Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu will bring governance closer to people
As the wheels of door-to-door campaign 'Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu' (the first step towards good governance) turned towards ward No: 67 in the city, the TDP State president asserted, 'We have already begun implementing flagship schemes such as increased pensions, free LPG cylinders, and the 'Thalliki Vandhanam' programme. Soon, initiatives like 'Annadata Sukhibhava' and free bus travel for women will also be introduced.'
The door-to-door drive was carried out to create awareness among people at the grassroots level about the key welfare schemes implemented by the newly-formed coalition government.
Highlighting the essence of the campaign, the MLA stated that the objective of 'Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu' is to bring governance closer to the people, listening to their concerns and communicating the government's efforts in a transparent manner and rebuilding trust through action. 'The State which was in a bad shape during the YSRCP's tenure is being steered towards the path of development under the leadership of the coalition government,' Srinivasa Rao reiterated.
Assuring that every household in Gajuwaka would be covered under the welfare umbrella of the coalition government, Srinivasa Rao reiterated his commitment towards ensuring effective and timely delivery of all welfare schemes.
The MLA was accompanied by 67th ward corporator Chiranjeevi, Gajuwaka constituency in-charge P Srinivasa Rao along with mandal, village, and booth-level committee members and local party workers.

36 lakh school kits, sans political branding, distributed to students in State
In the current academic year, the government has distributed 35.94 lakh school kits to students from Classes 1 to 10 in government and aided schools with a total expenditure of ₹953.71 crore. A statement released by the Department of School Education said of this total expenditure, ₹778.68 crore was contributed by the State and ₹175.03 crore by the Centre. Each kit is worth around ₹2,279. These school kits comprise three sets of uniform cloth (olive green pants/skirts and light yellow-green striped shirts), one pair of shoes, two pairs of socks, a belt and a school bag besides textbooks, workbooks and notebooks. Students of Class 6 also get Oxford English-English-Telugu dictionary, for Class 1 a pictorial dictionary and dictionaries in Urdu, Tamil and Odia wherever applicable. The statement said for the first time, the Andhra Pradesh government partnered with the Quality Council of India (QCI) to conduct a three-stage quality check (raw materials, production and packaging) for the kits which have been named, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyarthi Mithra Kits. This marks a departure from political branding seen during the previous government, when the scheme was named 'Jagananna Vidya Kanuka'. 'The focus of the TDP-led NDA government in the State is on keeping politics away from education. We want schoolchildren to do their learning without labels,' said the statement. It may be noted here that the Jagananna Vidya Kanuka scheme launched by the previous YSRCP government, drew significant public attention. Branded heavily with the image and name of then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, the kits became a hallmark of the government's welfare-driven narrative. Promoted as a flagship education initiative, the scheme was celebrated in YSRCP circles as a symbol of inclusive development. However, critics argued that the Jagan government blurred the lines between governance and political promotion, sparking a debate over the use of public resources for personal branding. The NDA government is also said to have saved ₹63.80 crore, compared to previous year, by using an online e-procurement system for tenders, which ensured complete transparency and efficiency, said the statement. ..

I did not comment on any political leader: Anirudh Reddy
Jadcherla: Jadcherla MLA Janampally Anirudh Reddy has issued a clarification over his recent remarks related to the Banakacharla project, asserting that his comments were directed only at contractors and not at any political leaders. Addressing the growing political row, the MLA said a few opposition leaders were twisting his words and launching a false propaganda without even watching his original video statement. Speaking to the media, Anirudh Reddy said, 'I clearly referred to contractors associated with Chandrababu Naidu, who are active in Telangana's irrigation and road projects and operating in Hyderabad. When questioned, these contractors rush to Naidu seeking intervention to stop works like the Banakacharla project. My reference to 'coverts' was strictly in this context.' The MLA expressed anger over opposition leaders, including KT Rama Rao (KTR), for misinterpreting his statement and alleging that he had indirectly targeted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. 'If calling Revanth Reddy a covert because he came from TDP is valid, then even KCR, who also came from TDP, should be considered the same. Isn't that absurd?' he questioned. ‘First Step Towards Good Governance' receives overwhelming public response: Payyavula
Anantapur: State Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes, and Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav participated in the 'First Step Towards Good Governance' programme held in Donekal village, Vidapanakal mandal of Uravakonda constituency on Saturday. The Minister received a grand welcome from locals, supporters, and villagers who turned out in large numbers. As part of the initiative, he visited homes to explain the welfare and development programmes implemented by the coalition government. He personally inquired about the benefits received by each family, patiently listening to their concerns and feedback. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that as part of the programme, ministers and MLAs across all 175 constituencies are going door-to-door to directly interact with the people. He noted that the initiative is instilling confidence and peace, replacing the fear and unrest experienced during the previous five years. He highlighted a drinking water issue in Donekal village, where pipelines had not been laid due to negligence. He instructed officials to prepare a special project report to resolve the issue permanently within 10–15 days. Keshav pointed out the stark difference between the current and previous governments, noting that under the previous regime, 220 people received Amma Vodi benefits, while under the current government, 430 beneficiaries are receiving support through the Talliki Vandanam scheme. He also emphasized that pensions were increased by Rs1,000, and farmers are being supported under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme. He reiterated the government's commitment to both welfare and development, highlighting the completion of a national highway road and fast-tracking the Handri-Neeva project within 100 days. He assured that wherever there is suffering, struggle, or need, the government will respond swiftly. Several coalition leaders and local representatives also participated in the programme.
