Adam Sandler delivers verdict on friend Jennifer Aniston's romance with hypnotist hunk Jim Curtis
The actress, 56, is currently dating 49-year-old hypnotist hunk Jim Curtis, with their romance being revealed earlier this month.
Jennifer - who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, and then Theroux from 2011 until 2017 - sparked romance rumors after she was spotted with Jim on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, during Fourth of July weekend.
Meanwhile Adam and Jennifer share a friendship that stretches back 35 years to 1990, before either of them reached the global superstardom they enjoy today.
Since rocketing to fame, the comedy icons have acted together in three movies - the 2011 romantic comedy Just Go With It and the two Murder Mystery capers, which were released on Netflix in 2019 and 2023.
Now Adam, who has been married to his wife Jackie since 2023, has rendered his verdict on his old pal's new relationship, on Access Hollywood.
'Come on, whatever is going on with Aniston, I'm happy for,' he said at the premiere of his new film Happy Gilmore 2. 'She's just a solid human being, and anything she's doing, but I'm always wishing the best 'cause I love her.'
His remarks come after Jennifer herself held forth about 'not putting pressure' on romantic relationships as she spoke in a new interview.
She told Closer magazine about her love life: 'A good place to be is to be open to [love], but not seeking it.
'That way you don't put any pressure on the situation, and if it happens organically, then amazing.'
She then added of wanting to keep her love life under wraps as much as she can: 'No matter how long I have been in the industry, I will never get used to people thinking they have any sort of right to know about your personal life.'
'She's dating Jim and is very happy, but she's still taking things slowly,' a source previously told DailyMail.com.
They adding that Jen 'feels very connected to Jim, as they have the same level of emotional intelligence, unlike some of her previous suitors.'
Last week Aniston appeared to be dropping hints about the new man in her life.
On Monday, she took to Instagram Stories with a pair of cryptic posts that had fans reading between the lines.
First, the Friends alum reposted a tweet that read: 'The Friends theme song was right, no one told us life was gonna be this way' - seemingly referencing an unexpected new chapter in her life.
Then came the real eyebrow-raiser: a quote from 'mindfulness expert' Case Kenny that read, 'People who still radiate love in a world that has shown them its darkest sides, please never change.'
Fans immediately began theorizing that the message was about Curtis, who's known for his uplifting, love-centric philosophy.
Curtis regularly posts inspirational quotes and 'manifestations' to help people 'break free from their past and patterns' to find love - and Aniston has been following him on the social media platform for almost two years.
Meanwhile, Jen's Instagram clues came hot on the heels of Curtis expressing how meaningful their Mallorca getaway had been.
'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' he wrote in his newsletter, according to Page Six.
'When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis.
'I just took one step, made one decision and the next followed — now I look back and realize, oh! That course, that life change, that pain, resulted in this magic.'
Jim added: 'The same life that brings struggle also brings opportunity. The possibility of something better — more aligned, more free, more meaningful — is always here.'
Curtis has had his own share of life-changing challenges.
Beginning in the summer of 1995, right after his freshman year at the University of New Hampshire, when he was hit with severe nerve pain that would stay with him for years.
An MRI later revealed lesions on his spinal cord, a diagnosis that pushed Curtis to pivot from his 'frat guy athlete' persona and explore a different path focused on healing and personal transformation.
He credits a university professor for setting that new course into motion.
'He taught me to meditate and introduced me to the idea of mindfulness: focusing on just being present,' Curtis shared in a 2017 interview.
Curtis was previously married to Rachel Napolitano, though their relationship reportedly ended not long after she gave birth to their son, Aidan, who is now a teenager.
Aniston, of course, has had her own romantic history in the spotlight.
She was famously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 before their headline-making split when Pitt began a relationship with Angelina Jolie while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
She later tied the knot with actor and writer Justin Theroux in 2015, but the marriage ended in divorce three years later.
In a 2022 interview, Aniston opened up for the first time about her private struggle to have children — and the emotional toll it took.
'It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,' she admitted. 'All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard.
'I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it,' she added. '
'I would've given anything if someone had said to me, 'Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.' You just don't think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.'
Still, Aniston noted: 'I have zero regrets.'

