It has a huge fan following
Netflix fans have just days to watch the 'best show ever written' before it leaves the platform.

Sci-fi thriller Lost, is considered one of the biggest television series ever made. For some time now, fans have been able to rediscover the title or binge it for the first time thanks to its inclusion in the major streamer's library.

However, as long time subscribers will be all too aware of, Netflix's offering is always changing. While this usually means exciting new additions, it also means titles no longer being made available.

This is often due to agreements expiring between production companies and studios. In the most recent case, all seasons of Lost are set to be removed from Netflix on August 14. This is the case for every region around the globe with the exception for the US.
It is reported that users stateside will be able to stream episodes until 2026. So if fans want to be binge all six seasons of Lost on Netflix, they have a limited time to do it.

UK users do have alternative options however, as at the time of writing the show is currently available to watch for free on ITVX. However, of course streaming on the broadcaster's platform means that viewers will be forced to watch alongside advertisement breaks.
That's not all though as Lost's run of 121 episodes is also available on Disney+. Users will need a premium subscription for that option though.
It could be a viable option for those who want to experience what many consider as one of the best shows ever made. While it is full of mystery, twists and turns, the show's synopsis states it follows "the survivors of a plane crash who find themselves stranded on a mysterious island. They are forced to work together for their survival when they realise that they are not alone on the island."

Overall the show boasts an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Empire magazine listed it as the 13th best show of all time out of 100. It was co-created by Star Wars director J. J. Abrams, filmmaker Damon Lindelof who went on to make The Leftovers and Watchmen plus screenwriter Jeffrey Lieber.
Fans are still just as vocal with their praise of the show. One sharing their thoughts online simply posted: "One of the best shows of all time. Very rewatchable"

Another added: "One of the most mysterious, magical shows ever presented. nearly every episode came up with new, often mind blowing, twist that left me totally transfixed and begging for more. I hated seeing it end."
Someone else commented: "Lost is an absolutely amazing series right from the beginning to end. It is like a perfect blend of of sci-fi and supernatural thriller. There's not even a single episode which is not thrilling or engaging. It was really atmospheric to watch this especially at nights. A true thriller, a real mystery masterpiece."
Meanwhile, one person said: "I love it!! I've seen a lot of TV shows but this one is different. I think is one of the best shows ever written."

One of TV's most popular newcomers returns to Emmerdale in early ITVX release

The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) has returned to Emmerdale. We were first introduced to the teen earlier this year, when an episode of the ITV soap aired that revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) while she was living on the streets. Dylan was one of the few people who looked out for April while she was homeless. Her time living rough ended when she was found by a member of the public and rushed to hospital. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) arrived, they learnt April had given birth to a stillborn baby girl. April then returned to Mill Cottage but because of this, she never got to say a proper goodbye to her friend. Dylan then made his way to the village in search of April a few weeks later. He lived with April for a little while as he attempted to get clean from drugs. However, due to the fact Marlon was very focused on rebuilding his relationship with his daughter, it felt like Dylan was getting in the way. It led him to planting drugs from the vets on Dylan, making it seem as though he had lied to April. Dylan then made a deal with Marlon, which saw him pay for rehab on the condition Dylan would not tell April the truth. During this story, many fans of the ITV soap grew to love Dylan, which meant plenty of them were thrilled to see him tuning into the latest episode. More Trending Dylan had been sneaking about in the village that morning and it didn't take April very long to find him. As they caught up, April smiled as she learnt that Dylan had turned his life around as a result of rehab, and was now living in Hotten. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Catherine Zeta-Jones gives rare insight into ‘tearful' moment with kids ahead of Wednesday season 2

The Oscar winner opened up about her family Wednesday star Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared a rare insight into her personal life while making season two of the Netflix hit, reports WalesOnline. ‌ The forthcoming season, which will controversially be split in half, sees Pugsley Addams (played by Isaac Ordonez) heading to Nevermore Academy to join his older sister Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), and 55-year-old Oscar winner Zeta-Jones admitted it was an emotional affair both for her character and herself as she drew parallels to her own children. ‌ Opening up about shooting the moment, The Chicago and Crash actress said: 'I have a lovely scene with Pugsley where I say, 'Good luck,' as he embarks on his first day. And Morticia sees in him all those nervous things about it being your first day at school, which is always traumatic for the person going to school, and also for the parent. ‌ 'But on a personal level, I don't think I ever didn't cry when I dropped off my kids for the first day of school. Each year, it was something, another challenge for them.' Zeta-Jones is married to Hollywood icon Michael Douglas with the couple sharing two children Carys Zeta Douglas, 22, and Dylan Douglas, 24. ‌ Watch Wednesday on Netflix for free with Sky from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description She went on to say how the scene not only reminded of her seeing her children off to school, but also reminded her of being a maternal older sister to her younger brother Lyndon Jones. The actress explained: 'So it's wonderful. In the writing, you see the dynamic of Wednesday having a sibling at school. ‌ 'I remember that, too, in my personal life. I remember my little brother coming to the school. I was a little bit parental.' But the parallels between Zeta-Jones' personal life and Wednesday don't end there after she opened up about the mother-daughter dynamic between Wednesday and Morticia in season two. Zeta-Jones detailed: 'Mother-daughter relationships are varied. Some of them are at loggerheads during certain times in their life. ‌ 'Wednesday Addams and Morticia Addams' relationship is beautiful, it's encouraging, it's contentious, it's fraught. It's all those things a mother-daughter relationship goes through, which is a wonderful experience as a mother and not so much as a daughter. I speak from experience.' Adding: 'To be able to play those in Wednesday is something that's very important and something that's very real.' ‌ Season two has been split into two parts and sees Wednesday trying to unravel another deadly mystery and face new foes in the twisty corridors of Nevermore. There will be some fresh faces, with the likes of British icon and Absolutely Fabulous' Joanna Lumley joining the cast as Wednesday's Grandmother Hester Frump, Back to the Future and The Addams Family star Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff, Westworld 's Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Rachael Fairburn, Hollywood legend Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort, and Doctor Who actress Billie Piper as Isadora Capri. Further new cast members include Devs' star Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nayo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Owen Painter as Slurp, Noah B. Taylor as Bruno, and Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille.
