Hulk Hogan's son fights back tears as late father is honored at SummerSlam
WWE played a video montage on screens at MetLife Stadium and on the Peacock stream.
'He was undefeated [at SummerSlam] … just so many great moments, too many to talk about really in the career of a man who carried professional wrestling on his back for three decades,' WWE announcer Michael Cole said on the broadcast. 'Rest in peace brother.'

Nick placed his hands near his heart as fans cheered and then waved toward the crowd while fighting back tears.
He was with his wife, Tana Lea.
Nick previously appeared at WWE's Monday Night Raw on July 28, where he watched another tribute to his father.
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24 from a heart attack.
He was 71 years old.

Per records obtained by Page Six, Hogan had a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), which is a type of cancer affecting white blood cells.
It was not publicly known that he had been battling cancer.
On Aug. 1, Florida honored him by marking the date as 'Hulk Hogan Day.'
'Tomorrow, Aug. 1, is officially 'Hulk Hogan Day' in the state of Florida,' Nick wrote on Instagram. 'My dad was a true Floridian and loved his home state. Thank you for this honor @flgovrondesantis. He would be so proud of this.'

He speculated that WWE might feel confident the case is heading toward arbitration or nearing a settlement—both scenarios that would reduce Lesnar's legal exposure and clear the path for his return. Putting the controversy aside, there's no question Lesnar's comeback is a huge moment for WWE. With SummerSlam 2026 taking place in Minneapolis—Lesnar's hometown—it's easy to imagine this leading up to a retirement match. If that's the case, we could be witnessing the final run of Cena's career and the last chapter in one of WWE's most memorable rivalries. Close friends of late chef and Food Network star Anne Burrell are in shock and disbelief that the charismatic gourmand ended her life. The 'Worst Cooks In America' star's death was ruled a suicide due to acute intoxication from a combination of drugs according to the New York City medical examiner's office. Sources close to the 55-year-old chef and cookbook author, survived by husband Stuart Claxton, say she was in great spirits just hours earlier. Weeks before her death, Burrell appeared to be relishing the excitement of her new project, sharing a selfie with a group of her improvised comedy friends and another selfie inside an improv studio in Brooklyn, teasing her June 16 show. 'Soooooo… as I have mentioned I have been taking Improv classes @thesecondcitytc and having an ABSOLUTE blast!!!' she wrote. Advertisement 'She was having so much fun with this group of new friends.