Top WWE SummerSlam match at risk with top star 'blocked from entering US'
A major WWE match announced for SummerSlam 2025 is in serious jeopardy after a top superstar wasn't allowed to travel back to the United States. On the first night of the August 2 and 3 double header, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul are set to face Randy Orton and Grammy Award-winning singer Jelly Roll in a tag team match. McIntyre, known as the Scottish Warrior, has been back in the UK for a friend's wedding in England over the weekend, but he's now claimed he was stopped from boarding his flight back to the US where he has lived for a number of years. 'There's now a good chance I don't make #SummerSlam,' he captioned a video on X as he talking into his phone camera from a field. 'It's quite a week I've had. You wanna know how it's been capped off? i can't get back into America, They wouldn't let me board my flight,' he said in the video. 'I'm in England still, at my buddy's wedding – what a wedding it was. Planning to go back, train for SummerSlam, but no, no, no, no, I got blocked. **Warning – the below video includes strong language** 'Wife and I walked up to the gate, trying to check in, always goes perfectly fine. Not this time.' McIntyre noted that there was an issue with his documentation, despite never having a problem any of the other times he's been travelling. He continued: ''Drew, you don't have your US passport. I know who you are. I know you've lived there for a long time, I know you're showing me pictures of your US passport, and your global entry. ''I know exactly who you are, your property and the likes. But no, we can't let you in the country buddy. 'So my wife and I panic, we say we've got a sick animal at home, we're good people, we care about our animals, we care about people. In the end, his wife travelled back alone 'against her will' to see their pet cat, while McIntyre had to turn around and leave the airport. Ever the professional, the former world champion used the real life incident to continue his on-screen feud with Jelly Roll. 'Here I am. So what happened, what changed this trip? Jelly Roll. You know somebody, got some connections? You've got your 15 minutes of fame right now, can get away with some stuff? You're hot, soon you will not be, so you're getting it in when you can,' he quipped. 'You realised when I took off my shirt on SmackDown, you went , 'Oh my God! All that aura, I'm screwed!' So you screw up my training for SummerSlam week. More Trending 'Why am I in a field? I don't know what I'm in a field but I can tell you one thing! When this is all over, I'm gonna get back, and I'm gonna drop you Jelly Roll. 'I'm gonna make you pay. And eventually, you're gonna gain all that weight back and you're gonna look like one of these f***ers.' It remains to be seen whether McIntyre will make it back by the the weekend, or if a replacement will need to be found for the match. Jennifer Lopez's skirt DROPS to the floor in shock wardrobe malfunction on stage: 'I'm glad I had underwear on'
Jennifer Lopez didn't let anything like a little wardrobe malfunction upset her performance in Warsaw on Friday. The artist, 56, who has split from her record label, was in the middle of a wardrobe change when she was called back out on the stage so the crowd could sing Happy Birthday to her. The singer, who is traveling on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, was wearing a gold sequined triangle bikini top and fiddling with her gold fringe skirt when she came out on stage. A backup dancer got behind her to attach it, and it seemed to work, for a couple of seconds at least. As she walked across the stage saying 'Thank you Warsaw,' the flimsy garment dropped to the floor. Lopez looked shocked for a second, but quickly recovered and took a sort of victory lap around the stage in her high waist gold lamé bottom and sparkling boots. She tried to attach it again, with the help of the dancer, as her crew broke out into the Stevie Wonder hit Happy Birthday. Wonder originally wrote the song to advocate for the establishment of a holiday honoring the late civil rights legend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Jenny on the Block singer doubled over laughing as her helper struggled, again, to attach the hooks on the skirt. As the song concluded she grabbed the offending piece of clothing and threw it into the crowd. 'I'm glad that they reinforced that costume,' the MTV Video Music Award winner said. 'I'm glad I had underwear on,' she admitted, adding, 'I don't usually wear underwear.' She also told the person who caught the skirt, 'you can keep it. I don't want it back.' Fans who saw the video on YouTube were eager to share their good wishes and admiration for the Billboard Icon Award winner. 'Unstoppable Force ! Happy Birthday Icon, wrote one admirer, and then using some of JLo's own words to describe the situation. 'One of my favourite quote of JLo is failure isn't falling down flat on your face failure is stopping !!!' 'Fantastic, thank you for the surprise,' wrote another. JLo was set to perform in Bucharest on Sunday night and then take off for Abu Dhabi. The tour was scheduled to conclude in Almaty in Kazakhstan on August 10.
