One UI 7 reaches the Samsung Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A16

One UI 7 has started rolling out to entry-level Galaxy phones – reports from Korea indicate that the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A16 (the 4G models) are now seeing the update.
Both phones launched with Android 14/One UI 6.1 and this is their first major OS update. The A15 will get three more, while the A16 gets the premium treatment and can expect five more. Both phones use the Helio G99, by the way.

We're not seeing reports about the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A16 5G yet, but they can't be far behind. They also launched with Android 14 and will receive 4 and 6 OS updates, respectively. They do have newer chipsets – Dimensity 6100+ for the A15 5G and Dimensity 6300/Exynos 1330 for the A16 5G.
There's also the question of when other regions will see the update. It's usually a gradual rollout, in case of issues. According to the official roadmap, the Galaxy A15 was supposed to get the update in June, so this is ahead of schedule (the A16 was planned for May). The roadmap doesn't list the 4G and 5G models separately, though, suggesting that they are meant to launch at the same time.

When you think of Galaxy S25 Edge alternatives, your mind doesn't immediately jump to the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, but maybe it should. This phone is a much closer match to the thin Galaxy than you'd think. At just 5.95mm, it's only slightly thicker than the S25 Edge (5.8mm). This green model has what Infinix calls a Scent Weave Leather finish. It's a textured surface with a grippy feel, and it feels excellent to the touch. The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ feels like a blade in the hand. Its curved front and rear panels are joined by a thin frame, making the package feel very refined. A thin frame The Hot 60 Pro+ looks very similar to the Hot 60 Pro from the front and back. But it's the profile that distinguishes the two. While the Pro+ has curving front and rear panels and a thin frame with rounded corners, the Pro has flat panels and a wide, flat side frame. Nintendo sold almost 6 million Switch 2 units in less than a month
The Switch 2 continues to be a very successful product for Nintendo. Following over 3.5 million units sold in the first week, Nintendo has now announced that it's sold 5.82 million units by the end of June. That's almost a full month of availability, and the number is more than double what the original Switch managed in its first month on the market - 2.7 million units sold. Nintendo says demand for the Switch 2 is still exceeding supply "in many countries", and regrets the inconvenience this is causing. It's promised to increase production to match demand everywhere. The Switch 2 has become the fastest-selling game console of all time. The Switch 2's success has driven a 132% rise in quarterly revenue for Nintendo in Q2 (April to June), up to $3.8 billion, compared to Q2 2024 (around $1.6 billion). The company is forecasting 15 million Switch 2 units sold by the end of March next year. It remains to be seen how US tariffs may or may not impact that, as the Trump administration has just announced a 20% tariff on imports from Vietnam, where the Switch 2 is manufactured (up from 10% before). Samsung Galaxy S25 FE full specs leak
Vlad, 01 August 2025 Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE has been in the rumors a lot lately, and today a full list of its most important specs has been outed. Let's dive right in. The phone is powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC, a slight upgrade from the Exynos 2400e in its predecessor. This is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE The S25 FE comes with a 6.7-inch 1080x2340 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus on top, a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 12 MP f/2.2 selfie snapper, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. It measures 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4mm and weighs 190g. It's IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It will launch running Android 16 with One UI 8 on top. So, compared to its predecessor, the S25 FE has a better chipset, a higher-res selfie camera, faster wired charging, and a smaller battery - the S24 FE has a 4,700 mAh cell. That wasn't a great size to begin with, but cutting it even further... we can't say we necessarily understand Samsung's logic here. Anyway, according to Samsung itself, the S25 FE will launch earlier in the year than the S24 FE did - and that one was unveiled at the end of September.
