Banaganapalle: Minister for Roads & Buildings, Investments, and Infrastructure, BC Janardhan Reddy, emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to achieve the targets of Swarna Andhra Vision-2047 in Banaganapalle constituency.
Addressing the first Vision Action Plan Committee meeting held at the Mandal Parishad Office on Thursday, the minister directed officials to design a clear and comprehensive roadmap for local implementation.
Senior officials from various departments, RDOs, MPDOs, representatives from Ramco, Jai Jyothi, and UltraTech Cements, along with secretariat staff and Swarna Andhra Vision Committee members, were present. Minister Reddy stated that the P4 initiative (Public–Private–People Partnership for Progress), conceptualized under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, aims to bridge the socio-economic gap between the rich and the poor.
He stressed that inclusive development is only possible when communities, industrialists, officials, and elected representatives come together to support marginalized families at the grassroots level. The minister expressed confidence that such collaborative efforts would accelerate progress toward realizing the goals of the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision.
As part of the P4 programme, a survey conducted by secretariat staff across five mandals in the constituency has identified 6,500 'Golden Families.' To support these families, 157 mentors have been selected and linked with them.
Appreciating the mentors for their proactive participation, the minister instructed officials to expand outreach efforts and encourage more financially capable individuals—including landowners, businesspersons, NRIs, and professionals—to participate in the adoption programme and support more families.
The minister also underscored the importance of skill development for unemployed members within the identified families. Citing employment opportunities in local cement industries, he advised the District Skill Development Authority to focus on job-specific training in areas like machinery operation, fitting, and turning.
Highlighting the moral responsibility of industries that had acquired land from farmers, he called on them to prioritize offering jobs to those families. He concluded by urging officials to make Banaganapalle a role model for P4 implementation in the state, ensuring sustained and inclusive socio-economic progress.

Employment overseas: Ensuring good package, security our responsibility, says CM

Shimla, Jul 5 (PTI) Ensuring good packages and security is also our responsibility, besides sending people abroad to work from Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Saturday. "Our one-year-old efforts have become fruitful, and Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) has received the license as a registered recruitment agency, and the Ministry of External Affairs has provided us a list of jobs available in various countries," he added. Talking to reporters here, the chief minister said people have faith in government agencies and "ensuring good packages and security for our people is also our responsibility, besides sending Himachali abroad to work". "I have asked the officials to speak to ambassadors of the concerned countries and prepare written documents so that people of Himachal could get good packages abroad, worth the services provided by them," he added. Maintaining that the state government is committed to helping youth secure well-paying jobs abroad and protect them from potential exploitation, he said that nearly 0.2 per cent of Himachalis working overseas sent remittances totalling ₹ 2,030 crore, and an increase of 0.2 per cent would mean ₹ 4,000 crore. Earlier, the chief minister had instructed HPSEDC to collaborate with certified training agencies to enhance the skill development of the youth of the state in line with international job market requirements. He also directed the Labour and Employment Department to develop a dedicated website and mobile application to empower youth seeking employment opportunities abroad, and a database of Himachali NRIs. There is a strong demand for professionals like nurses, waiters, healthcare workers, clerks, drivers (light and heavy duty), machine operators, security guards, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, masons, welders, and mechanics in foreign countries and skilled youth in these trades is available in HP and HPSEDC will actively facilitate their overseas placements, according to a release.

CM Naidu orders formation of State-level executive, advisory panels for implementing P4 initiative

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ordered the formation of State-level executive and advisory committees for effective implementation of the P4 (Public - Private - People - Partnership) initiative in the maiden general body meeting of the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation held at the Secretariat on Friday. It was decided to form P4 chapters in each one of the district headquarters and in the constituencies. Addressing the meeting, Mr. Naidu said the government was implementing the P4 policy to improve the living standards of the poor, and told the officials to identify 15 lakh'Bangaru Kutumbams' and one lakh mentors by August 15. He noted that the P4 initiative was intended to extend long-term support to the poor, and said NRIs, industrialists and wealthy individuals should be roped in to hand-hold the poor families. He said the objective of the P-4 initiative was to eliminate poverty by 2029, while recalling the overwhelming response received by the Janmabhoomi programme, which helped create assets in villages and towns. Through P4, it was contemplated to assist the poor, thereby reducing inequalities. The top 10% of the rich people must be connected with the bottom 20%, who were languishing in poverty, he advised, and that the help being extended by the likes of Gates Foundation, Vedanta and GMR should be utilised. Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and others took part. The Chief Minister approved a logo for the P-4 initiative.
