Shiv Sena (UBT) Should Exit MVA, INDIA Bloc If Committed To Hindutva: Manisha Kayande

Senior Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande launched a scathing attack on opposition leaders, questioning their stance on Hindutva and accusing them of maligning the Hindu community for political gains. In a pointed statement, she demanded that Shiv Sena(UBT) walk out of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and the INDIA bloc if it still stands by its saffron ideology. Kayande's remarks came in response to recent comments made by NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Jitendra Awhad, who said, "Sanatan Dharma has ruined India". Kayande, while slamming Awhad, told IANS, 'His only agenda has been to defame Hindus and indulge in Muslim appeasement. He consistently questions police investigations and state systems just to further his political ambitions.' Targeting former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, she said, 'We went to the Tilak Bhavan, the Congress headquarters here, and sought its shutdown. This party behaves like the 'Pakistan National Congress'. The term 'saffron terrorism' was first coined by Congress and Sharad Pawar, but the truth is, a Hindu has never been a terrorist. Sadhvi Pragya and Lt. Col. Purohit were falsely implicated, but the NIA court has proven that the so-called Hindu terrorism narrative was fabricated.' Speaking on Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur's claim that there was a conspiracy to trap Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kayande said, 'She was tortured mentally, physically, and socially for 17 years. Despite being a Member of Parliament, she was denied justice. Col. Purohit, who served the nation, was also a victim of this conspiracy. We welcome the NIA court's verdict.' On Uddhav Thackeray attending the INDIA bloc meeting on August 7, she remarked, 'If Uddhav ji is attending the INDIA bloc meeting, he must show courage. Shiv Sena's mouthpiece 'Saamana' had earlier criticised the idea of saffron terror. Now, the Congress, which leads this bloc, openly uses that term. If Shiv Sena truly believes in its saffron ideology, it should immediately withdraw from both the MVA and the INDIA bloc.'

PCB Issues Blanket Ban On Future Participation In WCL After 2025 Edition Embarrassment

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that it is issuing a blanket ban on future participation in the World Championship of Legends (WCL). As per the governing body of Pakistan cricket, WCL's statement and actions, following the decision by India Legends to pull out of the semi-final against Pakistan, were 'tainted with hypocrisy and bias' 'The PCB, during its 79th BoG meeting held virtually under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi reviewed with considerable disappointment WCL's appalling conduct of awarding points to a willfully forfeiting team, and the content of the press releases of the WCL announcing the cancellation of the scheduled India vs. Pakistan legends matches, which were tainted with hypocrisy and bias. 'The contents of the said press releases highlight a duality where the narrative of 'peace through sport' is selectively applied and sporting events are held hostage to political expediency and narrow commercial interests. 'In light of this unfortunate development, which underscores a clear and intolerable pattern of external influence and a disregard for the principles of sporting neutrality, the Pakistan Cricket Board is compelled to take a firm stance. The PCB can no longer condone participation in an event where the fundamental principles of fair play and unbiased administration are compromised by external pressures,' read the statement by PCB. Several Indian players, including Shikhar Dhawan, had voiced their refusal to face Pakistan in Birmingham in the league stage of the tournament. The two sides were slated to meet again in the semi-finals before team India opted to pull out of the game instead. PCB's virtual BoG meeting was attended by Sumair Ahmed Syed, Salman Naseer, Zaheer Abbas, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafarullah Jadgal, Tanveer Ahmed, Tariq Sarwar, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Anwaar Ahmad Khan, Adnan Malik, Usman Wahla (special invitee) and Mir Hassan Naqvi (Additional Secretary).

Trump fell for Pakistan's oil hoax, Baloch leader warns of strategic consequences and terror financing

US President Donald Trump Synopsis Mir Yar Baloch rejects Pakistan's claim over Balochistan's oil reserves. This follows a US-Pakistan trade agreement. Baloch asserts the resources belong to the Baloch people. He warns against empowering Pakistan's ISI. Balochistan declared independence in May 2025. He urges international recognition. Trump announced a deal with Pakistan to develop oil reserves. The post has triggered renewed debate over resource ownership. After US President Donald Trump announced a trade agreement with Pakistan to explore a "massive oil reserve," prominent Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch has publicly rejected Islamabad's claim over the resource-rich territory, asserting that the oil, gas, and mineral reserves lie within the sovereign territory of Balochistan, not Pakistan. ADVERTISEMENT In a letter addressed to Trump and shared via X (formerly Twitter), Mir Yar Baloch declared that Pakistan is making false claims to access the region's mineral wealth for financial gain. He emphasised that the resources, including rare earth elements, copper, lithium, uranium, and oil, belong exclusively to the Baloch people and cannot be bartered or sold by the Pakiststate. "#BalochistanIsNotPakistan," Mir Yar Baloch posted, warning that the Pakistani military had gravely misled US and UN officials, particularly Army Chief General Asim Munir, who reportedly discussed the Balochistan mineral reserves with Trump during a June meeting at the White to The CSR Journal, the Baloch leader called the deal a "strategic mistake," asserting that any partnership with Pakistan over Balochistan's resources would empower the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), which he described as a rogue agency with a long record of sponsoring terrorism."Allowing Pakistan's radicalised military and ISI, known for supporting Al-Qaeda and proxy jihadist groups, to exploit Balochistan's trillion-dollar reserves would directly finance global terror," the letter read. "It would endanger regional stability and could contribute to attacks reminiscent of 9/11." ADVERTISEMENT Mir Yar Baloch warned that profits generated through such deals would not reach the Baloch people but would instead fund anti-India and anti-Israel militant operations. He also reiterated that Balochistan declared itself an independent republic in May 2025 and urged the global community to recognise its sovereignty."These reserves are not in Punjab, which is the actual Pakistan," he said. "They belong to the Republic of Balochistan, currently under illegal occupation." ADVERTISEMENT He concluded with a stark message: "Balochistan is not for sale. We will not permit Pakistan, China, or any foreign power to exploit our land or its resources without the explicit consent of the Baloch people. Our sovereignty is non-negotiable."The post has triggered renewed debate over resource ownership, foreign involvement, and Pakistan's decades-long occupation of Balochistan. Whether the international community heeds this warning remains to be seen. ADVERTISEMENT Trump had recently posted on his Truth Social platform, "We have just concluded a deal with the country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive oil reserves." "We are in the process of choosing the oil company that will lead this partnership," Trump added. "Who knows, maybe they'll be selling oil to India someday!"
