Medina will launch a shuttle bus service on March 1, marking the beginning of the month of Ramadan, according to Gulf News.
The Medina Bus Project seeks to make the movement of visitors and residents easier during Ramadan.
The service is set to operate routes to the Prophet's Mosque for 18 hours a day. However, Al Salam and Sayyid Al Shuhada stations will run 24/7.
Launched to alleviate traffic congestion, the initiative aims to boost mobility around the mosque and offer visitors and residents with a cleaner environment by decreasing vehicle emissions.

The service covers 106 stops, each equipped with display screens, route maps, as well as service schedules.
Furthermore, the routes serve key locations, such as mosques, historical and archaeological sites, educational institutions, shopping malls, and healthcare facilities.
