and styled in loose curls around her face. Sarah Niles Sarah Niles donned a sculpted updo on the red carpet on Monday night, harking back to the beehive hair trend popular among '60s movie stars and music artists, such as The Ronettes. The two-tiered bun on top of her head complemented the protruding drop waist on her lime green gown. Her makeup, on the other hand, was much more toned-down, complete with a touch of highlight on her cheeks, blended black shadow along the top of her eyes and a maroon shade on her lips.
