A quick video from New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart has gone viral and fan have now dubbed him the
"future of the Franchise."
On Monday, July 14, 2025, Jaxson Dart uploaded a clip on Instagram that quickly circulated throughout Twitter, TikTok and even Youtube.The throw he made in the video wasn't in a stadium.
It wasn't even to a teammate. But it had New York Giants fans completely fired up. With training camp right around the corner, Jaxson Dart's strong arm and calm confidence are now giving New York fans something they've been waiting for hope.

The video was posted on July 14, 2025. In the video, 22-year-old Jaxson Dart had a deep ball thrown to a friend on a speeding jet ski from the edge of a dock or shoreline. The ball flew through the air and right into the person's chest.
The catch was missed, but the throw was impossible not to notice. Big sports pages like Bleacher Report and ESPN reposted the clip. One post from B/R Gridiron said,
'Jaxson Dart has a CANNON.'
Fans went wild in the comments. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, 'He already looks better than Daniel Jones.' Another said,
'Dart is our guy. Don't waste time.'

Among other topics, critical discussions were held on the upcoming 'National Sports Governance Bill', which will be tabled in the monsoon session of Parliament starting July 21. While athletes remain at the heart of the Khelo Bharat Niti (national sports policy), the government highlighted how federations, state governments, and corporate houses must play a major role in ensuring India finishes among the top 10 nations in the 2036 Olympics and Paralympics. 'We need to assess at once where we are and where we want to go. To begin with, I urge the NSFs to provide me with a five-year policy by August, and then we can develop a 10-year plan. With the Asian Games in 2026, we need a holistic approach because we not only want to win medals at the Olympics but also make sports a commercial property — where we can invite the world to come and play in India and boost sports tourism,' he said. The discussions also revolved around producing quality coaches, grooming sports administrators, developing the sports goods business, and controlling the menace of doping. 'We are happy to provide all support to NSFs, but going forward, we will also start looking at performance-based grants. The ministry urged NSFs to prepare a proper calendar of events so that athletes do not suffer logistical issues. Mandaviya informed that the International Olympic Committee (IOC), FIFA — football's global governing body — and international federations (IFs) were deeply consulted during the drafting stage of the governance bill to incorporate their suggestions and work on the objections raised. The minister said he even held discussions with former sports minister and Congress leader Ajay Maken, who was instrumental in the passage of the National Sports Development Code of India in 2011. 'IOC was consulted as well, along with IFs. FIFA had a query, and I sent an officer to their headquarters to discuss it with them. The bill is now ready. Class XII boy feted for bagging chess title for disabled
Trichy: A Class XII student of Adi Dravidar Higher Secondary School in Kattur, Trichy, has won first place in the Under-19 category at the 5th National Chess Championship for specially-abled, conducted by Chess Federation for Physically Disabled (CFPD). The student, R Ashwin, was felicitated by his headmaster, staff, and local residents on Thursday following his national-level achievement. The competition was held from June 25 to 28 in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. Following the win, Ashwin has earned a spot in the upcoming World IPCA Individual Chess Championship, to be held in Goa from July 21 to 31. The event will be jointly organized by CFPD, a registered non-profit body under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules, 1979, and International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA). According to the school authorities, Ashwin, a paraplegic, had consistently excelled in academics, topping his class in both 10th and 11th grades. He first participated in the 2024–25 Thiruverumbur block-level chess competition, representing his school, and won first place.
