Bruce Willis had his first three children in the late 80s and 90s, with actress and ex-wife, Demi Moore.
The couple split in the late 90s and Bruce went on to have two more children with model Emma Heming who he married in March 2009.
The five girls, along with Demi and Emma, released a joint statement in March 2022 sharing that Bruce had been diagnosed with aphasia and would retire from acting.
Aphasia is a medical condition resulting in the inability to understand words and communicate clearly, aphasia typically occurs after a stroke or head injury.
Then, 10 months later, another statement was shared which revealed that he received a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
FTD is "an umbrella term for a group of brain diseases that mainly affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain", according to the Mayo Clinic.
The site states: "These areas of the brain are associated with personality, behavior, and language."
Born August 16, 1988, in Kentucky, Rumer is the first daughter of Demi and Bruce.
She made her film debut in Now And Then (1995), acting alongside her mother, and has also appeared in three films with her father - The Whole Nine Years (2000), Hostage (2005), and Air Strike (2018).
In 2015 she made her Broadway debut in the musical Chicago and also won season 20 of Dancing with the Stars.

She also starred in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as actress Joanna Pettet.
In her new movie, out in theatres now, Rumer is playing a widow on the warpath in filmmaker Johnny Remo's Trail of Vengeance.
And she has praised her father's career as part of the reason for her own desire to jump into the genre.
In a recent interview she said: "My dad is such an action man."
She added: "My mom's done her fair share [of action] as well."
Mom Demi starred in GI Jane and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Speaking to People magazine, mom-of-one Rumer said that she "would love to do an action movie with" Demi, calling the idea "so fun".
She added: "I felt like a little kid when I found out I got [this role]"
She also shared that she is a huge fan of the Western genre including Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone and 1883.
Set in 1875, Trails of Vengeance follows Rumer's character, Katherine Atherton, a widow whose life is upended by her husband's murder, orchestrated by a nefarious colonel.
But in her quest for vengeance, she unexpectedly crosses paths with a former Pinkerton agent, a man with a troubled past.

Shocking moment NFL star George Kittle drop kicks rival during star-studded golf tournament

San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle is a big fan of wrestling, having been seen ringside at many WWE events in the past. However, at the celebrity-studded American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, Kittle was able to break out some of those wrestling moves he's seen - only this time, on a golf course. Kittle was partnered with WWE superstar The Miz for the unofficial tournament which has generated large crowds at the Edgewood Tahoe resort for years. On the tee at one of the holes, Kittle and Miz appeared to drum up a 'work' when the wrestler feigned annoyance with the NFL star and shoved him. Kittle backed up as the wrestler turned around to pump up the crowd, leading the Niner to crouch down. As Miz turned around, Kittle wound up and 'kicked' him in the face - emulating wrestling icon Shawn Michaels' signature finisher, the 'Sweet Chin Music'. Kittle has let his love of the sport be well known, especially after cameras caught him at Wrestlemania many times in the past. He even got in the ring at Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles. The Niners superstar has hinted that he'd consider a career in sports entertainment after he's done with football. 'I would love to do WWE,' Kittle said on the Bussin' With the Boys podcast. 'I think there's definitely opportunity within that world, and I would love nothing more than to be a part of it.' 'My only question mark with that is I so much love being a fan of WWE. I would only do WWE if I bought a ring and practiced my ass off for a while so I wouldn't look like an idiot out there,' Kittle said. 'I've been in a WWE ring like three times. I don't know what I'm doing out there. I have an understanding of how it works, but I haven't moonsaulted off the top rope at WrestleMania like Pat McAfee did. Like what Logan Paul does.'

