President Al-Mashat congratulates Iran on victory over Israeli enemy & foiling its schemes

His Excellency Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, extended his congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran—its people, army, and leadership—on the great victory achieved against the aggressive Israeli enemy and the foiling of its schemes.
In a congratulatory message sent to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, President Al-Mashat affirmed that this significant victory represented a legitimate defense of Iran's national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the preservation of its national security. He emphasized that this triumph aligns with Iran's steadfast positions in supporting just causes for the Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.
President Al-Mashat stated: "The Islamic Republic has inflicted a crushing defeat on the criminal Zionist enemy, causing immense destruction and thwarting its hostile attempts to subjugate Iran through devastation and criminal operations. Iran has upheld its rights to invest in a peaceful nuclear program and its defensive rights, including its ballistic arsenal and programs. It has also overcome international aggression aimed at toppling its system and creating internal chaos."
He added that Iran "has shattered the desperate attempt to impose hegemony over the Arab and Islamic region by neutralizing a capable regional power and granting so-called 'Israel' military superiority. This would have led to the complete domination of the region and the implementation of what they call 'changing the face of the new Middle East.'"
President Al-Mashat noted that the Islamic Republic emerged victorious from this aggressive war following regional mediation requested by the United States—which had sponsored, planned, and participated in the aggression—when it realized that Israel's existence would be threatened if the battle continued.
"While we congratulate and commend Iran—its people, government, and leadership—on their victory, resilience, and patience, we also applaud the national unity demonstrated by the Iranian people, their adherence to their national , Islamic identity, and their defense of their country across political and opposition forces. This unity shattered the enemies' conspiracies and played a key role in overcoming serious security breaches orchestrated by saboteurs serving the criminal Zionist enemy," he continued.
President Al-Mashat also extended his congratulations to the Islamic nation and all free people of the world, stating that this victory serves as a deterrent to the forces of evil and domination globally. He highlighted that this aggressive war was a result of Iran's honorable and supportive stance on the just cause of the Palestinian people and the free world.

Yemen's Houthi rebels fire missile at Israel in first attack since Iran-Israel war
Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a ballistic missile towards Israel on Saturday, marking their first attack since the 24 June ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which followed a 12-day war. Warning sirens sounded in several areas across Israel before the military said the missile was 'most likely successfully intercepted.' The Houthis, backed by Iran, began launching missiles and drones at Israel after it began its devastating war on Gaza in October 2023. The International Court of Justice has found a plausible risk of genocide, while aid and rights groups have explicitly described Israel's campaign as genocidal. The group has said it will halt attacks once a truce is reached and Israel ends its military onslaught against the besieged population. According to Gaza's health ministry, Israeli forces have killed 56,331 Palestinians and injured 132,632 others since the war began. Gaza – Saba: The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated on Saturday that the Israeli entity is escalating its genocide crimes in Gaza amid ongoing unjustified international silence. In a statement, the Monitor reported that the Israeli army has recently intensified its direct and deliberate attacks on Palestinian civilians, with an increasing focus on targeting shelters and displacement tents, according to the Palestinian news agency "Safa." It noted that Israeli warplanes today launched a series of violent airstrikes on densely populated residential areas in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing more than 23 civilians, including children and women. The Monitor emphasized that Israel's escalation is part of a systematic policy to undermine the foundations of life in Gaza, within the framework of a genocidal campaign aimed at eliminating Palestinian existence and depopulating the Strip. It further pointed out that the increasing intensity of Israeli bombardment coincides with continued mass killings of starving Palestinians near aid distribution centers, which the army has imposed in central and southern Gaza. The statement stressed that all relevant countries and entities must uphold their legal , moral responsibilities and act urgently to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip. With American and European support, the Israeli army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 56,412 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, and 133,054 injuries so far.
