
Kasturba Schools getting a boost under the new coalition govt
On her visit to the Kasturba school in Ramagiri Mandal, the MLA inspected potential sites for the construction of additional school buildings, accompanied by officials and local leaders. She emphasized that the new buildings should be student-friendly and discussed the structural plans with the concerned authorities.
Paritala Sunitha instructed officials to ensure immediate commencement of construction work, as the government has already sanctioned the required funds.
Earlier, the MLA thoroughly reviewed the existing facilities in the school, including the dining and storage areas. She provided suggestions to the staff for improving certain areas.
Speaking with the girl students, she encouraged them to stay focused on their education and to be cautious in all aspects of life. She particularly advised them to avoid excessive use of mobile phones and to stay alert when approached by strangers or individuals making deceptive promises. She urged students to report any suspicious incidents to their teachers. She also stressed the importance of sports in schools and suggested that teachers promote physical and mental well-being alongside academics.
She further informed that additional building funds of ₹1.25 crore each have been sanctioned for Kasturba schools in Atmakur, Kurugunta, Kanaganapalli, Ramagiri, and Chennekothapalli. Construction work on these projects will begin soon, she said.
Highlighting the government's commitment to education, she said, 'This is a government that does not hesitate to spend on the education of the poor.' Despite financial constraints, she noted, the government has allocated thousands of crores for initiatives like the Thalliki Vandhanam scheme. She added that even remote rural areas are now seeing significant progress in educational infrastructure.

At a review meeting in Atmakur, Sunitha instructed TDP cluster, unit, KSS, and booth in-charges to strengthen the door-to-door campaign. She urged them to inform every household about the government's efforts and future plans, and to use the My TDP app to collect and act on feedback effectively.

Visakhapatnam: Aiming at public welfare plus inclusive development, the alliance government took up several measures in the past one year, emphasised TDP State president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao. As the wheels of door-to-door campaign 'Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu' (the first step towards good governance) turned towards ward No: 67 in the city, the TDP State president asserted, 'We have already begun implementing flagship schemes such as increased pensions, free LPG cylinders, and the 'Thalliki Vandhanam' programme. Soon, initiatives like 'Annadata Sukhibhava' and free bus travel for women will also be introduced.' The door-to-door drive was carried out to create awareness among people at the grassroots level about the key welfare schemes implemented by the newly-formed coalition government. Highlighting the essence of the campaign, the MLA stated that the objective of 'Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu' is to bring governance closer to the people, listening to their concerns and communicating the government's efforts in a transparent manner and rebuilding trust through action. NTR Bharosa ensures financial security: Andhra Energy Minister
GUNTUR: Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar on Tuesday highlighted the importance of NTR Bharosa pensions in supporting the poor and underprivileged. During a visit to Daivalaravuru village in Korisapadu mandal, he distributed pensions door-to-door and inaugurated development works, including 50 lakh worth of roads and drains, and an 86.80 lakh drinking water scheme. He reviewed welfare schemes, reaffirming the government's commitment to its manifesto, including Deepam LPG distribution and Thalliki Vandhanam. Despite financial constraints, 34,000 crore is allocated annually for pensions. He also announced 860 crore for rural roads and a tobacco procurement centre in Korisapadu.
