The 24-year-old forward has joined on a five-year deal. Forest did not say what the fee was for Ndoye, who helped his team to the Coppa Italia title last season by scoring the winning goal in the final.
'Dan is an exciting new addition to our squad and a player we have tracked extensively over a long period of time,' said Forest chief football officer Ross Wilson.
Forest has also signed Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha this offseason.
Ndoye has won 22 caps and played at last year's European Championship.
'It is a really exciting time at Forest and I knew straight away that I wanted to be a part of the project. It's a really ambitious team with a fantastic history and I can't wait to get started," he said.

Chelsea sign Dutch defender Hato from Ajax - World

Chelsea signed teenage Netherlands defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax in a deal worth a reported £37 million ($49 million) on Sunday. Hato, who has been capped six times, agreed a seven-year contract with the Premier League club. The 19-year-old is Chelsea's eighth signing since the end of last season as boss Enzo Maresca strengths his squad to cope with the duel demands of the Premier League and Champions League this term. "I'm very excited, I'm so happy to be here," said Hato, who can operate in central defence or at left-back. "I thought a lot about my future and wanted to take the next step in my career. Chelsea is the best place for me to do that so I'm very happy." Hato joined Ajax's academy from hometown club Sparta Rotterdam in 2018 and signed his first professional contract aged 16 four years later. He scored four goals in 111 appearances for the Eredivisie giants, with his international debut coming as a substitute against Gibraltar in 2023. Club World Cup champions Chelsea begin their Premier League campaign at home to Crystal Palace on August 17. The Blues had signed Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Mamadou Sarr, Dario Essugo, Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez prior to landing Hato. Swimming: Tunisia's Jaouadi pushes through pain for second world gold - Omni sports

Tunisia's Ahmed Jaouadi added the 1,500m freestyle world title to his 800m crown on Sunday for a Singapore double, with two-time Olympic champion Bobby Finke only third. Jaouadi won a thriller to grab gold in 14min 34.41sec, ahead of Germany's Sven Schwarz (14:35.69) and the American world record holder Finke (14:36.60). With three laps to go in the gruelling long-distance race, it was a three-way tussle between Jaouadi, Schwarz and Finke. Jaouadi timed it to perfection, leading at the bell from the German and holding him off in the final lap. "A lot of pain, a lot of struggle. I knew that everyone is struggling and everyone is feeling the pain," said the Tunisian. "I wasn't the only one. I just tried to be the strongest one mentally. It was a good one because all of the boys swum a good race and everyone tried to win it. "Through my body it was a lot of pain, it hurts. But through my mind was I want this medal, I want to win it. It's as simple as that." Jaouadi's 800m free title earlier in the week was his first major crown. Finke is the two-time reigning Olympic champion in the 1,500m and world record holder following his 14:30.67 in Paris a year ago. Jaouadi was sixth in the French capital.
