Apple TV+ Debuts First Look at 'Ted Lasso' Season 4
Bring out your AFC Richmond jerseys —Ted LassoSeason 4 has officially begun production, withApple TV+sharing a first look at the return of the beloved series.
The first-look image sees a portion of the original cast, namely Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton and Jeremy Swift as Leslie Heggins, sitting at a restaurant table while lovingly looking at each other. Season 4's official logline reads, 'Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women's football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.'
Also reprising their roles from the previous seasons are Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard. Meanwhile, Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely will join the cast. Feely will take over the role of Ted's son Henry; the characters of the rest of the cast are yet to be announced. The return of the rest of AFC Richmond, including Phil Dunster's Jamie Tartt and Nick Mohammed's Nate Shelley, were not revealed.
Ted Lassofirst debuted in 2020 and went on to run for three seasons. It was nominated for a whopping 61 Emmy Awards and took home 13, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting awards.

We're Finally Getting A Holiday Follow-Up After Years Of Asking. While It's Not Exactly What I Wanted, I Am Intrigued

For years, there has been buzz and rumors about a sequel to The Holiday as well as multiple shutdowns of said rumors. However, it would seem that the iconic rom-com is finally getting a continuation…However, it's not The Holiday 2. Instead, it's being reported that this iconic movie is being adapted into a limited series over at Apple TV+. While this isn't exactly what I wanted, I have to say, I am intrigued. The Holiday Is Being Adapted Into A TV Show At Apple TV+ The Holiday is considered not only one of the best Christmas movies but one of the best rom-coms. The tale of two single women, who are played by Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, switching homes and falling in love in their new cities is such a cozy one that so many adore. And now, it seems like a home switch will happen again, but with all new people. It's been reported that The Holiday will be adapted into a limited series at Apple TV+, according to Deadline. Krissie Ducker, who wrote and co-executive-produced the Ella Purnell-led series Sweetpea, will be a writer and EP on this show. It will also be produced by Left Bank Pictures. Along with them, Rob Delaney has signed on as a writer as well. A casting search is reportedly already underway, and the project is looking for well-known actresses to play the leads. This makes sense considering Winslet and Diaz, as well as the actors playing their love interests, Jack Black and Jude Law, were all very well known when they were cast in the 2006 movie. If they find their leads, the series will allegedly get the green light. The downside is, reportedly, Nancy Meyers has no involvement in this new iteration of her story. Obviously, I Wanted The Holiday 2. However, This New Series Has My Attention Now, Meyers not being attached throws up a big caution flag in my mind. However, there are other elements of this new series that make me very, very excited. Specifically, Rob Delaney's involvement really intrigues me. He notably co-created, wrote, and executive-produced the acclaimed Amazon Prime series Catastrophe with Sharon Horgan. That series is about an American man and an Irish woman who hook up and wind up dealing with an accidental pregnancy. It ran for four seasons, which gives me confidence in Delaney's ability to help create a new romantic comedy. Along with that, while he's not attached to star in this Holiday adaptation, Rob Delaney is an amazing actor and romantic lead. From Catastrophe to Dying for Sex (for which he got a 2025 Emmy nomination), he's shown off his comedic, dramatic and romantic acting skills on many occasions. So, personally, I think he'd also be a fun person to actually star in this show as well. So, taking into account who is involved, consider me cautiously optimistic and intrigued when it comes to this new iteration of The Holiday. While it's no The Holiday 2, you better believe I'll be using my Apple TV+ subscription to tune in and see this new take on a beloved rom-com classic. Solve the daily Crossword

