The 2025 edition of KVIFF runs July 4-12. The star-studded festival will honor Dakota Johnson, Stellan Skarsgård, Peter Sarsgaard and Vicky Krieps, with Michael Douglas also traveling to the picturesque Czech spa town to present a screening of a newly restored version of Czech-American directing legend Milos Forman's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, on which Douglas was a producer and which starred Jack Nicholson.

Lauren Sánchez is a third-generation Mexican-American. She is really proud of her Latina heritage and openly celebrates her culture alongside friends like Eva Longoria. In a joint interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the actress and former journalist gushed over their tight bond over their heritage. 'You and I constantly have these conversations that inspire each other. Instead of sending each other memes, we send [reports] about the Latin community not being represented in TV and movies and the media.' 'I know, we send each other white papers. I'll send you a study, and you'll text back, 'I already read it,'' Lauren replied. Though she embraces her heritage at every turn, one thing she regrets is not speaking Spanish. 'We bond and we clash in the best possible way. We live in Miami now, and his dad, Mike, comes over. They make churros on Sunday for the kids. I'm sitting there, and they only want to put sugar on them. I'm like, 'No, no, no, no. You need to put sugar. You need to put cinnamon. Where's the chocolate sauce? I'll put Tajín on it.' It's very interesting how they're both just like, 'simple, Lauren. Simple.' It's little things like that.' She continued talking about celebrating holidays that are close to her heart, 'We celebrate Día de los Muertos together every Thanksgiving. So I think she had something injected into her face – either filler, fat, or cheek implants.' 'She's not showing a lot of signs of aging, and she's 55 years old. 'Over the last two or three years, their marriage felt more like a business relationship,' the insider said. 'They both were doing their own thing.' The source added, 'She would be out and about a lot and he was never with her.' Whitesell also seems to know Bezos. The same month news broke of Whitesell and Sanchez's divorce, the former couple were seen talking with Bezos at Amazon's Golden Globes afterparty. 'Jeff was in great spirits and having lots of fun. He had a crowd of people around him. Lauren was there but wasn't with Jeff all the time. Her husband was there, too,' the insider said. The source also dispelled rumors that Sanchez cheated on Whitesell with Bezos, claiming that the two had been separated 'for a while' and that Whitesell knew of Bezos and Sanchez's relationship. In the book, Stone even included an alleged conversation between Bezos and an executive at Amazon, where he seemingly confirmed his romance with Sanchez. 'Just to set the record straight, I did have a relationship with this woman,' Bezos told executives, according to an excerpt of the book published by The New York Post. 'But the story is completely wrong and out of order. MacKenzie and I have had good, healthy adult conversations about it. She is fine. The kids are fine. The media is having a field day. All of this is very distracting, so thank you for being focused on the business.' Stone also reported that dozens of Amazon employees were 'surprised and disappointed by Bezos' affair.' 'Their infallible and righteous leader was, after all, a flawed human,' he wrote. Bezos and Scott married in 1993 and share four children: three sons and one daughter. Their names and birthdates haven't been publicly released except for their eldest son, Preston. The couple adopted their daughter from China. Sanchez, for her part, has three kids.
