Ferne McCann is one of millions who are pocketing extra cash from clothes gathering dust in their wardrobe. The former TOWIE star has been making money using the online selling app Vinted with some of her designer gear being sold at a fraction of the cost they'd cost in the shops.
Selling under the username @fernemccann, she has close to 100 items listed on Vinted. Based on Ferne's review history, the mum-of-two has been earning cash from this side hustle since 2022 and gained an almost perfect five-star status on the app.
Ferne can be seen modelling some of the clothes. The TV star also posted snaps of the clothes hanging from a door or scattered on the floor.
She's gotten rid of some items from her wardrobe including a grey jumper from H&M that sold for £6. Her most recent listing is a Day 6 Satin Maxi Dress that sold for £35.
In one listing, Ferne is donning a brown, size medium Bershka dress that she's hoping to make £17 from. Some of her pricier items include a size small Karen Millen top with an £85 price tag.

Ferne's most expensive item is a size six, black and white pair of studded Valentino heels that are up for grabs at £180. An orange cord from Secret Sewing Rooms and advertised at £45 was uploaded six months ago but has yet to sell , as reported by What's the Jam
The 34-year-old has already managed to sell a grey Zara skirt for a fiver as well as £4 from a yellow Pretty Little Thing bucket hat and £4 from a white H&M top. Not all sales were small though as a pair of white Dr Marten boots brought in £69 and a pink Self Portrait dress that she appeared to wear to the races sold for £80.
As well as her own clothes, the mum has made some space in her kids' wardrobes by selling on some of their designer gear from £18. These include a grey Kenzo baby romper and a red and white Burberry polo dress.

How does Vinted work?
Vinted is a platform that allows people to buy and sell pre-owned items online - typically clothing, but also includes a range of other categories like homeware. It operates as a marketplace where sellers list items with photos and descriptions, and buyers browse and make purchases.
Once an item is sold, the seller receives a prepaid shipping label and has a set time (usually 5 days) to ship the item to the buyer. Vinted handles the payment, and once the buyer confirms receipt of the item, the funds are released to the seller's Vinted balance. The seller can then transfer their Vinted balance to their bank account
Ferne made a name for herself on TOWIE when she joined the show in 2013. She went on to compete in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2015 alongside fellow reality stars Vicky Pattison and Spencer Matthews.
She launched her own reality series in 2017 called First Time Mum about her experiences as a single mother with her child. It was later rebranded as 'My Family & Me', following the birth of her second child, but the show was shelved after 13 series in 2024.

During that time, the 34-year-old took part in Celebrity Best Home Cook and won when competing in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Most recently, she took part in the 2025 series of Dancing on Ice where she partnered with Brendyn Hatfield and was the second couple eliminated from the competition.

Rochelle Humes' 'perfect' summer shirt that's 'loose, light and cool'
The Next linen shirt is £46 and available in several colours and prints Rochelle Humes has been showcasing a stylish shirt over at Next, which is available in several colours and patterns. Linen shirts are a staple in the summer because they can be paired with almost everything, including denim cut-offs, jeans, shirts and dresses - or as a beach cover-up. Next's 100% Linen Button Down Relaxed Long Sleeve Shirt is £46 and comes in stone, white, navy, pink, striped ecru, brown stripes, pink stripes, black and a palm print option. It is ordered in sizes 6-22, with availability depending on which hue shoppers pick - there's also regular and petite lengths. Rochelle styles the stone-coloured shirt with a brown bikini top and denim cut-offs for a poolside-ready look. Linen is all over the high street this summer, and there are alternatives to Next's shirt. For brighter printed options, look to H&M, where this black botanical printed shirt is £37.99. The brand describes it as a 'loose-fit shirt in an airy linen', choose from sizes extra, extra small to extra, extra large. Meanwhile, M&S is selling a pure linen Oversized Girlfriend Style Shirt for £39.50. It comes in sizes 6-24. The model pairs it over a cream swimsuit for a holiday look. Next's linen shirt has stellar reviews and ratings from shoppers. One shopper who bought the linen shirt in white said: "This shirt is a perfect summer shirt—loose, light, and cool. As with most white linen, it is slightly see-through but definitely not too revealing. It's perfect for me worn open or buttoned over a cami top." Another added: "Lovely quality white linen shirt. Ideal for throwing on over a top and shorts or wearing with leggings or trousers. Versatile item, I should get plenty of wear out of." Prospective buyers who have never ordered anything online from Next can find reviews and ratings of its delivery service on Trustpilot. One reviewer commented: "Easy to order, swiftly delivered. Exactly what I ordered did arrive. Perfect." Another had issues with their delivery, saying: "Wouldn't confirm the name of the recipient for my order and delivered on a different day to what was requested." Back to the product reviews, a buyer of the linen shirt in navy said: "Really nice navy linen shirt with contrasting buttons. I normally wear a size 12 but this was far too big so I sized down to a 10 and this fits really nicely." The shopper did have a gripe with the length, adding: "A bit long in the arm but still worth it. Lovely colour. Good quality. Very happy."

Example issues apology after cancelling gig last minute after Glastonbury
Singer Example was forced to issue an apology to fans after cancelling his performance in Aberdeen just hours after jumping around on stage at Glastonbury Example issued an apology to fans after he was forced to cancel his performance in Aberdeen - the day after his gig at Glastonbury. The 43 year old singer, who shot to fame in 2010 with his hit album Won't Go Quietly, claimed that he suffered from sound issues while on stage at Glastonbury which caused his voice to strain. And the next day, just before he was due on stage in Aberdeen, he said he realised his voice had gone and was "absolutely gutted." Example, who was born Elliot John Gleave, had performed on the Shangri-La stage on Friday. Penning his apology to his adoring fans, he said: "During my set at Glastonbury, we experienced some unexpected sound issues that forced me to push my voice much harder than usual." He added: "I could feel it starting to go, so we made the difficult decision to cut the set short by 20 minutes to protect it ahead of today's performance at Granite City Festival Aberdeen." He continued: "I left the site immediately after the show and arrived at Gatwick by 7am, managing to get a few hours' sleep before my flight to Aberdeen. " He went on to say: "Unfortunately when I woke up, my voice was completely gone." He conclude his apology saying:"I hate cancelling shows - over the past 21 years, I've played 1,534 gigs and only ever cancelled 11. " " Scotland has always been my favourite place to perform and this was an incredibly hard decision to make.," he said. To everyone who was planning to see me today - and to the Granite City Festival team - I'm truly sorry. We'll make it up to you, E x." Aware his explanation as to why he cancelled his Aberdeen gig, it seems he feared that he was laying blame on the production team at Glastonbury. And so he quickly wrote: "This isn't a dig at the production crew. These things just happen sometimes." He went on to say: "One of the smaller stages at Glastonbury. Except when we turn up. " Thanking the organisers, he said: "Honestly thank you so much for having me last night. No artists make any money at Glastonbury. And that's fine. It's one of the most magical places on earth." He added: "I still want Pyramid stage. But I'm not going away just yet. I have patience. Gotta rest up so I can fly back to Australia tomorrow and be a professional Dad. Big love. E x."
