Evolution 2025 (Image via WWE)
Evolution 2025, the second edition of the all-women's professional wrestling pay-per-view event, was a night full of some exceptional performances from the women from all divisions of
WWE
.
Female wrestling stars from the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT divisions made sure that this night, which was only for the women, is remembered for all the right reasons, and helps in advancing women's wrestling even more.
The State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, lit up in all its glory, and it's all thanks to the women who have been the catalyst in taking women's wrestling to the next level.
From an exciting three-way match for the Intercontinental Championship title between Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, and
Becky Lynch
to the chaotic fatal-4-way tag team championship match to a Battle Royale that saw wrestling greats come together for a shot at Class in Paris to the finale event between IYO SKY and
Rhea Ripley
, the night was filled with moments that had the fans thrilled.
So now, let's take a look at all the winners and top performers of the night.
Intercontinental Championship match
In a fiery three-way match between Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, and Becky Lynch, the Intercontinental Championship belt was up for grabs. There were plenty of near falls and near wins, but one or the other kept interrupting before anyone could take the win. At the end, Lynch retained her title by pinning Bayley and getting the win.
NXT Women's Championship match
The audience was already fired up after the inaugural match before Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace entered the ring for the NXT Women's Championship title. While Grace looked to have the upper hand for most of the match, Jayne managed to take the win by using the belt as a weapon and using it on her opponent for a pinfall. And everyone saw Blake Monroe turn heel, right?
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way match
Charlotte Flair and
Alexa Bliss
, Asuka and Kairi Sane, Sol Ruca and Zairi, and the current Tag team champions, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, put on an amazing show for the fans as the night of Evolution progressed.

It was the Judgement Day members, though, who managed to continue their tag team domination and retain their title by winning by pinfall.
WWE Women's Championship match
Tiffany Stratton and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus came together for an exciting showdown for the Women's Championship belt. Stratus challenged her one-time tag team partner - Stratton, the current title holder, for the championship. And while Stratton managed to retain her title by defeating Stratus, it was the latter who emerged as the star of the show, as the crowd cheered her on even after she lost the match.
No Holds Barred match
Jade Cargill and Naomi were going to be explosive and that's exactly what they brought into the ring. The weapons came in as soon as the match began and the rivals went at it, taking out all their anger and frustration at each other. Bianca Belair, the special guest referee, felt a little out of place, but the two opponents made sure that all eyes were on them. At the end, Cargill hit Naomi with a Jaded from the top rope through a table, and won the match via pinfall.
Battle Royal
With many wrestlers inside the ring, it was bound to get chaotic even before the match began.
Nikki Bella
, alongside Nia Jax and Stephanie Vaquer, were top contenders to win the match, and were actually the last four inside the ring alongside Lash. Finally, the win went to Vaquer, who used her Devil's Kiss to eliminate Lash at the end and win herself a shot at Clash in Paris in August.
Women's World Championship match
They really left the beat for the last, as IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley came together for a gruelling but classic match that had everyone guessing till the end. With moments of magic all through the fight, Ripley would have won the match had the referee not been knocked out. But the final twist came with Naomi cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase, and taking advantage of battered and bruised Ripley and SKY after a 26-minute-long bout.
She threw Ripley out of the ring and did a split-legged moonsault on SKY for the pin and win.

'Son of Sardaar 2' X reviews out: Netizens laud Ajay Devgn's 'paisa vasool' film, praise his comic timing

Son Of Sardaar 2 X Review: Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur 's newly released comedy-drama has finally made its way to cinemas. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film serves as a spiritual continuation of the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar, which starred Ajay in a similarly quirky, action-filled role. This new installment not only revisits the vibrant Punjabi humor and family-oriented storytelling of the original but also marks the final screen appearance of actor Mukul Dev, who passed away before the film's release. Audience Reaction and Social Buzz As expected, moviegoers wasted no time sharing their initial impressions after the film's first-day screenings. Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) was quickly filled with a wave of viewer responses. Many called the film an entertaining crowd-pleaser, even as they acknowledged some narrative shortcomings. Audiences broadly labeled it a "paisa vasool" experience, meaning that it's worth the money, provided viewers don't take it too seriously. They praised his earthy charisma, impeccable comic timing, and magnetic screen appeal. According to this viewer, the movie successfully combines action, emotional beats, and a family-oriented storyline while staying rooted in its Punjabi cultural backdrop. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Global Indices Are on the Move — Time to Trade! Her performance was described as graceful and balanced, especially when paired opposite Ajay's intense presence. Viewers also felt that the chemistry between the leads was engaging and natural, and the supporting cast delivered well-timed humor that kept the narrative light. Despite the overall positive buzz, some viewers pointed out areas where the film felt slightly prolonged. They noted that while the comedy and emotional moments worked, the plot lacked major twists or unexpected developments. As a result, the story felt a bit predictable, although still enjoyable for its entertainment value. One person described the movie as a satisfying sequel that mirrors the original in tone and flavor, even if it doesn't break new ground. — UmairSandu (@UmairSandu) Dissenting Opinions and Sharp Criticism However, not all feedback was glowing. A handful of negative reviews emerged as well. One particularly harsh critique came from a viewer who rated the film just one star out of five, calling it the worst film of 2025. This user found fault with both the lead and supporting performances, labeling the film as cringeworthy and poorly executed. Plot Overview and Box Office Competition The story revolves around a man who fakes being a war hero in an effort to help two lovers gain approval from their disapproving families. The narrative draws on themes of love, deception, and familial bonds, all within a humorous setup. The project is backed by producers Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N.R. Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja. Son of Sardaar 2 has been released alongside Dhadak 2 , a romantic action drama starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, making for a competitive box office weekend.

Which Indian has the longest gap between fifties in cricket history? No it's not Karun Nair

India's Karun Nair raises his bat after scoring a fifty against England in the fifth Test at The Oval. (PTI) It had been a long wait — 3149 days to be precise — but Karun Nair finally has another fifty-plus score to his name in Test cricket. The right-hander, who once lit up the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai with a remarkable 303 not out against England in December 2016, reached an unbeaten 52 at stumps on Day 1 of the fifth Test on Thursday, marking his first significant score in nearly nine years. This gap between two fifty-plus scores in men's Tests is the second-longest for an Indian batter, since the second World War. The only Indian with a longer drought is Parthiv Patel , who endured 4426 days between his fourth and fifth Test fifties — from 54 against Australia in October 2004 to 67 against England in November 2016. India vs England 5th Test Preview: Can Shubman Gill's India level the series at The Oval? Nair's resilient half-century came after a series of promising, but thrown-away starts during previous matches. It was a major highlight of the opening day's play at The Oval, helping India cross the 200-run mark and stitching a half-century partnership with Washington Sundar, which will resume on day two. This tour marks Nair's return to international cricket after eight years. India's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate hailed Nair's fighting half-century against England. "He started off at six in the first test and then batted at three for the other two tests. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Real-Time Conversations in 68 Languages?
