2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Is a 641 HP Super Sedan With Special Features
Appearance-wise, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N carries multiple visual elements of its refreshed sibling revealed earlier. This includes the new sleeker headlights. With the N badge, it now gets a more aggressive front end with wider fenders and a swan neck rear wing. There are also new black side sills and a new bumper at the rear end. To further add to the bold looks, the fenders have flared. All of this is complemented by the shade of Performance Blue Pearl.
Sharing its powertrain with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, the car justifies its N badge with an all-wheel-drive powertrain and 601 hp of power. If this is not enough, the car has an N Grin Boost button which increases the output to 641 hp for 10 seconds while sucking the juice from a 84 kWh battery pack. When put to use, the sedan goes from standstill to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 257 kmph. The battery can be juiced up in 18 minutes from 10 to 80 per cent using a 350 kW DC fast charger.
To offer control over the speed, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N gets four-piston front calipers and a single-piston unit at the rear end with 15.7 and 14.1-inch rotors, respectively. These are hidden behind 20-inch wheels with 275-section Pirelli P Zero 5 summer tires. It is worth mentioning that these rubbers have been specifically developed for the new N model. Furthermore, the suspension geometry and chassis calibration are also new.
To make things even better, the brand offers a long list of features. This includes N Active Sound + system, N e-Shift faux dual-clutch transmission, N Drift Optimizer, N Battery to precondition the battery for high-performance driving, and N Torque Distribution.

It will also allow the company to focus on revitalizing its business and try to reclaim its position as a leading supplier of the advanced chips driving the artificial revolution just as US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose crippling duties on chip exports. South Korean prosecutors in 2023 sought a five-year prison sentence along with a 500 million won ($362,000) fine for Lee. However, a Seoul district court in February 2024 ruled in Lee's favor. A year later, the Seoul High Court dismissed the prosecution's appeal and upheld the lower court's decision, clearing Lee of all charges. The case had been ongoing since 2020. Samsung Group shares rose Thursday following the verdict. Samsung Electronics shares rose as much as 2.3 per cent while Samsung Biologics Co. Ltd shares jumped as much as 3.1 per cent. 'Today's final ruling by the Supreme Court has clearly confirmed that the merger of Samsung C&T and the accounting treatment of Samsung Biologics were lawful,' Samsung's legal counsel said in a statement. The acquittal lifts a weight off the world's largest maker of memory chips and displays, which has been battling intense competition. Domestic rival SK Hynix Inc. has stolen a march over Samsung in the race to supply cutting edge chips for the development of AI. Korea has expressed deep concerns over Washington's proposal to levy import duties on semiconductors, with Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo warning this week that such duties could deal a significant blow to one of the nation's key export industries. Lee, 57, was embroiled for years in legal struggles that rocked the tech establishment and triggered a political scandal that led to the impeachment of former President Park Geun-hye. But Lee secured a presidential pardon in 2022 from the graft charges, allowing him to formally take the helm of the conglomerate that his grandfather created in 1938.

The Karnataka government's decision to cancel the acquisition of land in Devanahalli for an aerospace park has led to a tug of war between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka over the future of the project, with Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh inviting the aerospace industry to his State and Karnataka Industries Minister M.B. Patil stating that there was no need to relocate. Both Ministers spoke to The Hindu after a sharp exchange of comments on the issue on social media platform X. Speaking a day after his post on the subject went viral, Mr. Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resource Development, Information Technology, and Real Time Governance, said that his invitation to industries in the aerospace sector was meant seriously. 'I believe in States being competitive, and the offer was made in that spirit. We are actively thinking of reaching out to the aerospace industry to set up shop in Andhra Pradesh, we have over 8,000 acres to spare, and Anantapur is a good spot. Apart from Kia (South Korean automobile multinational Kia Corporation), we are actively looking at the renewable energy and defence industries sectors for that area. We are totally prepared to scale up the infrastructure required,' he said. Responding to Mr. Lokesh's offer, Karnataka Industries Minister M.B. Patil categorically stated that the cancellation of the land acquisition in Devanahalli, after protests by farmer groups, did not mean the end of the aerospace project. 'Out of the 1,700 acres that were earmarked, there are some people, with around 700 acres, who voluntarily came forward for land acquisition. Also, this is not the last parcel of land available in Karnataka. For the aerospace industry to prosper, elements apart from land are also crucial, which are available in Karnataka, like an ecosystem for defence-related industries to flourish. Karnataka provides 65% of the aerospace base in the country and is the third largest globally. Not even one industry will move out of Karnataka for want of land. I want to convey to Nara Lokesh that our waters are calm,' Mr. Patil said. 'This morning itself I had a meeting with officials from an aerospace company and things are still on,' he added. Why Devanahalli farmers in Karnataka have been protesting for over 1,180 days The land acquisition in Devanahalli was halted after 1,198 days of protests, with direct intervention by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in favour of farmers who did not want to give up land for industry and wanted to continue with agriculture. The aerospace park project envisaged a large space for the development of the sector. While the war of words has been on, the involvement of senior Ministers has a history behind it. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had, in a previous tenure as Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, managed to entice the team setting up the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad, despite feelers from other States, by being proactive about the ISB team's concerns over land and other issues at the time.

Samsung may be preparing to bring back S-Pen support to its Galaxy Z Fold series in future iterations, following the stylus' conspicuous absence from the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to a recent report from South Korean publicationETNews, the company is actively researching new technologies to make this possible. The development was reportedly confirmed by Kang Min-seok, Head of Smartphone Product Planning at Samsung, who allegedly revealed that the tech giant is working on next-generation S-Pen capabilities. The move is said to be part of a broader effort to improve the user experience on its foldable smartphones, with the possibility of even integrating a dedicated slot for the stylus in future models. This could mark a potential reversal in Samsung's recent trend of scaling back stylus-related features. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, which was officially unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event earlier this month, became the first book-style foldable from the brand in years to omit support for the S-Pen. Samsung defended the move at the time by pointing to low usage figures, claiming that less than one per cent of users made regular use of the advanced stylus functions. However, growing consumer demand and evolving hardware design may prompt a change in direction. Kang noted that the company is now focusing on achieving a better balance between form and function, rather than simply pursuing thinner and lighter devices. 'We are developing thinner and more innovative technologies for the S-Pen,' he reportedly stated, adding that the stylus will return once its functionality and integration reach a satisfactory level of refinement. While there is no official timeline yet, the comments suggest that Samsung has not abandoned its iconic stylus altogether. If these developments materialise, future versions of the Galaxy Z Fold could once again cater to power users and note-takers looking for productivity tools within a foldable format.
