A police investigation is under way after a car was stolen in Annan.

The BMW M3 was taken from a property in the town's Morningside Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

It is thought another BMW – either silver or grey – was seen in the area around the same time.

The stolen BMW is white and has the registration B7CJX. It was taken at around 3.45am on Wednesday, July 30.
Detective Constable Christopher Trosh said: 'Our enquiries are ongoing and we're working to identify those responsible and trace the stolen vehicle.

Sergeant Ross Allison said: 'Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this crash, and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist to contact us. 'I would also ask any drivers with dash-cam who were in the Gartlea Road area at the time to review their footage and please contact us if it holds anything which may be relevant.' An elderly man has been left fighting for his life after being hit by a car while riding a mobility scooter in Airdrie. ‌ Emergency services rushed to Gartlea Road around 4.50pm on Friday, August 1, following reports of a serious crash involving a Vauxhall Mokka and an 84-year-old man on a mobility scooter. ‌ The pensioner was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where medical staff have described his condition as critical. ‌ The 43-year-old male driver of the car was not injured. A murder investigation is underway after a teenager was stabbed to death. The 19-year-old man was attacked just before 9pm on Friday in a car park on Market Street in Bury, Greater Manchester. He suffered several stab wounds and later died from his injuries. No arrests have been made. Detective Chief Inspector John Charlton, from Greater Manchester Police 's major incident team, said the victim's family were being supported. He said: 'This incident will have shocked the community and distressed anyone who witnessed it, but we believe this was a targeted attack with no wider threat. 'We have several scenes in place with the investigation ongoing in order to identify and apprehend the offenders responsible. 'There will be officers in the area today and in the coming days as we are determined to bring the family the answers they deserve.
