Mumbai: Actor Ram Kapoor who was last seen in the streaming series 'Khalbali Records', has shared that once during his academic years, several Bollywood bigwigs stayed at his accommodations.
The actor recently appeared on choreographer Farah Khan's YouTube channel. During the show, Farah spoke about how at one point, Ram weighed over 150 kgs.
The actor said, 'When I was in college guys, this is for Farah Khan's audience, when I was in college in Los Angeles. I was in Los Angeles in acting school. In one of my houses, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Arbaaz Khan and Rajesh Sathi came for 2 weeks, and stayed with me. And that time I was the size of the planet Jupiter'.
Earlier, Farah reflected on her journey in Hindi cinema as she spoke about working with the next generation of stars. Farah revealed the emotional connection she shares with the children of some of the biggest stars she once worked with.
Speaking about choreographing Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late actress Sridevi, Farah shared, 'It was a surreal experience because literally, I think I was working with Aamir in 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' and after that Junaid was born. We all had gone to his house with Mansoor and everybody to congratulate him. Same with Sridevi also, I was quite close to her, Boney, and the whole Kapoor family. For me, it was very wonderful'.
She continued, 'It just feels weird that I've been around for so long. I don't feel it. It's just that when I shoot with these guys, I realize that, oh my god, I started my career with Aamir and now I'm choreographing his son'.

Anupam Kher recalls clash with Aamir Khan during Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin shoot

Actor Anupam Kher, who will soon be seen in 'Metro... In Dino', recently opened up about a past disagreement with Aamir Khan during the making of 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin'. He shared an incident from the film's climax that caused a rift between the two to Times Now, Anupam recalled, 'In the climax of 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin', the father tells his daughter to run away from the wedding. The moment was very exaggerated. I was fully ready to portray it, but Aamir Khan complained to Mukesh Bhatt sahab about my interpretations. He found it wrong and different. Bhatt sahab added fuel to the matter and told me about Aamir's comment."advertisementHe further shared how he responded to the criticism, saying, 'I am the gold medallist from the National School of Drama. I used an English phrase for Aamir Khan to shut him down. Aamir was upset with me throughout the film. He was at that stage of becoming Aamir Khan, which he wanted to become. All my love for him. I think Hindi film actors are much greater actors than people from the West because we do the most unconvincing things convincingly and convince 1.4 billion people.' 'Thug Life' OTT release: Kamal Haasan's starrer makes its OTT debut in multiple languages; find out where to watch

Picture Credit: Facebook After a disappointing theatrical release, the massive star-studded Kamal Haasan 's action-packed gangster drama 'Thug Life' has finally made its digital debut. The Mani Ratnam directorial, which hit the big screens on June 5 amid massive expectations, is now streaming on OTT. The film is now streaming on Netflix in five languages—Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—from July 2. — Netflix_INSouth (@Netflix_INSouth) Despite the film's initial hype, 'Thug Life' came out as a disaster after failing to pull box office numbers. Initially, the makers had announced that the movie wouldn't arrive on digital platforms before completing an eight-week theatrical window. However, in a change of plans, 'Thug Life' arrived on OTT just under a month after its release. Netflix India officially confirmed the streaming release with a post on X (formerly Twitter): "Ithu Rangaraya Sakthivel-kum yamanukum nadakura poti. Watch Thug Life, now on Netflix in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam." 'Thug Life' is the story of Rangaraaya Sakthivel , a notorious gangster played by Kamal Haasan. During a violent shootout with a rival gang, Sakthivel saves and subsequently adopts a young orphan named Amaran, mistaking him for the boy who protected him during the crossfire. Years later, as Sakthivel returns from prison, he is faced with a dramatically changed world, one where Amaran has risen in influence and begun to be seen as his successor. The plot takes a dark turn as Amaran, now an adult, falls prey to manipulations and plots Sakthivel's assassination. The movie also features Silambarasan TR , Trisha Krishnan , Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Rohit Saraf , Joju George, and Mahesh Manjrekar. The music has been composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman. 'Thug Life' is the second collaboration between Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam after the 1987 film 'Nayakan.' The film opened to mixed to negative reviews due to its pacing and weak storyline, which also led to a poor box office run. While it may not have made the desired impact in theaters, its OTT release gives the film a second life and perhaps a better chance to reach its intended audience.