‘The Naked Gun': What Happens In End-Credits And Post-Credits Scenes?
Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's The Naked Gun has end-credits and post-credits scenes that you may want to stick around for, especially if you're a fan of the original Naked Gun movies and Police Squad! TV series. Directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live) and produced by Seth McFarlane, The Naked Gun opens in theaters nationwide on Friday. In the film, Police Squad Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Neeson) follows in the bumbling footsteps of his late father, Lt. Frank Drebin Sr. (Nielsen). Nielsen, of course, originated the role of Drebin in Police Squad!, which had a six-episode run on ABC-TV in 1982. After that, Drebin's character leaped to the big screen with The Naked Gun: From The Files of Police Squad! in 1988, followed by the sequels The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear in 1991 and The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult in 1994. The new version of The Naked Gun continues the same comedic pattern as Police Squad! and the original Naked Gun trilogy with plenty of sight gags, slapstick and base humor. Anderson stars as Beth Davenport opposite Neeson's Frank Jr. in The Naked Gun, as the pair attempt to bring down tech billionaire Richard Cane (Danny Huston) for murdering Beth's brother to obtain a computer device for nefarious intentions. Rated PG-13, The Naked Gun also stars Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy and Eddie Yu. Note: The next section reveals spoilers of what happens during the end-credits and post-credits scenes for "The Naked Gun." The End Credits For 'The Naked Gun' First Recall A 'Police Squad!' Gag Generally, end-credits and/or post-credits scenes either wrap up loose ends from earlier in a film or signal the potential for a sequel. As such, the post-credits scene alludes to a scene earlier in The Naked Gun, but the end credits scenes don't necessarily indicate that another movie is on the way. That doesn't mean a sequel won't happen. It's just like any other movie, The Naked Gun's future depends on the film's reception at the box office. The first end credits scene gives a big nod to the end credits of the Police Squad! series, which mocked freeze-frame endings of sitcoms at the time. The only thing is, the frame didn't freeze during the end credits, and instead Nielsen and his co-stars would remain still in their poses for the duration. The end credits for the new Naked Gun begin with a shot from the newly reopened Police Squad headquarters, which was shut down by the city's mayor due to Frank Drebin Jr.'s wreckless actions. However, thanks to Drebin's heroic actions, Frank Jr.'s boss, Chief Davis (CCH Pounder), announces at a press conference that Police Squad's office headquarters is reopening. While speaking, Chief Davis told reporters Drebin would be held accountable for all of the crimes he committed while pursuing Richard Cane and that he was undergoing an Internal Affairs investigation. The scene then cuts to an Internal Affairs gathering, which is essentially one big party set at a tropical resort. While Frank Jr. and Beth are conversing, the film goes into freeze-frame mode, a la Police Squad! and the two hold their poses. However, when they take notice of their strange surroundings, Frank Jr. and Beth unfreeze and start to examine the frozen characters and the environment they're stuck in. The scene ends with Frank Jr. and Beth breaking the fourth wall and starting to talk to the audience, with Frank Jr. eventually attempting to poke his way through the big screen. The second end-credits scene is not really a scene, but more of an homage to the opening of Nielsen's Police Squad! series and Naked Gun movies. Each of them began with a shot from the viewpoint of the top of a police squad and a single flashing emergency light as the car drives around the city. The scene ends in front of a doughnut shop, which, of course, alludes to the cliché that all police officers have an affinity for doughnuts. Following the second end-credits scene, the credits continue to roll as we hear Neeson singing a racy song ballad, 'My Sweet Beth,' which was written by director Akiva Schaffer and songwriter Greg Chun (Don't be surprised if Paramount Pictures submits the tune for Best Original Song consideration during awards season). The post-credits scene wraps up a scene from earlier in the film, where 'Weird Al' Yankovic appeared in a promotion for a 'Doomsday' party that was meant to take place once Richard Cane exacted his plans for himself and a group of fellow billionaires to start a new version of society. The post-credits scene shows Yankovic — who played himself in cameos for the first three Naked Gun movies — playing in front of a bunch of empty chairs at a celebration meant for the billionaires before Cane's plans went off the rails. The Naked Gun opens Friday in theaters nationwide.

Jason Momoa believes it's his 'destiny' to tell the story of Hawaii
Jason Momoa believes it's his "destiny" to tell the story of Hawaii. The Aquaman star explores his Hawaiian heritage in new Apple TV+ series Chief of War - which tells the story of the unification of the islands at the turn of the 18th century - and he is convinced the stars have aligned to bring him to a place in his career where he could show the lives of his ancestors onscreen. He told PEOPLE: "I feel like this whole thing has chosen me in a way, like this is my destiny," he says. "I have no idea how I got to all this, but we're here, and I'm very grateful. I'm living my dream doing what I love to do. To play my ancestors is such a responsibility. It's scary and exciting." Jason added: "My dad is a coach at an outrigger canoe club, which is where I learned how to surf. "Just this morning, the sand pulled back and revealed massive petroglyphs [ancient carvings] right in the place where I grew up. It's kind of insane. I've never experienced that before." The actor also got the chance to write and direct while working on the show and he has insisted he's finally get the chance to show a different side to himself. He told the Metro newspaper: "It's my heart and soul. This has been in me my whole life. I'm ready. Put it on me. " I feel like I've been mismanaged and people don't really know who I am, since the beginning, so now I finally get a chance to [show] 'No, I can direct and write'." Jason went on to applaud bosses at Apple for taking a chance on a show about Hawaii's history, adding: "It's a bold thing to do. "I think Apple had a lot of trust in us, because there's nothing to prove it against. No one's ever heard the language. There's a lot of actors that have never been seen before. It's a lot ... "There's a lot of change and a lot to bring back of a culture that was … Our language is banned from us and we're getting it back. A lot of our art … We're part of America and I don't think anyone really knows anything about us. "[We] really have to celebrate Apple for just taking on something that's this big, and putting the trust in me ... "
