Emir of Qatar and the UAE President Meet in Doha
The Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, in Doha on Thursday, June 26.
The two leaders discussed the strong relations between their two countries and ways to further strengthen their countries' relationship, which will benefit their people.
The two leaders also discussed the latest political developments in the Middle East and ways to promote peace and stability in the region.
The meeting followed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed praised the Emir's efforts in bringing about this ceasefire.
The UAE President expressed his country's solidarity with Qatar and its people after the recent attack on the Al Udeid Air Base.
The UAE delegation included Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and several ministers and senior officials.
After the meeting between the leaders, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed left Qatar and the Emir of Qatar, along with several ministers and senior officials, bid him farewell.

UAE diplomat Anwar Gargash today said that Iran must rebuild trust with other Gulf countries and that the nation's decision affects them all, days after Tehran sent missiles to the Al Udeid military base in Qatar. In a comment on X, he said that the nations in the region had taken a stance against the Israeli war on Iran, "working through all international platforms to de-escalate the situation and calling for a resolution of outstanding issues—chief among them the nuclear file—through political means." Political consultations between UAE and Pakistan discuss deepening cooperation

The session was co-chaired by Reem Ketait, Deputy Assistant Minister for Political Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Shehryar Akbar Khan, Additional Foreign Secretary at Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign consultations were preceded by a high-level meeting between His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, as part of the 12th session of the UAE-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Commission, held in Abu the Political Consultations, both sides highlighted the enduring strength of the bilateral relationship.
