How Digital Platform Muzz is Redefining the Muslim Love Story
Alright, single Muslims of the world (and the occasional concerned parent lurking in the background). We get it. The halal dating scene isn't precisely… thrilling. That's because Muslims don't date, they marry! You've either got nosy aunties setting you up with someone who 'works in finance' (read: unemployed) or apps that make you feel like you're auditioning for Swipe Island: Muslim Edition.
That's why Muzz is here to save your love life (and your sanity). Muzz is not about endless swiping or half-hearted convos with people who ghost you faster than you can 'kaifak'. Nope. It is about serious intentions, serious people and beautiful marriages without compromising any of your values.
With 12 million users worldwide, Muzz is the Biggest Muslim Marriage App on the Planet. Over 500,000 couples have been 'nikkahfied' thanks to Muzz. They are basically the halal e-cupid of the Muslim world.
Are you tired of matches who chat once and then vanish into the digital void? Muzz has a Ghost-Free Zone with a five-chat limit; you can only chat with five people simultaneously. And yes, their filters work, and they're free! You can narrow your matches by age, sect, and religious practice so you only see people who tick all your boxes.
But it's not just about matches; it's about safety. With female-friendly features like Privacy Mode, Wali Mode (for chaperoned chats), Anti-Screenshot (because no one needs your profile circulating in random WhatsApp groups), Photo Blur and Verified Profiles, all for free without the paid Gold membership. These features are designed to make your experience more safe and respectful.
Muzz has borne witness to over half a million success stories, from cross-country romances to childhood neighbors who realized, 'Oh, maybe you're not that annoying after all.'
For example, Ameer from Ohio and Hannah from Manchester. Ameer almost gave up after sending his last compliment of the day when Hannah finally responded. Months of chatting later, he got his passport to see her, flew across the Atlantic, and popped the question after meeting her family. Fast forward to today, they're happily married and planning their future together.
Or take Ghussan, born and raised in Saudi Arabia. He found his perfect match just four days after joining Muzz. He was drawn to Fatima's unique blend of ambition, aspiring to become both a doctor and an alima. It didn't take him long to realize she was the one. Despite the challenges of traveling during COVID-19, he made his way to Panama all the way from KSA, and two months later, they tied the knot. And for parents worrying if this is respectable enough for their child, don't panic. Muzz was made for those with serious marriage intentions only and their safety features ensure that catfishing and ghosting is eliminated. Plus, with Wali mode, you can even be part of the process and ensure their safety.

Progressive Regulation and Zero Tax Policy Drive UAE's $34 Billion Crypto Boom - Middle East Business News and Information
The Middle East has officially transitioned from crypto-curious to crypto-committed, with the UAE leading a generational financial shift; positioning the region as a major digital asset powerhouse. According to a new report by a leading provider of blockchain and Bitcoin solutions, Mining Grid – the UAE received $34 billion (AED124B) in crypto inflows between July 2023 and June 2024, recording a 42% YoY growth rate. This surge places the UAE as a key player in the global crypto ecosystem, with over 500,000 daily crypto traders now active in the country. The Middle East attracted $338.7 billion in crypto inflows during the same period, marking an 11.73% YoY increase and securing its position as the 7th largest crypto market globally. Over 93% of that volume came from institutional-sized transfers, highlighting a maturing market driven by long-term strategies rather than speculation. Youth adoption has become a defining characteristic of the UAE's crypto landscape. With over 74% of young adults aged 25-34 showing active interest in cryptocurrency, and 21% planning to trade crypto within the next 12 months, the country leads regional participation in youth-driven digital finance. Social platforms including TikTok, WhatsApp, and YouTube have become primary discovery channels for this demographic, fostering a socially connected generation pursuing financial independence through digital assets. Growth brings challenges, with nearly half of young crypto users concerned about misinformation – opening the door for trusted platforms to lead in education and responsible adoption. Solaiman AlRifai, Founder & Board member, Mining Grid said, 'The UAE's clear regulations and zero capital gains tax have created the perfect environment for crypto growth. With an engaged and forward-looking population, it's no surprise the country is now seen as the crypto capital of the Arab world.' Regional neighbours are following suit with their own approaches. Saudi Arabia recorded remarkable 153% growth and leads GCC countries in youth crypto adoption rates. Oman has taken a sustainability-focused path, investing over $1.1 billion in green mining infrastructure to position itself as a hub for environmentally conscious crypto mining operations. Rami Alsridi, Founder and CEO, Mining Grid said, 'The UAE has created the ideal environment where curiosity meets clarity. We're seeing a new generation that doesn't just want to invest in crypto but wants to understand it, build with it, and lead its next chapter. We're also witnessing a surge in Bitcoin mining, driven by demand for decentralization, transparency, and energy-conscious innovation.' Bitcoin maintains market dominance while Ethereum's ecosystem resilience keeps digital assets in the spotlight. Stablecoins have become a cornerstone of regional value transfer, now comprising 66% of all on-chain transactions. The tokenization of real-world assets, including real estate and bonds, is driving new waves of institutional interest across the region. Mining Grid, which serves over 60,000 users globally with a physical presence in the UAE, has played a pivotal role in accelerating regional crypto adoption through accessible and energy-efficient mining solutions. The company's approach addresses traditional concerns about Bitcoin mining's energy demands by reimagining it as an infrastructure opportunity aligned with regional sustainability goals. Looking toward 2026, analysts from Mining Grid project that youth-led crypto accounts will become the largest new onboarding segment in the region by Q4 2025 and Gulf countries are expected to continue exploring sustainable crypto mining practices. The report anticipates continued growth in mobile-first, gamified crypto platforms, increased institutional participation in tokenised assets, and accelerated adoption of clean-energy-backed mining models across the Middle East. -end- Note to the editor : This report uses data from verified analytics platforms, official regulatory sources, and proprietary insights from Mining Grid's user base. US House Bans WhatsApp on Official Devices
Israa Farhan The US House of Representatives has officially banned the use of WhatsApp on all government-issued devices in a move aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and protecting sensitive data. The decision was communicated through an internal memo from the House Cybersecurity Office and applies to all lawmakers, staff, and House employees. According to the memo, the Meta-owned messaging app poses a significant security threat, as officials describe it, due to a lack of transparency in how user data is managed, insufficient encryption for stored data, and associated technical vulnerabilities. As an alternative, the House recommended using more secure communication platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Amazon-owned Wickr, Apple's iMessage and FaceTime, and the encrypted messaging app Signal. In a statement responding to the ban, a Meta spokesperson expressed disagreement, arguing that WhatsApp offers industry-leading security features that exceed those of several recommended alternatives. The company emphasized that privacy and security remain top priorities. The ban follows recent cybersecurity alerts, including a January report in which WhatsApp confirmed that dozens of journalists and activists had been targeted by advanced spyware. These revelations heightened concerns over the platform's vulnerability to surveillance and data breaches. This is not the first time the US House has acted against popular apps over security concerns. In 2022, the House banned TikTok from official devices amid similar fears about data privacy and foreign surveillance. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