Ellen DeGeneres supports Rosie O'Donnell after Trump threatens to revoke her citizenship

Ellen DeGeneres showed public support for Rosie O'Donnell, whose US citizenship President Donald Trump threatened to revoke, just three months after Rosie accused Ellen of never saying 'anything political in her life.' It all began Saturday when the 79-year-old Republican politician vowed on Truth Social: 'Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her citizenship. 'She is a threat to humanity, and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her. God bless America!' On Sunday, the 67-year-old canceled comedian - who boasts 293.1M social media followers - shared Donald's post and gave a shout-out to the 63-year-old comedian: 'Good for you @rosie.' Ironically, the lesbian funnywomen have never shared more in common - being former TV titans who both left the States for the UK following Trump's re-election last November. 'I've never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,' Rosie (born Roseann) marveled to Us Weekly last April. 'I've been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it's just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving.' O'Donnell continued: 'It's not like we're tenaciously opposed to each other. We're just very different people. We have had some stuff in the past that we never resolved. And not in any way as, as partners or lovers or anything like that, just as friends and comedians, but I wish her the best. I seriously do.' The Long Island native's 'past' comment was referring to when DeGeneres told the late Larry King that she didn't know Rosie and was not her friend, which deeply upset her because they were close in the nineties. 'Ellen wrote [in a text], "I'm really sorry and I don't remember that,"' Rosie recalled to THR in 2023. 'It would never occur to me to say "I don't know her" about somebody whose babies I held when they were born. It wouldn't be in my lexicon of choices to ever say. When she was in a perplexing situation and people were saying things about her, I said, "Let me stand next to you and say that I'm Lebanese, too." When it was a downward media time for me, she didn't do anything.' The 34-time Emmy winner is reportedly 'never coming back' to the States after moving to a farmhouse in Cotswolds, England where she and her wife Portia DeGeneres are raising chickens and goats. Last Thursday, Ellen and the 52-year-old retired actress enjoyed seeing the 'amazing' Billie Eilish at The O2 Arena in London, and they'll celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary on August 16. DeGeneres notoriously got 'kicked out of show business for being mean' after her former self-titled daytime talk show ended following 19 seasons after being hit with racism, workplace bullying, and sexual harassment claims in 2022. Chelsea win FIFA Club World Cup with victory over PSG - as Donald Trump presents trophy

Chelsea have thrashed European champions Paris Saint-Germain to win FIFA's Club World Cup - with Donald Trump joining the players at the trophy presentation. The US president gave the Chelsea players their winners' medals and the Club World Cup trophy following the final at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Mr Trump also gave PSG their runners-up medals. The French side were the heavy favourites to win the final but were 3-0 down within 43 minutes. They eventually finished the game with 10 men after midfielder Joao Neves pulled Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella's hair in the 85th minute. Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer had scored almost identical finishes in the 22nd and 30th minute to give the West London side a two-goal advantage a third of the way through the tie. The England international later played a neat pass to Brazilian forward Joao Pedro - who lifted the ball over PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to give the Blues a three-goal advantage just before half-time. PSG came out strong at the start of the second half and nearly narrowed the deficit in the 53rd minute when Ousmane Dembele struck at goal from six yards. However, it was well-saved by Chelsea keeper Robert Sanchez who put in a strong performance all night for the West London side. Goalscorer Pedro received a standing ovation from the Chelsea fans as he was replaced by Liam Delap on the 67th minute. Following the final whistle, players from both sides appeared to be involved in a large altercation on the pitch. PSG coach Luis Enrique appeared to grab at Pedro's neck while he and Donnarumma confronted Chelsea players. The pre-match programme, which included a performance from Robbie Williams and a US Air Force flyover, overran and led to a kick-off delay. A musical medley which featured J Balvin, Doja Cat, Tems and Chris Martin from Coldplay took place at half-time high-up at the 82,500-seater stadium as the pitch was watered in the high heat. After the game, Mr Trump also presented Sanchez with the best goalkeeper award, Palmer with the golden ball trophy for the best player of the tournament, and PSG player Desire Doue with the silver ball trophy for the second-best player of the tournament. The Club World Cup attracted controversy as critics said it would further congest the football calendar and risk the health of players, especially because the featured teams are some of the most successful in the world, meaning they often remain in other knockout competitions until the latter stages. Real Madrid star Kylian Mpappe said: "We play like already, 60 games in the year... you have so many competitions. And we are happy to play, but when it's too much, it's too much. "I think we have to respect the health of the players," the Frenchman continued.
